My husband and I have been venturing to Jacksonville for Britt for the last 10+ years. We have enjoyed all of our "homes away from home" in that time, but Ida's Cottage was the most comfortable. Deanna was super responsive when our code would not work on check-in and we are so grateful to her. The home is clean, quiet, well-stocked, and in a perfect location for walking everywhere and biking. We hope to return!

Nice area of town.

This cottage is very well-appointed, has everything you need, and is SO clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our ambling about town and walking to the Britt Fest in the evening. Note for families with little ones...there is a wonderful little park with a fun water feature that is within walking distance (for our six-year-old).
We'll be back!

The location is great--walking distance to town, parks, Britt amphitheater.
Lodging was clean and well stocked.
Good instructions for getting there and expectations for departure.

We have stayed in some wonderful VRBOs and Airbnbs, (and some miserable ones). If we could give this a higher rating we would. Comfortable, well supplied, close to town, and quiet. Beds and lighting are important to us - wonderful linens, good lighting for reading in bed and otherwise. Sitting on the nicely shaded porch for coffee, what a great way to start the morning and end the evening! Deanna was responsive and friendly.... just very nice.
It is an excellent place to stay in Jacksonville.

We had a wonderful weekend

Very nice, but we are older, my wife needed grab bars at the tub, she can't do stairs so the nice bed went un-used, tv was limited because we don' do electronics well and I didn't see a back door in case of fire.

The house was charming and comfortable. We were able to park at the house and walk to and through the main area of the town.
We would stay again at this wonderful cottage.

This was my second time to stay at this property, and it continues to be a lovely getaway spot for friends for visiting Britt, wineries, shops and restaurants. Lovely and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our recent quick getaway to Jacksonville. Deanna's darling home was a perfect fit for the weekend. The house was everything as advertised. It was clean, quiet, centrally located and walking distance to the Britt. We will definitely book again when we return to Jacksonville. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

This was the perfect place for me and my friends to gather.
3 blocks from town so we walked everywhere. Only drove to a nearby lavender farm.
Our best meal was at C Street Grill homemade pasta and wild salmon.
The house was charming, with a wonderful porch for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails.
I’m going to come back again for sure.

I spent 3 weeks here, mostly while working in the area. Very quaint place two blocks from the main street in Jacksonville. Place was great, comfortable, all the necessary amenities, owners are very helpful and friendly, as was the booking agency. Highly recommended.

This was the cutest house! Has everything you could need. Other places I have rented have been stingy with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher soap etc. I have actually had to go out and buy more. But here there was actually extra if you ran out!
Very appreciated!

Wonderful to return to Ida's Cottage
Every aspect of our return visit to Jacksonville and Ida's Cottage found our approval. The quick return of messages, the stocked pantry, the easy operation of the appliances, and the convenient and quiet location of the home spelled out relaxation for my family. The grocery store is two short walking blocks away, the local restaurants were friendly and accommodating, the walking tours around the village interesting - with friendly residents - all relaxing. Okay, to keep this real, my girls did mention the "crunchy and noisy" mattress covers in the twin-bed bedroom....... but they did sleep well, and so did we. We enjoy visiting Medford, Ashland, and Jacksonville, and look forward to the return. Thank you!

Jacksonville & Britt
My friend and I visited Jacksonville to see 2 shows at the Britt Festival. This sweet craftsman home was perfect for us. It was walking distance to everything, in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Outstanding stay in J'ville.
My wife and I reserved the house for three nights. Our purpose was so that we could attend a concert at Britt. The house is wonderful. It is an Arts and Crafts style house in the old town of Jacksonville. The house is outfitted with everything you will need for a visit and it is only two blocks from downtown and walking distance to Britt. There are several restaurants nearby also. We had a wonderful time there and will certainly stay there again in the future. Loved the place.

Lovely location
Everything about this charming cottage perfectly filled the bill for us. Clean, well-supplied, and cute! We were able to invite extended family in for visits, something hotel rooms don’t accommodate, and walk downtown easily for meals and sight-seeing.

Perfect location ~ neat, tidy and quiet. Toilet paper needs to be in the bathroom cupboard.
Shower head spraying from the intake pipe. Toilet paper in hall cupboard vs bathroom cupboard.
Small stuff ~ everything else just fine.

Last second booking. Loved the location. (needs more pillows on the beds though)

Comfortable cottage.
Property was especially clean and well maintained. Beautifully restored older home only 3 blocks from all Jacksonville has to offer. The host was available via text if needed but the location was well equipped. The only suggestion would be for a Keurig rather than a coffee pot. My wife drinks regular coffee but I only do decaf.
This was a fantastic location that helped make our Southern Oregon visit memorable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Place to stay
the property manager, Deanna was amazing. Coffee pot was broke she brought one the next day. The housekeeper didn't show up to clean, and Deanna came over and cleaned it herself. She was wonderful. The house is within 2 short blocks of mainstreet, so we walked everywhere. Trolly ride was fun and the Pioneer graveyard was so interesting. Our vacation was wonderful and we will stay n this house again. We loved sitting out on the porch at nights drinking our wine and visiting and listening to the crickets. Lovely time.

Relaxing and unwinding
Jacksonville is such a great little town to let the stress go and enjoy the quaintness and historical aspects it has to offer. Ida's cottage is within 3 blocks of the town center and there are so many interesting places to see. The house is charming with a nice outdoor space. Owner communicated well to ensure our stay was pleasant.

Can't wait to return!
The house is clean, comfortable, and attractive. Deanna was very responsive -- the pump on the coffeepot was broken and we had a brand new coffeepot within a few hours of my telling Deanna. We are so delighted that Jacksonville still has so many restaurants and wineries that we haven't eaten or drunk at, so many trails we haven't hiked, so many plays and so much music that we haven't seen or heard -- it means that we can keep coming back over and over again. (Oh -- you asked for suggestions for improvement -- only two that I can think of is that the "Ida's Cottage" sign outside is a little hard to see because of the vines, and it would be nice to have a coaster or two in the upstairs bedroom.) Thank you so much!

Thanksgiving at Ida's Cottage
We had a wonderful stay in Jacksonville, OR. as we celebrated Thanksgiving with our daughter and family during our stay at Ida's Cottage. This is our 4th year staying here and we always find it comfortable. The kitchen is busy as we cook together and watch the many ballgames with our family. Deanna is always helpful with information and answers to any questions regarding our booking. We look forward to next year.
Thank you,

Jacksonville's finest
This is our second stay in this beautiful cottage. We have booked it again for next year as well. Deanna is great to work with and very accommodating. We appreciated the deer bedding in the front yard. Welcomed us home on several occasions. .
