Piacevole esperienza a Penzance

Proprietari di casa gentilissimi, ci hanno fornito tanti consigli Abitazione bellissima, camera molto pulita. Colazione davvero top! Mi è piaciuto molto aver fatto colazione su un' unica grande tavola, apparecchiata benissimo ed aver potuto quindi conversare con gli altri ospiti di diverse nazionalità...cosa inusuale ma molto gradita. Un caro saluto ad Elvis, il loro cane, molto educato ed affettuoso. Consigliatissimo!

Superschönes B&B mit sagenhaftem Frühstück

Super schöne Pension. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist sehr schön, sowohl von innen als außen, viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Gastgeber sind super bemüht und freundlich, helfen einem weiter oder geben Empfehlungen. Im Zimmer gibt es eine kleine teestation und es war sehr gemütlich. Tolles Duschgel und Shampoo im Bad. Sehr vielfältiges und frische Frühstück, wirklich sagenhaft. Und der süße freundliche haushund ist wirklich das Sahnehäubchen ;) ich war mit den öffis in Cornwall unterwegs, Penzance ist hier zu empfehlen mit Bus und Zug gut angebunden 👍🏼 ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt, ca 15 min zum bhf

Perfect Place in Penzance

This is a real gem of a place in Penzance. Ally , Mike and their furry pet Elvis are the perfect hosts. The room was immaculate, the house is beautifully decorated and well located within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The spread at breakfast was incredible and definitely far superior to other B and B's. Thanks to the great hosts, always willing to help and share tips. We will Definitely return.

Probably the best stay ever !

A five star stay with Ali and Mike and Elvis the dog . They were gracious hosts, the room was excellent in decor size cleanliness. I can’t remember ever having a better stay, both myself and Steph my wife would like to thank our hosts for a great stay and a much needed break. We would like to congratulate them on achieving the no.1 slot of all the guest houses in the Penzance area for quality and value - a well deserved accolade for all their hard work. Can recommend Holbein House to everyone thinking of staying - five stars ! ***** 😀

Friendly welcome, beautiful house, great location x

I was visiting Penzance on my own for a funeral, and a bit wobbly. Ali and Mike (and not forgetting Elvis the friendly labrador) could not have been more welcoming. The house was beautiful, warm and clean and my room was lovely. The location was great (I walked easily from the train station) and Penzance was lovely.

Kleines Zimmer, aber sehr sauber, gemackvoll eingerichtet. Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine und Zubehör zur Selbstbedienung im Zimmer. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sehr gutes und vielseitiges Frühstück

Nice location and large room with a view.

The location was very difficult to find as there is no signage on the outside. Parking is also a challenge. The host however did meet us and help us with our luggage after we called for help! The room was very large and had a nice view. The host also prepared fresh fruit for us earlier than typically breakfast time so we could head out to hike.

The bed was not very comfortable and there was no fan. It was very warm and we found it hard to sleep. There was no instruction given for wi-fi upon arrival.

You won't regret booking here!

A small family run B&B with extremely friendly and professional owners (Ally & Mike). Amazing attention to detail, the room we stayed in was spotless and very comfortable with a nice ensuite shower. Breakfast in the morning was a top quality English cooked breakfast with all the options, including self serve cereals and fresh fruits and yogurts. Ally & Mike are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations etc. Elvis the dog was the star of the show!

It was all exceptional. Will be coming back for sure!

Relaxing, comfortable and welcoming

Beautiful room and bathroom with a great shower, really great location. Within walking distance of the train/bus station. Really friendly and welcoming hosts who go above and beyond and have lots of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Elvis and Molly are both lovely pets. Excellent breakfast with lots of options.

It was the perfect stay! Already planning on going back.

These hosts care about what they do and it shows: an outstanding B&B!

Holbein House is in a great location, within walking distance from the rail station, promenade and centre of town. It stands out among the other B&Bs in the street as its signage is discreet and stylish. Great communication from hosts explaining the self check in process for late arrival - worked like a charm. The room was airy (beautiful large windows), and large beautiful high ceilings. Very comfortable bed and a brilliant shower. Loved the guest book explaining everything and also the handy tips for restaurants and pubs (very helpful on a quiet Monday night). The breakfast room was beautiful and the table laid beautifully with care - it felt like such a treat in the morning. Lots of choice and quality in terms of cereal, yoghurt and fruit (and even banana bread and brownies), and then followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice (gorgeous scrambled eggs). Delicious coffee. The hosts were hospitable and friendly and added to the great atmosphere in this beautiful B&B. They care about what they do and it shows.

Lovely stay in the heart of Cornwall

We loved our stay at Holbein House. The hosts are extremely nice, the house is beautiful, and their pets (dog, cat and bunny) are absolutely adorable. The location is good, in a residential neighbourhood and very close to a beautiful park and also to the sea. There are a Lidl and a Co-op within a 10-minute walk. The train station is 15 minutes away by walking. The breakfast (served between 8am-9:15am) was freshly cooked and delicious. We’d love to go back one day!
