Stay Awhile Cottage is perfect for one or even two couples: It features TWO king bed master suites, brand new plank floors throughout, and tasteful furnishings to keep you comfortable and cozy. You will feel right at home as you walk in the door. Relax in the open and sunny living room, or on the large, breezy lanai, which is screened and with windows for year round comfort.
There are two luxurious sleeping areas: EACH bedroom is furnished with a super-comfortable KING BED for an amazing night’s sleep.
The fully supplied kitchen has everything you will need for a quick breakfast, a gourmet dinner, or anything in between. There is filtered water at the sink and a coffee pot (drip or Keurig) with starter supply of coffee/filters, blender, microwave, and everything else your kitchen at home offers. The house is clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. There were lots of little extras around to make us feel at home (make up mirrors, dog supplies, etc) Two master suites with full bathrooms and king beds. Great quality mattresses, towels, linens. Kitchen is fully stocked with every need, even some pantry/food items (coffee, spices, etc) Included bbq and golf cart are nice touches. Outstanding host - wish he had more properties! Highly recommend.

Property is as good as advertised. In the same message we were told the property is ready to check in we were told the washing machine broke the previous weekend, and could we stay to let the repair man in and stay until he leaves. After a false start, repairman shows up later than scheduled and left 2.5 hours later. Meanwhile we had to reschedule our plans. Probably should receive a partial commission for managing the property that day.

Lots of restaurants and shopping close by also. Communication with the owner was excellent He was very attentive and helpful. The expectations of my wife and I were exceeded by orders of magnitude. The home we stayed in was spotless, fully furnished, and complete with starter supplies and amenities. The host, Joel Ackerman, continually checked on our comfort and made himself available to any questions we had. We hope to return and stay there again!

Everything was perfect-from booking to check out. Owners communication was outstanding. He was kind to send us emails of events going on while we were there. The house was clean. Very comfortable, it couldn't have been better! We loved the neighborhood, it was super safe and friendly. The golf cart was nice to have. We used 3 area pools-Duval, Truman and Bonita, all very nice and clean. So much to do in The Villages! It is overwhelming, so plan what interests you and do it! Line dancing classes were fun-great to try something new! Be sure and go to town squares to hear the wonderful entertainment. We especially enjoyed DJ Scooter and The Greg Warren Band. All the restaurants are fabulous. Our favorites were #1: Nancy Lopez (the lobster bisque is the best ever, caesar salad and fig flatbread), Mallory Hills, Evans Prairie, the Lighthouse at Lake Sumter and Arnold Palmers. Tues. from 4-6 p.m. is Beer Bingo at WOB (World of Beer) in Brownwood-it was a good time! Lot of nice nature trails-Black River Path and also by Fenney. We would stay at this house if we came back- it was perfect!

My husband and another couple stayed here while attending a family reunion in The Villages. Property was clean and comfortable and provided easy access to other family in The Villages and in Ocala. I would definitely recommend this place! It was clean, the beds were very comfy, it is in the center of everything, walking distance to pickleball, we golfed everyday! Country club just down the road that has great food and the best dirty martinis! Shopping for groceries is about 2 miles away. Perfect location.

Very responsive owner, clean, comfortable home well situated in The Villages. Enjoyed lots of golf, dining out & shopping. Loved washer/dryer & all amenities like we have at home. Safe, friendly neighborhood. Owner took care of all formalities beforehand so no trouble getting to property. Had a very nice time there for the last week of 2020.

When I first saw the picture of Stay awhile Cottage in The Villages, FL, I knew it was the one I wanted to stay at. The home was very nicely decorated, very comfortable. It had everything we needed including a golf cart. It was also close to the pool and close to the town squares. Joel the owner was wonderful. He answered any questions we had immediately. Very easy to talk to. Looking forward to staying there again.
