Welcoming. Comfortable.

Barbara, the proprietor, was great. She warmly welcomed us and offered us a glass of wine. She gave us recommendations for dinner. Whenever we encountered her she always asked if we needed anything. Breakfast was also great. The rooms were lovely and comfortable.

Un service et un déjeuner exceptionnels!!!

L’accueil de Barbara et de sa maman était impeccable. On nous a accueilli avec un breuvage et un délicieux gâteau. Les conseils pour le parc national étaient précis. Idem pour le dîner au Tina’s house. Le déjeuner était in-cro-yable! Et on vous permet même de partir avec des collations pour un pique-nique! Définitivement notre coup de cœur de notre voyage en Croatie! A recommander les yeux fermés!

Pas grand chose. Le signal wi-fi n’était pas top.

Welcoming and a little bit of luxury close to the lakes.

Zrinka House is one of the best stays we have had. From the moment we arrived everything exceeded expectations. The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The hosts were amazing and so accomodating. Will definitely be back.

Lovely stay

We had a very nice stay at Zrinka. Clearly the ladies like to take care of people. Very spontaneous and warm-hearted. The interior of the entire house is also arranged down to the last detail. Received many tips what we could do in the area. Worth a big 10 for us!

One of the best inns we have stayed in, EVER!

Zrinka and her daughter Barbara are wonderful. The inn is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Our room was perfectly appointed, comfortable and gorgeous. The welcome was a pleasant surprise with wine and cake. Breakfast the next morning was over the top, and we were encouraged to make a beautiful picnic to take with us to Plitvice National Park. This is an amazing value and we highly recommend Zrinka House!

We could have stayed there for a week - such a lovely relaxing place.

Beautiful house with lovely decor and the most comfortable beds ever! Zrinka and Barbara are wonderful hosts. They provided us with a delicious vegan breakfast and packed lunch for our day out.

This a first class Bed & Breakfast and a must stay if you are visiting Plitvice Lakes.

We came back to Zrinka’s after 5 years and the high standard of service, food and facilities has not changed. From the moment we arrived, we warmly welcomed by Barbara who assisted us with our luggage and offered us coffee and cake. Room is very spacious and nicely designed, breakfast was superb with lots of variety. Zrinka is a wonderful and most attentive host who cannot do enough for you. We were invited to make our own sandwich lunch to take to Plitvice Lakes which is only a 10 minute drive to Entrance 1. If you are intending to go to Plitvice, I would highly recommend Zrinka’s House.

If you go to Plitvice, you need to stay at Zrinka House!

Zrinka House was one of the best hotels we have ever been to. Everything has exceeded expectations: the room, the breakfast and, especially, the kindness and enthusiasm of the two owners. As soon as we arrived, we were offered juice and cake and we were given great advice on places for dinner and stops to make while on our way to the south of Croatia. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade cakes, biscuits and healthy options. I just cannot recommend this place enough :)

WONDERFUL ☺️

EVERYTHING, Barbara and Zrinka are amazing hostess, they go above and beyond for guests, we have been traveling for a while and undoubtedly this has been an exceptional stay. if your planing on traveling to visit Plitvice Lakes or simply to need a place to feel at home and welcomed Zrinka house is THE PLACE. Oh!! Breakfast is 5 stars, the cook all the bakery (DELICIOUS) have vegan options, cook eggs any way you want and even send you off with sandwiches to have your picnic at the lakes. Again simply EXCEPTIONAL.

There is nothing not to like.

What a wonderful place

Wonderful stay here - Zrinka and family are incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was lovely (with a comfortable bed and excellent shower) and the breakfasts were delicious. Very kind of them to give you foods specifically for a picnic to bring to the lakes. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone!

We enjoyed the hotel, food and staff and it was great to come back here after a day in the park.

Breakfast was all freshly made and they gave out bags to pack a lunch to eat in the park. They offered freshly made cake and drinks after our park visit. The room was large quiet and with huge clean bathroom with hot water. The room was cleaned each day and new towels for the bathroom. The wifi signal was strong and worked. There is plenty of car parking. They also respond quickly to email and send you information to make your stay better. This is the place to stay while visiting Plitvice lakes national.

You will need a car to reach the park. It is not far driving about 20 minutes depending on traffic but I feel too far to walk and enjoy the park.

Best accommodation ever! Zrinka and Barbara are simply amazing. The house is beautiful and the breakfast is the best I ever had. Barbara bakes everything herself. We already miss this place. Thank you so much for everything!!

This is an exceptionally clean and great accommodation, I recommend it to everyone.

Everything was spotlessly clean. The owners are very kind and hospitable. The breakfast offer was impeccable, whatever you asked for, it was already brought. In fact, they encouraged you to pack anything for the trip, they also added a paperbag. The room had a huge bed, a minibar, was cleaned every day and new towels were put out. I have never been to such an extraordinary accommodation before, I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! The apartment alone is worth coming to this area :)

Everything was excellent, I could say one exception. The noises coming from the neighboring rooms and the corridor could be heard quite a bit in our room. This was a bit annoying if you wanted to take a break in the afternoon. Maybe the subsequent soundproofing would help, and then it would really be a 5* accommodation.

Exceptional

When we arrived the inn keeper gave us slices of chocolate cake and was so nice. The breakfast is phenomenal and they are so thoughtful....they give you items to pack for a picnic when you go to the waterfalls. The room is big and updated with very nice decor. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Hidden jewel in Plitvice

The rooms are modern, spacious and very comfortable. The location is convenient and peaceful. The customer service is outstanding: we were greeted with coffee and cake on our arrival, and given information about Croatia. Breakfast was amazing, everything homemade, and they offered to prepare your own picnic lunch at breakfast. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and customer-oriented. A very special place!

Zrinka House was beyond our expectations!

Zrinka and her daughter Barbara took exceptional care of us, and made us feel like friends rather than guests! The breakfasts were fantastic, with home baked goods, eggs made to order and everything else you could want. The room was very large and comfortable, with lovely decor. The guest house is less than 10 minutes from Plitvice Lakes National Park, so very convenient. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Simply the best!

Beautiful room, grounds and breakfast, but what makes this so special is the incredibly gracious hosts. This was our second time here and Zrinka and Barbara our the best hosts one could ever ask for. A must place when visiting Plitvice!

Exceptional

Zrinka and Barbara are truly beautiful people. They both made us feel like friends from the moment we arrived. We stayed to visit Plitvice, and Zrinka House was an oasis of calm. The rooms feel like a top hotel and also welcoming and super comfortable. Our boys were delighted with their huge balcony! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, Barbara is an incredible baker. We were encouraged to pack lunch from the breakfast table, which was so welcome. As was the glass of wine offered when we returned in the evening! Both local restaurant recommendations were excellent. And when we told Barbara we were heading to Zadar next, she produced a map of the city for us! Zrinka House was an undoubted highlight of our trip to Croatia and we hope to return! Thanks so much.

Probably the best guest house we have ever stayed in. Zrinka & her daughter made us feel at home

Zrinka and her daughter went out of their way to make our stay special. From checking on tickets to the lakes park, to slices of the most delicious banana bread to take with us. We would recommend coming to Croatia just to stay here. Their recommendations to visit Hum was fantastic and made our day. Felt right at home.

Our favourite place!!

Just book this place... don't even think about it! This was mine and my husbands favourite place that we stayed at. The room and house is beautifully designed and spotless. You have everything you could need with beautiful and generous hosts and views. We were greeted with cake and coffee before being taken to our beautiful room. The breakfast was delicious and were given extra to prepare packed lunches for plitvice national park (which is also stunning)! They really go all out to cater for you and make sure you are feeling comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful, and has a couple restaurants within 5 min walking distance. My husband and I try to always visit a new country, place each time we go on holiday.. Zrinka House and Plitvice Park have us wanting to revisit Croatia just to repeat one of our fave days and stays! Thank you Zrinka and Barbara!
