About this lodge
Located in Utah, this charming lodge for $421 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This luxurious and beautifully appointed lodge on 32 private acres overlooks North Creek and the lands of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and is less than 5 miles from the unique town of Escalante, Utah. The lodge is a short drive off scenic highway 12. The stunning drive from Escalante to Boulder is one of the top 10 scenic drives in the world and is not to be missed. Located 3/4 mile from outdoor dining (dinner only starting June 1) at the North Creek Grill, part of the Slot Canyons Inn. The lodge is also close to fishing, hiking, biking, Native American sites, Barker and Wide Hollow Reservoirs, and the Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. It is 45 minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park and 85 minutes to Capital Reef National Park. This amazing 3,200 square foot lodge with three bedrooms and three bathrooms is perfect for up to 12 guests. Each bedrooms has a king sized bed. The main floor bedroom is actually a bunk room with sleeping for six in addition to the king bed. The gourmet kitchen is fully furnished with state of the art appliances, and a wine cooler. The pantry is well stocked with basic ingredients. The massive great room windows and wrap around deck make the views stunning during any season and perfect for star gazing into some of the brightest, most beautiful skies you will ever see. Each bedroom has a television connected to DirectTV.

We stayed here with two other couples in order to be near all of the hiking in Bryce and Escalante. Fabulous location with terrific space. Everyone had their own large bedroom and bathroom with a well-stocked kitchen and lots of room to eat and relax both indoors and outside. The stars at night are amazing with no other lights around! Will come back the next time we’re with family or friends to explore more of the area.

We prefer vacations away from cities but close to areas of interest. This house sits on a bluff looking down on a creek. It is a beautiful setting and we thoroughly enjoyed the B&B down below for breakfast. There is a new restaurant on that property with an outstanding chef. For all who want a real “get away” from the rest of the world, this is an ideal spot.

I loved this home so very much, and cannot say enough good things about it, but I will try. First the location. The setting is gorgeous, and the location is very private and peaceful. The deck is large, and overlooks a creek with lots of cottonwood trees. What a way to end a day of hiking and exploring the surrounding area - sitting on the deck with a book and a glass of wine.
Now, the house itself. Large and luxurious. Extremely comfortable bed in master bedroom, kitchen well equipped with anything you would ever need, and tall ceilings in the living room with huge windows to allow enjoyment of the beautiful scenery around the home.
Last, Pauline is such a good host. Very nice, communicative, and helpful. I definitely want to stay there again, and highly recommend it.

Firstly Wow! A beautiful home and property! We could not have wanted for anything! Fully stocked kichen(pans, utensils, and spices)! Spacious rooms to hang out and chat and play games in, comfortable beds to sleep well in to be rested for our next adventure. Great location to awesome parks and vistas. Would love to return soon and bring more family with us next time. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My husband and I stayed here for our Escalante adventure. The house is just amazing. It snowed all day one day so we stayed in, cooked, played games and just admired the beauty of the home. Pauline was great. The house is close to town but very private. The house is stocked with everything you will need. I can't wait to come back!

What a beautiful property. We arrived in the evening after the sun had gone down but the view we woke up to was amazing! Especially with the color of the falls leaves. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of beds for our family and plenty of kitchen supplies and equipment for making meals.

Relaxing vacation!
We had a wonderful stay in Escalante. The property was amazing, with gorgeous views of the desert during the day and the stars at night. The kids enjoyed playing by the nearby stream. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Escalante Property
Stayed here for Spring Break with a family of four, including a teen and tween. This is a well constructed and maintained mountain property and very well appointed with everything you need. Beds are plentiful and comfortable, a large group would be comfortable here. Owner has taken the time to label and document where things are and how they work. Land has been well cared for and managed. Host was excellent about communicating and providing suggestions and tips. Lookforward to returning at some point.

Jewel of Escalante Lodge
What a slice of heaven! We were amazed how incredible everything was. The lodge is amazing in every way; cozy, comfy, beautifully furnished, with nearly everything you could want or need. The views and the night sky were glorious. The kitchen was a dream, making food preparation a pleasure – including our Thanksgiving feast! We thoroughly enjoy hiking daily in and around the area and so appreciated such a fabulous place to comeback to to rest our weary bones. Our hostess, Nicole, was a treasure to deal with - quick to respond, kind and helpful.

This was a spectacular place to relax and enjoy nature. The home is stunningly decorated and well appointed, and the view of the stars, milky way, and sun rise are breathtaking.
