My mom and I came from TN for a wedding in Madison. This place was a great place and just about 20 minutes from the wedding and family. There is a park across the road with great views of the lake. The house is clean and stocked with everything needed for a get away. The only downfalls were the stair case is steep so it might be difficult for some and the parking has signs but some are missing so parking might be tight during the busy season. Overall, great place and I would stay there again.

We were in town for the Buckeye PVA Wheelchair Games at the Spire Institute, this property was the best fit for that we needed. Not only was it close (15 minutes) but it had amazing views and a great amount of parks within walking distance for my son to enjoy. Thank you for providing such an amazing venue for my first adventure to GOTL.

We traveled with our two adult children and their sig others, plus the family pet. This rental was the perfect size, as we were really only there to eat breakfast and sleep. It had everything we needed in every space! It’s nice now that there is the small market just down from the house at the fork in the road in case you forget an essential or want snack or something to throw in the microwave. If not, the camp store at the camp ground is just a short drive too.
The only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars on cleanliness is because the dishwasher wasn’t emptied of the clean dishes from a prior stay. Not an inconvenience whatsoever. At least we knew they were clean!
If you are traveling with a pet, just be advised there is little potty space on the property, but there is a very large park just across the street with plenty of room to roam (take your own baggies).
We typically bring our camper there to Indian Creek, but for the price, location and amenities, we will most definitely consider booking this spot again!

Nice little cottage with plenty of room. Lots of amenities. Adjacent to many activities. Sofa bed was in poor condition and the washer/dryer was not working. Floors could have been cleaner. Beds we’re comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again.

The entire house had spiders and they weren’t small I had a two yr old with me who we sprayed with off to go in! Daughter and I both covered (5-8 each) bites! Tried to contact someone got nothing Also washer was broken no warning water everywhere cleaned the floor with every towel since we set the washer and left then had to tak ur towels to the laundry and pay since we still couldn’t contact no one been home since Thursday with a promise to call and nothing yet!

This was the perfect location within walking distance to the strip. Very cute cottage and the front porch was great to sit out on and enjoy the scenery and mingle with people who walk by . Would definitely stay here again .

Having read a bad review after booking the cabin was a little worried as the place may not be as listed. However, we were pleasantly surprise. The cabin was very neat and clean. There was NO dog hair and did not smell of dog. A beautiful kitchen and bathroom very spa like. Yes, we did have a mid size dog with us and he loved it also.

This is on the main road so place is very loud on weekends with motorcycles and traffic. Window AC units also make it loud for sleeping.
2 upstairs beds are so basic that when you roll you feel the inside springs, sleeping was so hard on these uncomfortable very basic double beds. No doors upstairs it is 2 beds on each side of the steps.
Because the place is pet friendly it is not very clean. They had to come in the first day to clean the sofa because it stunk and had a ton of dog hair/dander all over it. The kitchen chairs seat cushions were filthy and all torn. It was hard to feel comfortable sitting anywhere you felt dirty sitting. I had to sweep the stairway and all the floors when I got there and dumped out two trays of dirt and dog hair. I have never left a bad review in my life and have stayed many places. I reached out on the two phone numbers the day after we left with pics and a video of the dirt and heard nothing back. I want the cleaning fee refunded because the first day was very stressful and upsetting walking into this mess and never even received a response back. The place has been renovated and is super cute-kitchen and bath are nice and stocked. If above issues fixed it would be a nice place.

My friends and I had a great time staying at this house. Check in was easy and the place was well stocked with supplies and clean. The location was great as well!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was an easy walk to everything on the strip and a super close walk to a playground, which was great for our son. The house was very comfortable with all of the amenities you could need.

We didn’t spend much time in the house. Bathroom was very nice but only had a partial roll of toilet paper.
It only had a small couch and no other chairs in the living room. The pictures showed chairs on the front porch which would have been nice but there weren’t any. Cleaning wasn’t as thorough as we would have expected but it wasn’t bad.
Very convenient location for walking to the park or to the main drag. Street was quiet which was a plus.

We had such a great time this weekend at GOTL! Aside from the door code not working right away, the property manager did give us the correct 4 not 6 digit code as soon as when we called though, we had a wonderful time!!!! We will definitely book again if we come back!!!!

We wanted a couple of days not far from home to enjoy ourselves. This place is right next to the strip and would be a great place to stay when it's all open. For us in April, not much was open, but we had a fabulous time. Nice deck in the front and everything you need for a nice stay.

Work is work. No time for fun

We stayed just after the crazy blizzard at Christmas. The host was very accommodating with the weather being what it was. There was housekeeping staff on site to make sure the steps were salted and that we were able to access the cabin. A very peaceful place to spend time with the family and our furry friends!

Very nice and clean. Had a great time

When we arrived, front door had been deadlocked and had to go around to side door once I called company. Not too big of a deal but front porch was full of grass clippings and a huge spiderweb with spider in doorframe!
Once inside the smell of dog hit you immediately and although we had planned to take our dogs and did not the smell was still pretty strong. Thank goodness we took candles!
The location isn’t the best. Overall, we wouldn’t book here again. For the cost of the trip we expected a little more.

Cons:
I was confused on what the cleaning fee I was charge was for.
What’s the cleaning fee for me having to load the dishwasher?
What is the cleaning fee for me having to take out the trash?
What is the cleaning fee for me having to strip the bedding down?
Did the cleaning fee not cover cleaning off the wood trim on the chairs where you sit? They had hair all around them?
Did the cleaning fee not cover the floor being swept the floor had hair on it and crumbs?
I just felt if I was being charged a cleaning fee the things I was asked to do before leaving should not have been so. And the house should’ve been cleaner than what it was if professional cleaners coming in after guest leave.
There were no condiments to use
The living room is not really a comfortable all sitting arrangement
There were cops everywhere constantly, which gave a feel that the neighborhood was not safe.
Pro:
The house overall did look like the pictures
When we had a problem with the pass code, not locking the door management answered my car right away and gave me clear direction of what to do.
The parking spot for the house is close to the back door.
The house looks newly remodeled
The bathroom is beautiful
The hot water truly gets hot
there were plenty of towels in the bathroom

Our family has visited GOTL for years. This year we decided to attend D-Day at Conneaut also, which is only a half hour down the road. The house was so cute and spacious enough for my kids, 3 of which are teens. It's just a walk away from the strip and there is a cute little park with a playground and benches along the lake right across the street. We would definitely book this property again!

Beautiful home , the large and wonderfully stocked kitchen was so awesome . The front porch was enjoyable to sit and watch activity , also the big shower was nice . We loved the access to the beautiful Geneva township park for the kiddos and dog walking the fire pit was a evening treat. The minor negative things maybe twin beds upstairs and a 1/2 bath, the house was so beautiful but the full time residents homes were a bit neglected impairing the overalll sight . Thanks for a wonderful time
