Verzorgd ontbijt

Kamer aan de voorkant had toch nogal wat verkeers geluid , ondanks dat raam wel dicht zat. Op zich maakte niet veel uit, want moest toch ook zelf vroeg opstaan.

Uitstekend verblijf.

Zeer ruime kamer met balkon met middagzon en zeer ruime badkamer. Auto op het terrein voor de deur. Rustige en grote tuin eromheen. We konden deel bagage ruim voor inchektijd in het huis neerzetten.

Eén van de twee wastafels liep niet door en er was geen lift, maar eigenlijk waren geen van beide een bezwaar. Geen fatsoenlijk restaurant in de buurt, maar we wilden toch al naar Kortrijk, een half uurtje rijden.

Met gierende banden naar huis!

Alle goeie recensies over dit verblijf kloppen niet. Deze B&B werd voor mij en een collega geboekt om voor een nacht in België te verblijven voor werk. Bij binnenkomst had ik al meteen mijn twijfels over alles. Het gehele pand is slecht onderhouden. Het ruikt er vies. Niks is fris. Na deze eerste indruk ben ik het verblijf op gaan zoeken op internet, want ik kon niet geloven dat mijn collega’s zo iets slechts zouden uitzoeken. Daarbij vond ik allemaal slechte reviews op Google, met dezelfde ervaringen. Daar las ik schimmels, bloed vlekken, mensen die eerder vertrokken zijn en ook over de kamer sleutels die op alle deuren zouden passen. We zijn voor het slapen gaan nog vertrokken! Schandalig hoe deze B&B nu te huur staat!

Wir haben dort nicht übernachtet und werden es auch nicht. Schade um das Geld.

Wir haben zwar gebucht (und im Voraus bezahlt), sind aber sofort wieder abgereist, ohne zu übernachten. Im Haus laufen Katzen herum, wir haben eine Katzenhaarallergie (und laut Booking sind Haustiere dort nicht erwünscht). Besitzer sehr wortkarg (auf unsere Frage nach einem Restaurant kam die Antwort "habt ihr kein Google?"). Wir haben uns noch nie (!) so wenig willkommen gefühlt. Wir waren Eindringlinge in seinem Wohnzimmer (wo er auf der Couch lag und Sport guckte und nicht einmal aufstand, als ich reinkam und eine Frage stellte). Das "Restaurant im Haus" (Booking) ist sein privates Esszimmer direkt neben seiner Couch. Dieses "Hotel" hat uns unseren letzten Urlaubstag versaut. Statt zu übernachten, sind wir abends um 19:30 noch auf die Autobahn und 800 km nach Hause gefahren.

No one picked up the phone so we had to sleep in the car

We had to sleep in the car because we were 15 minutes late. An hour before reception closed, no one would pick up the phone and so we couldn't speak to anyone.

Another fine rest at Maison Blanche.

Second time visitor, so can't complain - exactly for my needs - great location for beer tourism, warm welcoming host and nice breakfast. Thanks Wesley for your kindness and hospitality.

Host was accommodating, room spacious, beds comfortable and continental breakfast plentiful.

Space and dining area.

Unable to gain entry as phone number on door not clear and several cats in the property. No food available to purchase on arrival . All shops, restaurants and bars closed on Mondays!!

Big room, comfy bed and pillows A veranda which I'm sure lovely to use during summer.

No mirror in the room, only in the bathroom/toilet. Toilet hard to plush, you have to do it many times to plush it all away. Blocked shower drainage, though the owner was quick to respond and have a look at it. There's a kettle in the room but no coffee or tea available.

Hostess was very friendly and location was great. The breakfast was So good- pancake, fresh orange juice. It didn´t even matter that the bathroom was not connected to the room. As a bonus- room had Netflix :)

Wonderful home cooked breakfast with omlette, fried eggs, hard boiled eggs, different types of bread and pastries e.g. croissants, pan au chocolat, danish pastries, homemade chocolate cake, fruit, yoghurt, different hams and cheeses, etc, Comfotable rooms and great host.

Location was OK, only roud's repairing around. Breakfast was excellent. Bread very high quality. Very human staff.

Accomodation need some refurbishment, but considering the price / values side of it it came with a very good price. We have spent two nights there and we went to Ostend and Bruges, which was easy 1 hour ride by car. Breakfasts were great.

Great value stopover.

The room was huge and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were really good value for money. Its in a quiet area but perfect for an overnight stop whilst travelling home to the UK. I would happily stay again.

The shower could do with some maintenance (but does work adequately at the moment).

Fine and relaxing vacation.

Absolutely perfect location for beer tourism - more than 40 breweries around. A fabulous, diverse and always healthy breakfast. Nice kind and helpful host.

Maybe a small renovation of the room interior will help.
