About 7 miles south of Traverse City just off Garfield Road. We are north of Kingsley, on the south end of Arbutus Lake. This property has many comforts of home and accommodates 4 people comfortably. The lake property has 400 ft. of private beach with a sandy bottom, a swim raft and buoys, five 30-ft docks, children's playground, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue gas grills and fire pits. If you are boating and/or fishing, the resort features a large boat house with private secured lockers, a screened-in fish-cleaning house with running water and a boat launch. This is also a great location if you are planning to take a fall color tour so don't limit yourself just to summer! Small pets are considered and renters are asked to clean up after them. This property is not handicap accessible. The heated vacation cottage has a newer interior, fully stocked kitchen with microwave, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker and toaster. There are 2 queen-sized beds. The resort and cottage is secluded and quiet, located on wooded Arbutus Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing (small and large mouth bass, blue gill, perch, and pike), boating and water-skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding and plenty of shopping.
