We wanted a break on our way home from Edinburgh and found it was perfect for our needs.

The room was a good size , with a very comfy bed. The bay window gave us a super view on to the sea. All was clean and nicely presented. Very friendly and welcoming with a very tasty full English breakfast

Weekend at the coast

The hosts were lovely, the room was really nice & the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. Definitely would stay again if visiting morecambe.

Beautiful location with an equally beautiful experience with Viv

The location is BEAUTIFUL! Viv was AMAZING and so friendly. We ended up in a massive traffic jam due to an incident on the way to our location, and Viv was wonderful in allowing for a later check in due to our situation. The room was clean and well laid out, we had an ocean facing room on the top floor, with plenty of comfortable sleeping room. We did a little exploring the following day with recommendations from Viv before we continued on to Scotland. Breakfast was delicious and made to perfection, other guests were equally as cheerful with the location and accommodation, but Viv and her positive welcoming demeanour was by far the highlight of our experience. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area, or travelling through.

Our toilet didn't flush proper, but being the type of women we are, we had no issue lifting the back off the toilet and pushing the mechanism so it would properly flush. It would have become frustrating if we had to endure this more than 2-3 days, but we were only there for the evening, so it was fine. Again, Viv's beautiful personality made up for any potential issues we could find.

Brilliant facilities,everything supplied,great hosts,spotlessly cleaned by lovely maid. Perfect!!

Everything was perfect. The Full English breakfast was luschious,as were all the facilities,tea/coffee/milk in my room,tv,shower,toileteries,everything was supplied. Plus Viv and Carl,owners,were brilliant,very friendly,helpful and were always on hand if you needed something. Am defo going to book with them when i return to Morecambe. Highly recommend the Balmoral for either long stays or just a short break.

Nothing could have been better,everything was superb. Pity tho,that Viv and Carl cudnt control the weather ha,it rained every day except one ha!! So,there was nothing i didnt like!!

Hidden gem of a guesthouse - highly recommended

Room was of an excellent standard, very clean and well decorated. Plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and the staff were extremely friendly. Well presented guesthouse and located close to local amenities.

There is nothing particularly that I did not like. I was a little unsure about booking a hotel in a tourist seaside destination as I have previously had poor experiences in a number of locations, however I did not have such concerns at The Balmoral.

To me Morecambe has very little to offer other than the sea front eating or drinking astablishments were thin on the ground I very much regret I will not be returning toMorecambe .

Perfect

The comfiest of beds (not cheap normal b&q beds) the sea view. So peaceful and quiet at night time.

Lovely location, Val was very knowledgeable and knows they area really well and gave loads of great information relevant to us. Breakfast was great and the dining room was beautiful. The whole guest house is lovely and easy to access. Really friendly place can't wait to go back !!

Good b&b on the seafront.

The sea view from room 11 is stunning, and the room was bright and airy. Well worth the extra stairs to the 3rd floor! We only stayed one night, but would happily have stayed more The cooked breakfast was good quality, and well presented. The property was nice and clean throughout

There was one minor issue with the bifold door on the shower not shutting properly, but everything else in the room worked fine.

Everything about it I liked,from the welcome,advice and best bit of all brekkie one of best I’ve had next time shall sample the sausage.
