The apartment was fantastic. It was very clean. It was close to a bus stop to get to Amalfi to catch ferries. It was close to a scooter rental facility and it was right next to a restaurant which was excellent. Our host Letizia was fantastic. She was very helpful and offered great information.

A must stay romantic little spot tucked away in Amalfi.
This place is very cozy and romantic. The upstairs patio allows stunning views of the ocean and of sunrise and sunset, which is rare for any location. The living room has large windows facing the patio and ocean. Bedroom is spacious, kitchen has all the necessary supplies, and the place comes with a washer, which is very convenient. We booked this in the middle of our trip on purpose because of the washer. The house itself is very romantic, is clean and recently painted. It looks well cared for, and the host is very attentive, communicating with us by phone every day to check up on our necessities. 8 days is more than enough to see Sorrento and all the must see towns along this coast. All towns are well within an hour's drive, with some towns only 15 minutes by car. You can also get to most of these towns by bus if you prefer to travel this way, but from the house to the bus stop, you have to climb about 500 steps, or walk about 3 kms along the road. The house includes a parking space, which is hard to come by in these areas. The distance from car park to house is short, but you must climb about 20 stairs to get to the house. This is actually pretty good, because going anywhere by foot in the Amalfi coast requires climbing hundreds of steep steps. If you have trouble climbing steps, this area, as well as Cinque Terre should just be avoided. Nothing is wheelchair accessible. Climbing down to the fjord looks daunting, but it took me 9 minutes. I am 56 but fit. The views on the way down are amazing, to say the least. Close by the house is 'The Path of Love', a short path offering once again more stunning views... We had 1 rain day, and had no problem at all just staying at home and enjoying this little jewel.
NOTHING.

First of all, the host it's such a nice person. The communication with her, since I made the reservation, was really easy. She talks in english (and italian) and she's fast answering to the messeges. Then, she gave me really good informations about the local area and informed me about how to get to the house (by car or public transportation). I've rent a car, and it was useful to go the house from the aeroport, and also to help me shopping or to go to places like Praiano (here it's okay to parking, even though it's paid). But don't drive to Amalfi or Positano, it's really, really hard to park and really expensive (between 2 to 6 euros per hour). The house has good location, particularly because it's between Positano and Amalfi, so you can take a public bus (Sita or Tramvia company). It's around half an hour to get there. But, be careful, because the buses in some hours arrive full of people, so the driver doesn't open the door, and then you need to wait half or even one more hour to get the next one. I suggest you to catch the bus near to Fiordo di Furore - the view it's beautiful and the buses come with less people. Furore it's also so nice because it's like a small village, here you have what you need (like coffeshop or supermarket), and it's silent and calm, to those who love to the relax and have privacy. And people from the village are nice and helpfull. The house has an interesting "architecture" - the kitchen it's downstairs, and the room upstraires. And has a small but really nice space outside where you can sit and take your breakfast while looking to the sea. The view it's amazing! The house is full equipped with everything I needed. 5* to the kitchen, it as everything you'll need to cook. I fully recommend Casa Nonno Gigi, I felt like in my own home.

We'll come back sure :)
We didn't expect any breakfast but the kitchen was equipped with all kind of tea, biscuit, even chocolate... we made also our own pasta, and we spent an unforgettable time with Letizia who is a superb host, she becomes now our friend:) despite Amalfi coast geographic nature, all roads are connected with stairs, the one in front of Casa Nono Gigi leads you down directly to the sita bus stop where you can explore the nature with best views!
Nothing, all was great
