Wonderful

Everything. Service was fantastic, food was lovely and I really thought the rooms and hotel were impeccable.

While the majority of the staff were fantastic, some of the newer trainees could have used more training.

Absolutely incredible

The staff were amazing from start to finish. They went over and beyond right from the moment we entered the hotel, greeting us and ensuring our staff was comfortable and we were happy. They served us a fantastic meal on the beach for our last evening and every staff member went out of their way to be super accommodating and kind

Lovely stay at Angel Beach!

Great stay at Angel Beach! The rooms are lovely, and have everything you need (including air con, fridge, and even robes and slippers!). The staff are very friendly, especially Lasitha, Chamika, Hiroshan, chef Binar, Srimal, Nilanga, and the 2 trainee guys. We stayed for 3 nights and had a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, and the food was amazing! The hotel is right on a beautiful beach, and very close to the famous ‘rope swing’ and turtle point beach. Nicest beaches we came across in Sri Lanka. The sunbeds are big and super comfy, and the pool was enjoyed. Would recommend!

No natural light in the ground floor rooms. Food/drinks pricey compared to anywhere else we’ve been in Sri Lanka but expected/worth it.

A 10/10 stay.

Wow what a perfect stay. Great relaxing location with beach and pool steps away from each other. Room was massive and so comfortable Great AC.Great check in. Plentiful breakfast so much food. Drinks a bit pricey but strong and enjoyable. A big Thankyou to the best waiter in Unawatuna, Supun, who looked after us with 5 star service and genuine hospitality and friendliness. Well done Supun.

Lo recomendaría pero solo si contratas una habitación superior

El hotel esta super bien situado, la piscina y su beach de playa es la mejor de la zona, la comida del restaurante estaba muy rica. El hotel es moderno y limpio.

Habíamos contratado una habitación normal, en lo que esperábamos fuera un hotel de lujo. El papel de la pared estaba medio arrancado, había cosas rotas, el tamaño de la habitación era minúsculo y era prácticamente una habitación interior. Nos quejamos y nos hicieron un upgrade a una habitación superior, no tenia nada que ver, era el triple de tamaño y todo estaba bien. Así que sinceramente la habitación normal no la recomendaría para nada de nada. El servicio de los camareros tanto para el desayuno como para las comidas era super lento, se olvidaban de cosas, no entendían bien el ingles... pero bueno eso nos paso en muchos de los sitios de Sri Lanka. La cama era muy muy blanda.

The Perfect Stay

This hotel is the perfect combination of a beautiful environment, excellent food, a relaxed young vibe and kind staff. In my opinion I had a perfect stay. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very big. The pool area, with the bar, good music, nice restaurant and acces to the beach is an amazing spot to completely relax and enjoy Sri Lanka weather. The staff will kindly help you to make all the excursions you want (Galle, swim with turtles,…) I would recommend this hotel to every person who visits Sri Lanka.

Amazing beach club with good music and vibes including access to a beautiful private beach. Room is beautifully furnished, great shower. Nice and helpful hotel staff.

Didn't have towels available for the pool and beach on our first day. Used our shower towels and struggled to get clean replacements. Standard Room was a bit dark, no view.

Enjoyed. But not value for money.

Good location

Beach was not good for sea bath. Sea was rough at the property. And the service was hopeless. we were not served a proper breakfast. Had to complain about the breakfast and waited more than one hour to get it. We were not happy about the service and it’s not value for money.

10x your happiness by staying here

The staff is amazing. The vibe of the place is brilliant. There is limited number of rooms and I wasn't surprised that it is usually booked. As soon as you enter the hotel/resort you start feeling good about your decision to book it. Evening live performances are the cherry on the top.

Exceptional

The place is perfect. Looks like an oasis in Unawatuna. Room is huge, bed is comfortable, food is tasty, stuff is friendly and helpful. Would recommend everyone to spend time there if you are not against loud environment.

Very loud music, we were not able to sleep normally 2 nights out of 6. High waves on local beach. Main Unawatuna beach (where it is almost always possible to swim) is 12 minutes walk.
