ubudku villas

location was close to market and shops. plenty of restaurants nearby. mattresses were firm and bathroom spacious.

the narrow lane to get to the hotel was not lighted at night. steps going up to the rooms a bit slippery when drizzling.

A good place to stay while visiting Ubud

We love the location- quite central and we can walk to many places.- Ubud Palace, markets. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very helpful and friendly staff. The pool was very pleasant to spend an hour or so after a day walking around town. We like the common area between the 2 rooms we had where we ate our breakfasts. We like that each room had a big water dispenser instead of given small bottles of water. It’s more environmentally friendly.

The signage to the villa was not visible because of all the goods that were hanging around it. There were many big steps leading up to the rooms. So if you have mobility issues this may not be a good place to stay. The rooms and bathrooms are dark because there is only one small window in each room.

I WAS ROBBED HERE!!!

This is the WORST HOTEL I have ever encountered in my entire life and even throughout my career as a travel agency owner. Starting with the fact that the hotel is difficult to find without any hints: you need to navigate through a shopping row, but no one warns you about this. Initially, the staff appears friendly. However, I WAS ROBBED HERE!!! Since there was no safe in the room, I hid all my cash in my suitcase after checking in. When I wanted to retrieve some money the next day, I discovered it was gone! I was only left with 100 euros. The management was utterly unhelpful and claimed, "We don’t know what to do." They also tried to blame the robbery on my boyfriend! They then suggested I should search the staff myself. They promised to check the cameras and get back to me by the evening, but nothing happened. They simply waited for me to check out! Furthermore, I was shocked when the next day the female owner of the hotel yelled at me, and her husband advised me to "take your cash with you next time" or "You have no video showing the crime, so you have no proof and it’s just your problem." I absolutely do not recommend this place. Moreover, the Wi-Fi is unsuitable for work, and during one of the days of my stay, the electricity kept cutting out every 3-5 minutes.

En general, una estancia bastante buena!

La comodidad de la cama, los empleados simpatiquisimos, muy serviciales. El desayuno muy bueno, te lo traen a una mesita que está pegada a tu habitación. Se está tranquilo aunque está en la calle principal. La entrada es una zapatería! Lo digo por si alguien llega y no lo encuentra! Hay netflix, aire acondicionado que funciona, agua caliente y la cama es bastante grande.

En el baño hay un olor constante a humedad, el sumidero de la ducha no traga como debería y como te des una ducha medio larga se te inunda el baño y si no te das cuenta, la habitación.

Brilliant stay in Ubud!

Beautiful villa we had a fantastic stay at. The staff were gorgeous and friendly. Fantastic location and you can’t beat the price! We were super happy and will stay again next time.

Overall a nice staying experience

The location is very strategic located at the main road of ubud, convenient, food and massage store are available outside the accommodation place. The staff was very friendly. A small but beautiful swimming pool available for swim lovers.

Electricity supply is unstable. It would be great if there were windows in the room.

I would stay again bc of its location alone

I love everything, location, AC working, bathroom have all the amenities required. I used this place as a place to sleep while I go on tours during the day. It is across street from a wonderful Radiantly Yoga studio that I frequent. Excellent value.

It’s really not the property’s fault but there was construction going on all day behind my room. No afternoon naps :(

Der staff Manager „madi“ zeigte uns den MITTELFINGER

-Das Pool war zwar kalt aber ganz okay

Strom geht mehrfach am Tag aus Der staff manager madi zeigte und den MITTELFINGER und schrie uns an weil wir das Personal 3 mal angerufen haben weil wir entweder Stromausfall hatten oder der Wasserkocher nicht funktionierte. Er Zeigte und den MITTELFINGER, zeigte kein bisschen Kompetenz und verließ unser Zimmer mit den Worten“ fuck you“ !! Sowas geht garnicht! Den sollte man aber direkt feuern ! Ich möchte das der General Manager hierzu Stellung nimmt was für Maßnahmen getan werden ! Das Hotel ist super schwer zu finden, Man übersieht es viel zu schnell. Der Eingang ist eine schmale Gasse. Der Wasserkocher funktioniert nicht so wie erwartet: Das Badezimmer stinkt extrem und wenn man die Tür zum Zimmer nicht zu macht, kommt der Geruch auch ins Zimmer Das Essen ist zwar lecker aber sie haben manche Dinge einfach nicht die auf der Karte stehen. Manchmal garnicht gewürzt und manchmal viel zu scharf, Die Rosen auf dem Bett kosten 250.000 RP extra obwohl es nicht in der Beschreibung steht Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder !

Older female solo traveler TV

Great location near to shops, pharmacy, restaurants etc. . I knew about the stairs up to accommodation so it wasn't a problem. Room was clean and well equipped. .. hairdryer , mosquito net, good A/C , refrigerator, kettle, tea and coffee..and drinking water was a great bonus. Good WhatsApp system for ordering breakfast and contacting staff. I liked having breakfast bought to my room and sitting on terrace. Good WiFi connection. Staff were friendly and asked daily if I needed room cleaning...I didn't need it..I don't change my sheets and towels daily at home. No view from actual room .but seating on terrace was good 👍

Television in room not connected..as an older lady traveling solo I don't really go out at night..but could watch YouTube on mobile

Świetna lokalizacja, tuż obok art marketu. Czysty basen, czysta łazienka.

W pokoju śmierdziało stęchlizną, ręczniki wymagały od razu do wymiany. Personel słabo mówi po angielsku.

Relax

The villa is located on the main street - 10 min walk from Ubud Palace. We stayed right at the top (room 302). The lady arranged for us good prices for all excursions, very good prices for tickets to Gilli Island. The room is clean, big. The room has a water heater, coffee, drinking water, and a refrigerator. A nice pool with sunbeds, you also get pool towels - you just say and you get it. Very, very satisfied. When the successor arrives, I will book here.

There is no closet to hang clothes. But we got along. Everything is possible if you want it 😄

Ottima posizione, staff accogliente e disponibile per tutto (pulizia della stanza ogni giorno, noleggio scooter, transfer aeroporto), zona piscina molto bella, stanza non grandissima ma con tutto ciò che serve, ottimo il dispenser di acqua in camera

La stanza è abbastanza umida e c'è un po' di muffa nella tenda della doccia. Abbiamo risolto tenendo praticamente tutto il giorno accesa la ventola e abbiamo notato che durante le pulizie lo staff ha spruzzato profumo per ambienti. Abbiamo apprezzato molto, anche se penso che per risolvere il problema andrebbe cambiata la tenda. In ogni caso i lati positivi hanno superato di gran lunga questo inconveniente

A great stay in a good location with lovely staff

The staff were incredibly lovely and welcoming when we arrived and helped us organise an early taxi to our next accomodation. Some great Warungs a short walk away and close enough to everything.

It was a bit hard to find but the shop keepers nearby help us find the entrance!

Would recommend staying for a good value and friendly stay in Ubud :)

A lovely little guest house ran by polite, friendly and helpful staff. The villa is situated just off the main street so is convenient yet quiet and safe. The staff provided us with recommendations of where to go and ensured we didn't miss out on the local Eid al-Adha celebrations happening at the local temple

The photos of the pool and rooms are very good... The pool is very small and is always in the shade (perhaps good for those wanting a break from the sun!) and the breakfast is very basic, though the stay was good enough value that it didn't really matter too much to us

A Hidden Treasure

Truly there is nothing much to fault. It was central. It's all we needed. Clean, quiet, simple. Affordable. The toilet flushes strong. They've now installed a shower curtain so the shower water doesn't wet everywhere. The pressure of the shower is strong. And a hot shower. The housekeeping boys are polite and helpful. Bed is comfy.

Small issues really: Not for those who have mobility issues. There are steps - and some high steps - everywhere. You won't be able to see the villa - it's through a small lane next to M mart and across the road from Candy Waffle. No cupboard but a small hanging space. Not for the claustrophobic - only a small window opening.

Great and helpful staff since first day. These guys helped me with baggage, changed towels whenever I wanted and were extremely kind. Normally, breakfast are served 7-11 AM but almost every day we had to leave the room before 7 AM because we went sightseeing or sunrise, so normally we would lose breakfast - but Staff was very helpful and they made meals before or after we leave and left these meals inside the room. Good value for the price, helpful Staff, clean inside, great location on main street in Ubud. I can recommend that hotel as a "base" for your trips on Bali. 10/10
