Gated Ridgetop Home with stunning dual shore views. The East End Overlook Main House features 4 bedrooms; 3 bathrooms; a private pool; and multiple decks with mountain, ocean and beach views.
The poolside has a view of the famous Contessa’s Castle on the adjacent hilltop and is within a 3 minute drive to 3 beaches, the Island casino, the Divi Resort, and several restaurants.
Wake up each morning to the unsurpassed beauty of the island’s turquoise waters. Swim in your private pool or drive down the hill to one of 3 pristine beaches. Become a poolside chef with the giant gourmet grill or dine out, at one of several local restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Really beautiful location! Great host! Matt was super responsive and met us at airport and waited while we went grocery shopping. He brought coffee when we ran out and provided towels, chairs, coolers, Bluetooth speaker, and snorkel gear. Loved how close a couple of the beaches were! There were also condiments at the house which was convenient. Don’t buy syrup! LoL. A couple of outlets did not work as they are upgrading and the hot water in one shower did not work for a couple days but the other showers worked. The beds and linens were all very comfy. Plenty of space to hang! We highly suggest this location! Loved Ziggys and Dugans Reef and Castaways. All very close!

Short answer, we can’t wait to return and will stay at here again! Super good communication with Matt (host) and such a beautiful excellent property. We wouldn’t have changed a thing. He came and met us at the airport and led us back to the property (we had rental cars) since GPS isn’t the greatest on the island. He had cold air conditioning (whole house) and additional units in bedrooms. He had a very convenient and delicious ice maker and a water dispenser with very good tasting and refreshing water. Highly recommend and will stay again!!!

Absolutely beautiful location and views. Truly paradise. Tons of space in the common areas with a large northeast facing deck and southwestern facing patio with a great pool. Sliding doors to the patio and pool securely lock, which was important traveling with our infant and toddler. Very clean. Has tons of cooking essentials which is super helpful. Also has a highchair which was great for our infant. Matt was great to work with. Attentive and available as needed. I would hdefinitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again!

The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. The house was the best equipped I have ever stayed in from the kitchen amenities to pool and beach toys to new yoga mats. It has a great open layout. Really has only 3 legitimate bedrooms as the 4th, which is an office with a bed on one wall, has no drawers or closet or bedside table and lamp. The furnishings in the house were quite tired and frayed and largely a mishmash of styles. The throw rugs were scary in terms of what germs might be in them.
We worked around the inconveniences and had a wonderful time.

House had beautiful views and a nice pool. Appreciate the pool floats. Location is very private except the owner does stay on the property in the cottage next to the house. There were some things that were good and some things not so good. Sliding doors kept getting stuck. Never could lock the master bedroom slider. Ice machine stopped working after a day, pans to cook with were poor, and the house needed a good cleaning. One guest said the electric outlets didn’t work in her bedroom/bath. (Take your own hairdryer-the ones there are not great) I didn’t go on vacation to clean. Nice area to stay at, close to all we wanted to do, and the ocean breeze made it a joy to be outside. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants. If the house had been clean I would have given a higher ranking. No pillow protectors which grossed us out. We did enjoy coming back to STX, we owned a home there for a few years so I understand the challenges of island living, and probably couldn’t rent to people- that takes guts. All and all, it could have been a perfect place, just needs some maintenance and attention to things that matter to guests.

We spent a wonderful 3 months here. The house is even better than the pictures. Celeste and Matt were always right there if we needed anything. The views are breathtaking. We truly hated to leave.

Perfect!
We were on the island for a wedding. We had 3 couples and another family member. The house was perfect. Each room was private, beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed and more. Views were spectacular. The hosts were very accommodating, helped guide us to the house, responded when we needed something and respectful of our privacy. Lovely trip. We highly recommend Matt & Celeste’s home.

Beautiful house, cool ocean breeze and friendly hosts
The house was beautiful. It had a large living area and kitchen and 4 nice size bed rooms. The living area had large sliding windows that allowed the ocean breeze to cool the house. In the evening there were ac units in every room. The swimming pool was perfect for days that you wanted to spend at home with the family.

Matt met us at the airport and showed us where the store was and then to the estate. The home was beautiful with all the amenities. I would recommend this to anyone. We had a great time with friends and renew our 20yr vows on a beach nearby. Thanks again for making our stay great!

Amazing views in all directions!!
This was by far the best vacation ever!! The home, views, and owners were the best!! Matt was very friendly and accommodating. Home was spacious, clean and had everything we needed!! Coffee on the deck was breathe taking at sunrise and the castle view on pool side was just as beautiful!! Matt is also a talented artist so we enjoyed all his art work displayed in the home. The home is right near several beaches and restaurants. We loved the wings from castaways and the burgers from cheeseburger in Americas paradise!!!
Do not hesitate to book this property you will not regret it!!! St Croix was one of the friendliest places we have ever visted. We will definitely be back and will be booking with Matt and Celeste for sure!!

Matt and Celeste were incredibly hospitable, and they’re space was unparalleled. With gorgeous views on either side of the home, an incredible kitchen and grill setup, and comfortable and spacious accommodations, we felt right at home and hardly wanted to leave the house. We went with 3 couples and already have plans to make the Grapetree house an annual trip. So so memorable!

Absolutely magnificent
Just an amazing home. I hesitate to tell how great this place is because we are going back and we fear it will become too popular... views to die for, extremely comfortable, great hosts, all you could ever want in a vacation home. The pictures don’t do justice, the grill is amazing, you can spend hours on the decks, the pool is perfect for keeping cool, the garden is a great touch. And did I mention the views? Hosts were nearby and available, extremely helpful and genuinely nice and welcoming. All the highest grades given.

Perfect family vacation home
This was our family's first trip to St. Croix and we were incredibly impressed with the property... comfortable furnishings, close to the beach, quiet neighborhood, fully stocked home/kitchen, and beyond beautiful views! Our hosts were equally incredible! Matt even met us at the airport in order to lead us to the local grocery store and then to the property. He was available for all of our questions and had great suggestions for touring around the island. If this property is available, book now, you will love it!!!

Amazing House For Relaxing
The house was absolutely amazing! It was even better than we were expecting. Matt and Celeste were wonderful hosts. They did everything they could to help our stay be comfortable and relaxing. The views from the balconies were spectacular, the pool was very nice and relaxing and all the amenities were everything we needed. We are very much looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Happiness @ the East End Overlook!
This property was absolute bliss, our views overlooked the beautiful turquoise waters! Matt & Celeste were probably the most accommodating host I’ve ever dealt with! They even met us at the airport to show us where the property was. The house is fully equipped with everything from beach/pool accessories to kitchen needs! Everyone in our group was more than comfortable and enjoyed their stay! Also wonderful that the beach was a short 3-5 min drive. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Perfection on the East End!
Our expectations were very high before we arrived and Celeste's property did not disappoint. There is simply not enough space to write how much we loved our stay. If we had to choose a few highlights they would be:
Views - on both sides of the house were simply breathtaking. We each found our favorite spot (mine was the lower deck where I could watch the sea gulls) and spend days listening to music and reading.
On-site caretaker - Celeste's sister and brother-in-law live on-site in a small cottage and were absolutely wonderful from escorting us from the airport to the house and answering all of our questions about the house and local beaches. Really, really nice people.
House - large, clean, well-stocked kitchen (just like home, seriously) and lots of privacy for our party of 7. And the beds were the most comfortable any of us have ever slept on. The pool was a must-have when it gets hot and was a great size and had views of its own. Windows on both sides of the house allowed for cooling breezes to flow throughout the house. We only used A/C in the bedrooms at night.
Location - The East End is a dryer and less-populated than the Christiansted and West side of the islands but it is our favorite. Super quiet with lovely beaches and good restaurants.
Overall, a wonderful visit and we feel fortunate to have spent time in this house. I would stay here again without reservation or hesitation. Thank you!

Our experience with Matt & Celeste’s property in Grapetree was nothing short of amazing. While they were not there, their friend Reine was and she was fabulous! The property is well maintained and has everything you could need away from home. We will most definitely be back!

Wonderful location!
The property is beautiful - gorgeous views in each direction from the top of the ridge. The East End location provides quiet and privacy while still close to a number of restaurants on the water. Christiansted is 20 minutes away. The house is spacious and comfortable. We were very pleased with both the property and the Easr End.

Fantastic Location and Great Hosts
The property and communication was perfect. There was an issue with the electricity in one bathroom, which was a bit tricky at night, but Celeste and Matt did all they could to lessen the impact for us. Great spot for families, with room for everyone to have their own space and their down time.

A delightful home
We would like to thank Celeste and Matt for making our stay in their lovely home such a pleasant experience. The villa had just about anything anyone would want and was very comfortable and enjoyable. They met us at the airport, guided us to the grocery store and then on to the villa, which is service above and beyond. The views were fantastic and Matt and Celeste were very accommodating and personable. They are pros at making visitors feel comfortable not only in their home but on the island as well, providing so much information as where to eat and where to visit. Thank you both!

2019 Vacation in St. Croix
Matt and Celeste's home was gorgeous! They thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. The views are spectacular from every side. We loved the pool and the massive outdoor grill. They met us at the airport and we stopped at the grocery store on the way to the house. Then on the day we left, Matt took us back to the airport. This was very helpful because we had stuff for 8 people, including a baby. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. It was so private and almost secluded. It was exactly what we were looking for!
