The cottage is nestled in one of the original, up north, inland lake resorts on Arbutus Lake in Traverse City, Michigan. Pineview Resort is nestled in the pine trees on 400 feet of shared sandy beach on Arbutus Lake #1. This two bedroom, one bath cottage sleeps 4. There is a small, open living room and kitchen. There is also a three seasons porch. The private outdoor space is amazing with a fire pit, adirondack chairs, picnic table, and charcoal grill. Firewood is provided with the rental. Bring your hammock - lots of trees to chose from. Peek-a-boo view of the lake. All of this with downtown Traverse City just 15 minutes away. This is the perfect location for northern Michigan exploring! Wifi included for rainy days đź“ş Must bring all bed linens and towels.

Absolutely zero hesitations about coming back again! Our 4 year old girls thought it was Heaven, and so did I! You can watch the kids on the playground from the screened in porch, and walk to the private beach in seconds. Hosts were accommodating and friendly as were the “neighbors,” and location was perfect to explore Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Grocery stores close by to fix our own meals, several of which also had great grab and go choices to take on adventures. I was checking next year’s availability before the end of our first day!

We had a fabulous time on our vacation in Traverse City. We loved this cute blue cottage. It was very clean. Just a short walk down the hill to the beach.
We brought our boat and had a dock space available for us.
They put on an amazing fireworks show for the 4th!
The owners live in the area and were available for questions but were not at all intrusive. Hoping to stay here again next year!

We had a great stay at this rental. There is a park right outside the rental, which was great for young kids. Town is an easy 15-minute drive away. Our only complaint was that the windows in the bedrooms did not lock which isn't ideal with young kids. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay in this perfectly appointed and adorably decorated cozy cottage! I spent most of my time reading a book on the lovely screened in porch. The bed was comfy, and the cottage was very clean. Amy was a very accommodating host, and she thought of everything! I also really enjoyed making use of the kayaks on the nearby lake, and making a fire in the fire pit in the yard. I hope to go back again soon!

The cottage was neat and clean and it had a large and clean bathroom.. The front bedroom was the largest we have seen in any cottages. The furniture was comfortable. The owners replaced the refrigerator within 24 hrs after it broke down. a good time was had by all.

Me and my girlfriends really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was clean, had everything we needed and was located in a wonderful area. we took advantage of the the canoes and kayaks and really enjoyed them. I would defiantly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area.

A remote, quiet area. It is a small place that is perfect for 2 people. Very basic. Some deep dusting could be done. I believe it would be a fun location in the summer. Very affordable
