About this cottage rental

Ethan's Lake house is a newly remolded non smoking cottage with granite counter tops, hardwood flooring, many new appliances including dishwasher central air .This cottage has one bedroom with a full size bed . The second bedroom has bunk beds with twin over full.Living room has a comfy leather couch .There is a covered patio and plenty of outside seating fire pit and a grill.There are linens and towels provided.Fully furnished Kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster , stove , fridge and dishwasher. Internet and internet tv provided .This cozy cottages is in a quiet location that is within walking distance to all of the Geneva on the lake attractions .Great for larger groups when paired with Kenzie's Sand Castle. We are located across the street from Lake Erie and just east of the Geneva Lodge. and six miles from the Spire sports complex
You can walk two different wineries or catch the lodge winery tour bus just across the street.

I stayed at this cute cottage on a weekend trip with friends. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The location of the cottage was central and we were able to walk to everything. David and his wife were very helpful and kind. I would stay here again in the future. Thank you

We did a girls trip for me and four friends. Everything about this stay was amazing. Booking, checking in, communicating with the host, cleanliness, amenities… all nothing short of perfect for our weekend getaway! I would definitely book again!

Updated nicely. Nice covered porch with picnic table and fire pit. Glad there's no carpet. Good to have a dishwasher versus many of the cottages. Really needs new windows and blinds don't cover well. It's a bit of a walk from the gravel lot to the cottage, but flat and paved. Electric went out over night for us and the 2 other cottages that share circuit. Owner resolved the next day.

Came for a friend's wedding at The Lodge. This property was perfect. Very cute cottage, and literally across the street from The Lodge so it made the weekend so easy to walk back and forth from wedding events. Also happily surprised that the shower had great water pressure and no shortage of hot water. The host reached out the morning of check-in to ensure we had everything we needed, so I greatly appreciated the open communication. Would highly recommend and would gladly stay here again in the future.

What a great property! This cottage was clean and decorated so cute!! Had everything we needed (linens, towels, trash bags, even bathroom spray, lol!) Our family usually drove to the strip but it is walkable. We met the owners, what great people! The picnic table with umbrella, firepit, six Adirondack chairs, charcoal grill and porch swing just added even more perfection to this adorable cottage. I would highly recommend Ethan's Cottage for a couple or family of four.

We enjoyed our stay at Ethan’s Lake House. I traveled with my two children ages 10 and 12 plus my sister and her 2 kids ages 9 and 6. The cottage decorations are very nice and unique we LOVE the look of the appliances which were also functional. The bathroom is spacious and also updated. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed the walk to the Strip and the short drive to the beach access. The courtyard fire pit was a nice bonus too! We would recommend this location and plan to return next year!

Such a cute cottage!

We booked the cottage for my daughter's bachelorette getaway and it was perfect! We loved all of the cute decor and homie feeling of it as soon as we arrived! The owners were very friendly and helpful during our stay. It is with walking distance of Adventure Zone and the strip, even though we drove to the strip most of the time. We enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit at night and playing games. If you're looking for a great place to stay, you've found it!

Just What We Wanted

Ethan’s cottage was everything we wanted. It is updated with a nautical decor, warm comfortable feeling and perfect size for my husband and I. We especially enjoyed the location and the ability to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Bike path jogs, sunset walks with ice cream, and the state park all to the west. To the East we were able to enjoy music, wine, drinks and shopping. At the cottage, we were able to enjoy the quiet patio to play cards, relax and have a fire. We would definitely return again. Thank You for an enjoyable stay.

We were comfortable in the beach cottage and loved how it was decorated. We were very comfortable and the location was walking distance to many things and close to the state park. The neighbors in next cottage did get a little loud late at night over weekend but the rest of the nights were quiet. Would recommend staying here.

Stay was great. Few suggestions for people staying a week: access to more clean towels, add few cleaning supplies, An extra paper towel roll and more than 1 extra roll of toilet paper. We also were not expecting a small fridge. Also make sure there is soap in dispensers. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Ethans Lakehouse was the perfect place to spend a couple of days and get away. The location was excellent and the short walk to the strip helps you not feel so bad about all the Madsen Donuts that will inevitably be eaten. It was also not too far from some really fantastic wineries.

We rented side-by-side cottages, Kenzie for our parents, and Ethan for us and the dogs. Ethan was the perfect size for 2 couples and our 2 dogs. We were all able to have breakfast inside, share the small bathroom, and watch a movie together in this little cabin. Nice to have 2 separate bedrooms. We spent most of our time outside around the fire and grill. It was great having our parents next door and they enjoyed having their own space. We were walking distance from the beach and the strip and had a lot of fun. Overall, very nicely kept cottage, good location, friendly and accommodating owners. Always appreciate dog-friendly rentals, so thank you!

We had a great time at Ethan's lake house. Small but cozy and very well outfitted. They've really put time into making sure you have everything you need. Super clean and the owners were so nice! They didn't intrude but let us know that if we needed anything just to let them know. It was fun hearing about the history of the cottages from them!

Great cottage; great location and great weather! Convenient location to enjoy all that Geneva area has to offer! Walking distance to Geneva Lodge to take in the amazing sunsets; easy drive around the country-side to the many wineries and covered bridges! Lots of family activities, for all ages, along the strip. Checked out the shops at Ashtabula's Harbor! Our cottage was great! Beautifully decorated inside! We also liked that we didn't have to bring our own linens and towels! Each cottage comes with their own grill and fire pit - which we used every day! We really enjoyed meeting our hosts, Joann and David! They were working hard remodeling the cottage next to our's in order to get it ready for guest coming the day we left. They were very conscientious of the noise and scheduled the type of work they needed to do around when we were/were not at the cottage! Had a great time visiting with them! Our time there went fast! Look forward to coming back!

The cottage was a perfect home base for us for a beach weekend. Small but clean and nicely renovated. Walking distance to the main strip and lodge. We made the two minute drive to the beach, but if we didn't have small kids it would have been an easy bike ride.

This house is in the perfect location! Easy walk to the strip but far enough away that it’s great for quiet sleep. The house is perfect, clean and totally adorable. It has everything you could need as well. The owners were wonderful and very attentive. We would absolutely recommend this place and will no doubt be renting with David and JoAnn again!
