L’accueil est majestueux, les petits déjeuners délicieux, le lieu est absolument magnifique et reposant. Un havre de paix dans notre séjour merci pour tout !

Je kon de dag van te voren aangeven wat je voor het ontbijt wilde hebben en welke tijd. De volgende dag werd het ontbijt op ons terras gebracht, echt heel luxe met uitzicht op de baai en zee. Carla, de gastvrouw, is heel erg gastvrij en behulpzaam. Ze heeft ons geholpen met het uitzoeken van de bussen en de ferries naar Positano. Je kunt van de accommodatie binnen 10 minuten naar het centrum van Scala lopen (we hebben wel de auto bij de ingang neer gezet, want van de ingang naar ons appartement was toch nog wel een hele klim). De auto parkeren in Amalfi of Positano is geen optie, maar ook de bussen zijn heel erg druk, zeker als iedereen weer terug wil.
ik kan zo snel niets bedenken wat met de accommodatie te maken heeft. Wel stonden wij even te kijken wat een strandbedje in Positano kost, €46,- per persoon vonden wij teveel voor 2 uurtjes.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Außenanlage waren sehr sauber und wunderschön. Die Betreiber und das Personal sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Verständigung auf englisch (und natürlich italienisch) funktioniert sehr gut.
War für uns kein Problem! Das Areal ist sehr weitläufig und teilweise steil. Wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist, könnte es problematisch sein.

beautiful quiet location, great views from our balcony and the perfect escape from the busy Amalfi coast. jacuzzi was right outside the apartment.
could have had provided separate beach towels as we didn’t have enough for showers and the pool. Didn’t realise the pool was in the hotel next door and due to our apartment being quite far away from the entrance we had to drive there.

Great location! Non-touristy with fantastic local restaurants. Carla was the most welcoming and accommodating host. Stayed in touch with us throughout our stay by offering recommendations when requested and going the extra mile to assure we had a pleasant stay. Will absolutely be staying again!

No dishwasher. Pool is at another hotel premises, 5min walk from the appartment and closed by 8-ish, so you cannot return at 10pm and go to the pool :) All stores and. Restaurants around are more or less closed between 14 to 17 o'clock.

We loved the accommodation: good quality bedroom with comfortable bed, upmarket bathroom and spacious terrace. Quiet surroundings. Jacuzzi spa was fun, with lovely views over to Ravello. Host Carla was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Great housekeeping. Convenient car parking close to room.
NB: “Via Acquabona 4” is the pedestrian address reached by steps down from Scala. If you’re arriving by car, put “Via Lama di Priso” in your satnav and you’ll reach the electric gate for Villa Sant’ Alfonso which is signposted. You’ll need to pre-arrange this with Carla, who will meet you at the gate.
Quite a lot of walking was needed to get up to Scala or to the swimming pool; walking to/from Ravello took 25 mins and walking down to Amalfi town took around an hour and walking back up an extra 25 mins - take comfy shoes!
The complimentary breakfast at a cafe in Scala wasn’t anything to write home about, and was a bit of palaver to get to if you were then going down to Amalfi (in the opposite direction). Better to bring your own cafetière/coffee and breakfast items and eat at the table on the terrace.

Breakfast at the local cafe was great, very nice locals . We ate at their restaurant most days, really good food and a great family. Carla is amazing , friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. She helped us many times, great property and amazing view.

We loved staying at Villa Sant'Alfonso! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Also you are high up away from the hustle and bustle of tourists in town. Carla was very welcoming. Overall we would still recommend this to a friend
Our only complaints were the breakfast was a bit different than expected (was just a small bakery in town, so really only a croissant and coffee not anything hot also FYI seems it was closed on Sunday AM for mass), and the location was a tad difficult to get to - not really their fault but we didn't realize driving in and out of Amalfi would be quite a chore.

the view of mountains and town of Ravello, the location is away from hustle and bustle of Amalfi.
Due to bus accident, the bus service was not available in Scala to reach Amalfi which was a bit inconvenience to walk down to Amalfi as taxi was 50€ each way. It would have been nicer if the property shares the pool services with Villa Sant Lorenzo as it is closer and much nicer.

It was very private and secure with good views; Carla was a very helpful host.
We are elderly and the 166 deep and steep steps up to the village was killing. The alternative was a walk up the steep drive doubling the distance. You really need some form of transport to stay here. The village taxi fares are a total rip off approximately €10 per mile

Carla the Host was very helpful, she answered all questions and gave us practical tips. The apartment was very clean, spacious and air conditioning. Kitchen was very well equipped. We could use Jacuzzi and the swimming pool in the near hotel. We can recommend it for 100%. The location is also perfect- very close to Amalfi and 1h from Positano.
The apartment is located far form the bus and uphill so you should have a car to get to the swimming pool or a shop, instead you must walk up in the heat ( during the summer) so it makes it quite hard.

Superb property and host! Carla was helping us already before arriving to the property and was genius kind and nice all the time, she is also super strong, by helping with luggage :) (Scala mountain area.., and she did it all by her own).
Villa has good cooperation with professional scooter rental what definitely makes guests way up and down in Scala and further ways on mountains much easier.
Rooms are very nice, and sound proof. Our absolute favourite was outdoor Jacuzzi which was available 24/7.
Property is very beautiful and a true gem in Scala.
Pool is in villa cooperation property, but be aware - if you don't rent a scooter or don't come by own/rented car, it will be always a tough walk up to there whenever you wanna get a swim.
But who needs a pool when you have relaxing Jacuzzi in property and 20 minutes ride away swim in blue waters of Amalfi coast! :)

The easiest way to sum up our stay is that we absolutely fell in love with Villa Sant Alfonso and Scala. It was the perfect break after having been in the busy city life in Naples, and everything was above our expectations. The room is lovely, and had everything we needed, the pool was also very nice and definitely worth the small hike up the hill. Most of all, Carla was a super lovely host, and we also had two great nights at the local bar/resturant where we had some delicious pizza and lovely chats with the resturant owner. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, thank you!

Realy nice location, in the valley between Scala and Ravalo. Plenty of local points of interest in near distance as well as with bit of driving. At the property, just few steps from the room is nice large jacuzzi, which is available for guests at any time. I think this was the main "selling" point for me. And we really enjoy the evening/night dips in the bubbles. Also what I found great is the free parking just next to your room. Not so many places have this kind of comfort on the Amalfi coast area. And of course Carla. Carla was amazing and took great care of us. Helping, explaining, forwarding us necessary info ... Thank you for that.
If we have to mention something. it will be the "distances". For the real swimming pool, you actually need to do small hike, it is part of the next door Villa/hotel, but you need to climb the hill (i guess around 0.5km). So we just tried that pool once. I am sorry, but I think I missed that in the property description on booking.com and I did assumed that it is part of the property. Same goes for the breakfast place, it is also outside the property in nearby town (also around 0.8km) at their local Patisserie Cafe. On the other hand people running the cafe are very attentive and were able to prepare everything we asked for. I am sorry if I missed that in the property description. But probably it won't change my decision to come again.

A beautiful view from our private terrace with lovely seasonal flowers and vibes growing around. The apartment is equipped with what you need for an easy stay and was perfect for our young family. Carla was a wonderful host to us, diligent with answering questions and being so helpful. We wanted to stay longer but our apartment was already booked again! Lovely, clean, beautiful view, a respite from the craziness of the busy coast.
