Decepcionante

La ubicación y la educación de las limpiadoras

Las maneras de la persona que nos atendió dejaba mucho que desear, ya que si no te gusta tratar con gente, no trabajes de ello, porque no veo lógico tratar mal a personas que están pagando la estancia. Quisieron modificar la hora del check in, aún teniendo en la página un horario fijado, lo que nos trastocó, y después de un percance tuvimos que salir corriendo porque si no, perdíamos la reserva, aún estando en hora que tenían establecida en la página. Y la habitación que cogimos no correspondía con las imágenes mostradas, era muy antigua. Las toallas tenían manchas amarillas y en la cama habían pelos, cosa que nunca me había pasado antes en ningún hostal. También se oía todo y estuvimos toda la noche oyendo las voces de las chicas de al lado, que pasaron la madrugada gritando borrachas, cosa que me impidio dormir tranquila. Relación calidad precio, no merece la pena para otros hostales que he ido. En el baño no había ni gel ni jabón, solo un bote de una mezcla de agua y un poco de jabón completamente líquido. Es una pena para la ubicación que tienen la dejadez del sitio.

La ubicación es buena está cerca de todo.

No se podía comer en el hostal, está prohibido. Entiendo que si vas a estar unos días, comas algo fuera, pero en el caso de algunas personas que llevan todo el día entero viajando y apenas tuvieron tiempo de comer o comprarse algo antes de llegar, que tengan que salir a comer fuera cuando están totalmente cansados y hace frío porque llegan a deshoras no lo veo lógico. He estado en muchísimos hostales y hosteles y en todos he podido pedir comida a domicilio para tomarme tranquilamente mientras descanso. No veo bien que encima que pagas, tengas que estar pasando hambre si no te apetece salir porque llegas rendido. Entiendo que haya podido tener otras experiencias, pero no tienen porqué pagarlo todos los huéspedes. Hay una mesa y una papelera cualquier persona civilizada sabe comer un simple bocadillo sin ensuciar. Losiento, pero no me parece lógico, simplemente con decir que tengan cuidado de no manchar es suficiente.No volveré, estuve muerta de hambre.

El dueño facilitó la hora de entrada debido al corte de carreteras por la huelga.

La impaciencia, incomprensión y malestar del personal que la lleva y la suciedad del lavabo.

Worst value for money accommodation in Spain. Stay at your own peril.

Nothing to like about this place at all. A complete rip off. Location is ok

This is without a doubt one of the worst places I have ever stayed at travelling the world. It is a complete rip off to charge 50 euros for a prison cell room with wifi that didn’t work and a cold shower at 6am. The owners are rude and wouldn’t let me use the room at 1pm even though it was ready as check in was 2pm. Basically I had to leave my bag in the room and go lol. If I paid 15 euros then I would not be writing this ! It is the worst place I have stayed at in Spain and I have walked 2 x Caminos and stayed in some shoddy Albergues but you get what you pay for. It is sincerely the worst value for money accommodation in Spain and the only saving grace was the A/C worked and location was ok. The photos on the website did not reflect the room I booked and had been photo shopped.

Pleasant

The aircon was definitely needed during the summer nights in Jaen. (With earplugs) I slept very well. Check out was easy and the location is perfect.

The host didn’t speak any Englisch which made the communication difficult and you could hear the other guests very clearly through the walls

Very good

Spacious, clean room with a ceiling fan and aircon. Nice and light and good central location. We were able to leave our heavy backpacks in the pension as we arrived early which made the first few hours in Jaén much more enjoyable.

Superb

Very good location for budget travellers. Cheap, but you get a private room with a bathroom. Place was very clean and access is clearly identified (it is located in an apartment block). In the middle of the centre are of Jaen with all the restaurants, bars and landmarks close by, however central bus station is also reachable by walk (10 mins approx.) The owner did not speak English but did all the best to make communication as smooth as possible via Google-translate. I was even allowed to keep my bags after check out (almost for half a day as my bus was in the evening) Highly recommended if you appreciate value and comfort over fanciness

The location was central to the centre of the old town close to bars, shops and the market. excellent price. the beds were comfy. it was great for one nights stay. Francisco met up with us and helped us get settled in.

The shower was warm but a bit temperamental.

Great location, lovely room, very rude owner

Great location, central and quiet. Nice room, very clean.

The owner is grumpy and unfriendly. My partner forgot to fill out the form in capital letters and the owner was so upset that he dramatically tore the paper up in front of us. A lot of bad vibes for nothing really, we were friendly and he was just plain rude.

Great location and value for money!

This property is great! I had a lovely double bed (super comfortable - literally slept so well) with en-suite shower and toilet and balcony over looking the city! the location is perfect, literally right in the centre close to all the main tourist attractions and only 20 mins walk (7 mins in car) from the train station! Everything was super clean and sanitary, following covid protocols. The owner was very welcoming and gave me all the info I needed. i would recommend others to stay here and would return in the future!

Perfect location and a comfy hotel

The location was perfect for the cathedral as well as hiking the castle.

The light switch to my room was on the outside of the wall, so I woke up at 3 am one morning to my light on because someone flipped the switch 😂

Cheap, but you can do much better than this in Jaen. AVOID

Bed was comfortable. Room was warm enough. Location was good

No-one to let us in; had to wait outside in the cold until someone came out. Reception the surliest we have ever encountered - in 60 years' combined travelling NO facilities. Room was small; barely furnished. WiFi virtually non-functional Ran out of toilet paper; no-one to resupply Water ran out on day 3.

This accommodation is very weel located. The staff was kind to us, helping with directions and keeping our stuff during the afternoon.

Was the most ideal place in Jaén in old town near Cathedral and balcony

It was right in the centre of the old town, very close to the cathedral near atmospheric street. Very clean with your own nice modern bathroom with good hot water. Also had a balcony and big, comfortable bed

They were a bit unnecessarily strict about bringing a second person into the room even though it was a double room

Everything was perfect and clean . The bed is so comfy. The host is friendly and helpful , I had to check out at 12h but I couldn't make it because of an appointment so the host waited for me until I finished at 14h . I can't thank him enough ❤

Great value for money!

The location is great. The owner is very helpful and kind, and overall the room was clean. Good value for money!

The room was a bit dark, so was the bathroom. But for the price you pay it's still a good deal!
