A truly wonderful stay

Everything was superb from the immediate friendly welcome to the wonderful room , the breakfast was just amazing cooked perfectly a wonderful choice of items on breakfast bar to what they would cook for you

Short break in Torquay

Excellent location near to lovely walks , restaurants, bars. Breakfast big choice of menu. Good food to suit all tastes Friendly hosts who are most helpful Parking discs given on arrival. Subject to availability of spaces

Surprised that dogs were allowed in the breakfast room. Prefer firmer mattress on bed. Small ensuite

Owner were lovely and welcoming. Nice and tidy, food at breakfast was really nice.

No bath but it's understandable, with the room we were in.

Comfortable stay in a lovely handy location

Excellent location with a short walk to the harbour with many bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was generous and extremely tasty . We were able to park right outside with a permit.

Breakfast was great!! small walking distance to the activity of the streets and the best pub!!

Breakfast was supurb!!

The room was top floor (attic I think) and was quite small and compact. The bed was quite lumpy and uncomfortable . The sink in the room also made a huge clunking noise early hours of the morning therefore waking us up

We felt very well looked after and really enjoyed our stay!

The room we stayed in was lovely, spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The house was nicely presented and well kept. The host was so lovely and friendly. The breakfast was delicious! Lots of variety of food on offer! Great that we were able to bring our dog with us too! Location is ideal for a short walk in to the centre of Torquay. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast! We left with big smiles on our faces and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely weekend stay - would definately visit this B&B again.

Accommodation is very clean, lovely comfy bed with quality bedding, well cooked breakfast and lots of choice, very frendly host and you are greeted by the friendliest dog called Hector! We booked the family room which was perfect for Mom, daughter and myself for our 'girls only weekend' and we had our own bathroom and shower room which was perfect.

The only downside of this B&B is it's on a very steep hill which was not a problem for my daughter and myself but my Mom found it hard going.

Pleasant stay at Asleigh House in Torquay

very friendly (even the neighbour offered to help with the suitcases), big room with enough space, two baths, good breakfast, parking space in front of the house, and of course Hector the dog Owner gave us good advice for dinner

no night curtains, it was too bright to sleep (but none of the B&B's we stayed had night curtains) beds a little too small for grown-ups (we booked a three-bed-room without especially mentioning that we are all adults) we got an email to confirm, that we were still coming to Torquay, but didn't see that in time (offline during road trip)

Exceptional

Lovely stay.. charming old building. Great value great breakfast and parking outside on street in front. Loving and very intelligent dig who seemed to genuinely love us after 2 minutes. Very interesting dig with above average brains. Sounds strange but true.

The sitting room could use newer upolstered chairs but otherwise it was very nice. Would stay again. The place is charming.

Very good

The cleanliness was impressive. The breakfast was excellent. Also location was good. Dawn very accommodating and Hector a real doggy star. We enjoyed our stay and decided to extend it.

Our first room was a little small although quite adequate. We upgraded to another room. Cannot really find fault.

Excellent friendly guest house

Dawn is very helpful and a kind person. Has time for her guests and makes you feel comfortable. Room was very clean and tidy and smelt fresh aswell which I liked. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay with a professional person running the place who is willing to make your stay as comfortable and happy as possible then this is the place. Will definitely be booking again one day. This accommodation is also perfect to park up outside the guest house which dawn provides you with a parking permit and you can literally take a nice stroll down the road and you'll get into the town and to the seaside will take around 10 minutes and it's very easy to walk to. Dawn has also made a nice little touch in her rooms. You'll find on your bedside table a folder full of useful/helpful information of places that is dog friendly / dog friendly places to eat. Things to do etc. I will also add this is a dog friendly house which makes life even more easier if you have a pet.

There's nothing to not like here the owner is lovely so is the whole of the house.

Lovely, authentic English accommodation

not as advertised at all

Dawn was very accommodating and friendly

we paid for breakfast and when we went down. stairs were offered cereal with warm milk and a Grenola bar! Menu was full English, pancakes etc and nothing of the sort. No communication that this was not available this day so no chance of going into town before long trip home. very poor. Room was very basic and dusty.
