Dirty, and smelly. Definitely not a 4 star establishment

The only good thing was the location

I rarely write reviews but on this occasion, I feel I need to warn others not to stay here after choosing this place based on all the good reviews. This place is very old and not looked after, and is in serious need of refurbishment. The room was very dusty in places and clearly had not been deep cleaned for a while. We went to use the toaster one morning and it was covered with dust. The room did not smell fresh at all and the toilet stunk of urine. Despite complaining to reception, nothing was done about it, with only an apology upon check out. This is definitely not a 4 star establishment and not worth the money we paid. We would not recommend this apart-hotel and would not stay here again.

Great family stay in the center of Arcachon

fantastic location overseeing the open market and less than 10 min walk from the sea. the apartment was very spacious for the 5 of us with a large balcony covering 2 sides of the apartment. very comfortable beds.

a parking included would be a big plus but we had no problem parking on the street as outside holidays

Fantastic! Will stay again!

It was a central location, close to beach. large parking area underneath. I paid for a double room and was put in a suite with absolutely everything! pity I wasn’t staying longer as I would have got better use of it!

The parking was a bit confusing but the cost €20 for 24hr. I thought it was included in accommodation but for 24hr was good!

Very good

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Arcachon and staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard, although the kitchen area is not cleaned as part of daily house keeping. Market was on most days during our stay. We did not notice the noise during our stay.

The parking situation is not ideal, especially during market days. We were sent two different instructions for arrival, but thankfully the staff were very helpful in guiding us via phone. Once unloaded, it was not too difficult and car park entrance is very close to the hotel. I suppose to be forgiven considering the central location. Parking needs to be booked in advanced and you get a dedicated parking spot in a private parking area of the public car park. The rooms were a little dated and could use some modernisation. The onsuite bathroom, did not have a toilet and only a shower. There was only one toilet in our 2 bedroom exec room, despite having 3 "bathrooms, which made little sense.

very comfortable apartment hotel in the heart of Arcachon. Wonderful friendly staff, good breakfast, everything works convenient kitchenette. High quality a/c that could cope with 38 C ! Good wifi. very central and only 2-3 minutes’ walk to the beach

nothing really. if driving you need to factor in that there is no free parking. we got a weekly ticket for 75 Euros

Superb

Great location. Apartment with large enough terrace to dine out on occasion. This is our third visit to Residhome Arcachon Plazza. Beautiful Town and the Residholme is in the centre of lovely shopping district, on the market square and close to the beach and train station for trips to Bordeaux. The staff are very helpful and we would highly recommend. A little luxury to remember.... Thank you Marc, Marion and Sebastian :-)

Absolutely nothing and that was despite the extraordinary heatwave and sadly the fires in the Gironde area which caused cloud and ash on one of our days there.

everything about this property was excellent. we had 2 rooms on the 5th floor which included 4 balconies! we were a family of 5 and had plenty of space.
