Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Die Ferienwohnung ist im Obergeschoss in einem Haus, dass in einem parkähnlichen Garten steht. Parken kann man auf dem Gelände. Zur Wohnung gehören 2 Terassen, so kann man immer entscheiden, ob man in der Sonne oder im Schatten sitzen will. Die Küche läßt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist alles da, was man zum Kochen braucht. Auch Handtücher sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Lage ist perfekt. 200m zum Strand. Falls man kein Frühstück machen will, gibt es ein Cafe in ca. 500 m Entfernung. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett. Sie gibt viele Tipps bzgl. Einkaufen, Essen gehen,….

We loved this apartment - probably one of the best we've stayed in. 100% recommend

Our host stayed up late to meet us as our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until after midnight. She had already set up the cot for us and left bottles of water in the fridge. Kitchen was excellent with all the equipment you need plus coffee for the coffee machine. The bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms excellent. The terrace is absolutely wonderful with space to eat and relax. The apartment is very close to the beach - just a couple of minutes walk. Aircon in all rooms which was great as it was quite warm in the night. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Soap in the bathrooms. Enough toilet paper. The apartment had a washing machine which was brilliant for us with small kids and sandy clothes!

There was some noise in the evening from nearby apartments but it wasn't too bad and only on a couple of nights - everything else was great.

Sicilië veel te bekijken en zeker de moeite waard .

De ligging.

Versleten meubels, geen gordijnen woonkamer , parkeren erg lastig voor in en uit te rijden. Buitenbalkon in de middag in de schaduw .

Fantastic property on a fantastic location.

The location, the size, the look. Absolutely fantastic property on an amazing location a stone throw from Palermo.

Some of the fixtures finishes are a bit soft / loose so one has to be very gentle whilst using them. A small thing tbh.

Un très bon choix en famille

Mondello est une base très agréable pour visiter Palerme et la partie Ouest quand on dispose d’une voiture, surtout en famille. Il y a un bus pour Palerme qui doit être bien pratique mais qui était malheureusement en grève lors de notre visite. L’appartement est à deux pas de la plage qui est superbe, dans un environnement calme et très agréable avec de belles demeures. Restaurants proches. Supermarchés accessibles à quelques minutes en voiture. Décoration soignée, bien équipé. Terrasse agréable pour un petit déjeuner ensoleillé avec une jolie vue sur les jardins de la maison et une belle falaise. Parking privé. Très bon accueil de Silvana.

S’agissant d’un appartement familial, il manque tout de même un petit lave-vaisselle. Notamment afin que la qualité du nettoyage de la vaisselle ne dépende pas du soin apporté (ou pas !) par les occupants précédents…

Excellent accomodation. Perfect for 2 couples. Well appointed ammenities and host was wonderful.

Great location, walkable to beach. A great set up for 2 couples with the 2 bedroom and 2 bath configuration. Well appointed kitchen, with dining and cozy sitting area. Really nice outdoor dining and sitting space on terrace with great mountain views. The host was prompt to meet us, answered any of our questions, very kind and gracious. Would recommend 'My Home in Mondello' for visiting Mondello Beach in Palermo.

Grocery stores a bit far, but property included space for parking of our rental car. You do have to be comfortable with navigating car in a tight space and driveway.

Silvana ist eine freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Ihre Unterkunft ist einzigartig: Vollständig ausgestattet; mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet; von ihrem Balkon blickt man auf einen professionell bepflanzten einzigartig schönen Garten mit Palmen und Kakteen; die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut. Wir können nur jedem, der Mondello besucht, diese einzigartige Wohlfühlunterkunft ans Herz legen! Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Mondello sind, gibt es nur eine Unterkunft, die wir buchen werden: Silvanas Unterkunft!

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Es war perfekt! Lediglich zur Info: Wenn möglich sollte man den Einkauf mit einem Auto erledigen, da der nächste Supermarkt fußläufig 25 Minuten entfernt ist. Silvana bietet jedoch an, ein privates Taxi zu bestellen, welches einen für einen fairen Preis transportiert.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt im ersten Stock mit Blick auf den sehr schönen Garten der Besitzer.

Wer die Koffer nicht in den ersten Stock tragen kann, für den dürfte es schwierig werden.

Relax allo stato puro

La struttura è mooolto accogliente, gli spazi divisi in modo impeccabile, arredamento moderno, climatizzatori in ogni stanza. Il terrazzino è una vera chicca che permette di godere pasti all’aperto e serate piacevoli. A due passi dal mare e dai negozi di prima necessità. Non manca davvero nulla.

Excellent host, great kitchen facilties, very clean and comfortable. The host has thought of every little detail to make it such a great stay. Lovely terrace area to relax - felt like home from home.

everything was wonderful

The villa surrounded by lush vegetation is located in the most exclusive area of Mondello, just a few minutes' walk from the town's superb beach. The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, furnished outdoor terrace. The decorations are tasteful and benefit of the vibrant colors of Sicily. In addition, there is another outdoor terrace with a washing machine and space for drying clothes. In conclusion, everything was wonderful. Thank you Silvana.

Expected more for the price paid

15 minutes walk to the free entrance part of the actual beach. 10 minutes walk to the beach front. Clean and well maintained property. Owner and son texted us from useful tips about local restaurants and walks. Landlord was able to respond to our queries very quickly as they live next door. Using with the shared balcony, owner is able to walk into our side of the balcony and into the property. This way the owner helped us with the fuse that triped causing the hot water and the hob to stop working, after making a few calls. They provided free coffee pods and lots of herbal teas which were very good.

Driveway is a bit tricky as it is long one with no space to reverse between 4 cars parked inside. So the only way out was to reverse back through the long driveway. Access to the property was using the stairs only, as the property is on the 1st floor. Can smell pet whilst sitting on balcony, not to mention the barking at 10pm! Balcony furniture did have cushions which made it a hard to sit there for long. We were told it was removed as there was rain in the forecast. Owner had messaged us on the previous day reminding that we need to checkout precisely at 10am and then called on the checkout day at 9:30am asking for the keys, which we felt was a bit pushy!
