Massive old flat that is extremely noisy from down stairs on the weekend .

We loved the location and the pub is actually a great old pub . The food is lovely fusion food and the drinks were presented well .

After we booked with no cancellation fee we were sent a message suggesting their two other properties due to the noise from the Pub on a Friday and Saturday night . We chose not to move because the other property had a shared bathroom . We stayed in The Flat . Well the flat is very flat and really needs a renovation. I love old buildings but this one needs some love .It’s a massive space with its beautiful outlook from the balcony , it could be amazing . The shower had mould on the roof , dirty shower curtain , tiles missing , a spa bath with no tap . The window in the kitchen is boarded up so you can’t see out . The noise from downstairs was next level the place actually vibrated until 230 am . I realise we booked in a pub but I had no idea that the room was above the Dj . I didn’t see anything about in the description . For $190 on a weekend it is good value if you stay out until 230 . It would suit a few blokes having a weekend away .😂

Fantastic

Very near and tidy. Lots of space and had everything needed for a night or 2 for up to 4 people.

Parking was limited and had to know where to park for long term parking safely.

I really enjoyed my all aspects of my stay and am looking forward to staying again.

Fabulous central location - cafes, eateries, and great Chinese food downstairs. Staff were friendly and welcoming; room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Fantastic Value

Staff were fantastic, they couldn't have been more helpful! The room was great and it was so convenient having an ensuite, not many pubs are able to offer that. Comfortable bed and enough space to spread out and having tea and coffee making facilities was terrific. We ate at the restaurant and like all the reviews say, the food is delicious!

Perfect location, friendly staff and comfy bed.

I had a great time at the Woolpack Hotel, the location is perfect - it was so handy to get buses to the Mamly football game and the races the next day. All the staff were so friendly and the Chinese food was delicious. I loved the live music at night, then it was so handy just to go upstairs to my room! I had so much fun 🤩

Recommended property either with or without an ensuite.

The location was very central. The feel of the place was fantastic, the staff couldn't be better. Room was big and comfy (even though we didn't have an ensuite - our choice) the bathroom was excellent and clean.

Great mid week escape .

Great location in the centre of town. Room 4 was very spacious with super comfy king bed, ensuite and kitchenette. Delicious dinner at Jumbucks downstairs in the hotel. Super tasty fusion chinese the first night and amazing mr steak on night two. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in town.

Good location. The car park is on the street in front of the hotel. Night time is good, but from 8.30 am there is only 2 hours of parking.
