Cottage #2 - Charming and serene, clean, comfortable cottage just 20 miles from Key West. Located adjacent to the pool. Cottage offers a full kitchen, screened patio, a single bedroom with a queen bed. This cottage is situated only steps away from our pool. The dock, seawalls are all available to our guests. A coin laundry is also available on site. Whether you come to the Florida Keys to escape the winters, or enjoy the calm waters and great fishing and diving of the summers, you will find Cudjoe Oceanside Cottage to be your Home Away From Home.

Cottage was cozy and clean. Cottage needs a few things….. Stayed in cottage 2- screen door latch is broken, screen needs repaired in 2 places where there is napkins or paper towels in wholes.
Outside light would not come on at the corner of cottage. TV was hard to see from the wire shelf hanging on the wall would be perfect. We loved the cottage.
Provide paper towels and more towels in for bathroom.
These are just suggestions.
We really loved the cottage and plan to stay again next year.

If you need a place for two this is it. Perfect amount of space for us. Easy access to the pool and dock.

They forgot to tell me that the water at that property is very shallow also the boat launched is too small to get a 26 ft center console with a 30-foot trailer and an Escalade into the boat ramps even if I got the boat in the water at a different place there still isn't enough deep water at the property manager was very rude told me she could not refund my money told me I don't know how to back up my trailer I would recommend this place to anybody terrible business!!

This was our second stay at the cottage. There is everything you need and we were able to bring our dog. It’s great to be able to use the boat slip as well. Reasonably priced and well worth it. Quiet, clean and close enough to everything.

My daughter and I stayed here for her 17th birthday. The location is excellent for tourism of the islands. The property is peaceful, friendly and clean. Beautiful pool. Cottage was very clean and furnished with everything you need.
I’ll be back this time next year and will definitely plan to stay here again. 10/10 recommend.

We came down to fulfill a couple of bucket list items. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. Comfy, cozy, nice grounds, good parking for the bike trailer ... close enough to the Key West craziness, but also far enough away. A couple of great restaurants within 2 or 3 miles in either direction. Yes, it's older and yes, it's dated....but it's clean and totally functional with a pool right out back and a dock with a cool walkway through the mangrove. The team members we met were cheerful and friendly. The owners were communicative all the way up to and including our check in. We had zero issues with anything while there. All of the basics were stocked and appliances worked. Would absolutely stay again and again. Thank you!!!

My 15 year old daughter and I came to the Keys for a getaway. This cottage was the perfect location for us and affordable. The cottage was clean and tidy, plenty of items in the kitchen to make breakfast, lovely pool area and very responsive host. The dock is a beautiful spot for morning coffee. If you are looking for a high end experience this is not your spot as the building, while clean, is dated and the furnishings are older. For us it was just right. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Excellent location if you want to enjoy Key West but still be able to enjoy peace and quiet. Easy commute to Duval Str but far enough away to relax. Property was fully equipped for anything you would need and it was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The driveway has a greasy, slimy area. Making it difficult to get in & out of vehicles. The motorcycle almost slid out from under us as well. The blinds are still not fixed…. No privacy. The information sent from the property manager stated to bring coffee & filters…. Why?? There was no coffee maker. The refrigerator opens to the wrong side. You can’t read the knobs on the stove or oven. Picture showed a Weber grill. Not there. Thermostat set at 68. Can’t change it. Froze my butt off. Bring your own baking sheet pans. Don’t flush the toilet when in the shower, will burn your skin off. Tv is only 19”. Bring your glasses. Pool was nice. Tiny park style grill by the pool. Bring your charcoal

Great convenient place for fishermen/divers and family. Simple, clean Keys cottages with free dockage which is a big plus. Super convenient access to ocean and backcountry. If you are the hotel type and expect everything perfect go somewhere else. Always appreciate and support locals rather than big hotel chains.

This property is not as described. When we arrived at 2am on 9/14/23, we entered the property and noted that there were roaches, the bedsheets had not been cleaned (as evidenced by the multiple hairs once we turned the sheets back), the bathroom was dirty, multiple slats missing from blinds on sliding glass doors (privacy concern!), the noise from the fans and AC made sleeping impossible, water pressure was practically non-existent. I had no choice but to stay that first night as it was already 2 am when we arrived. We contacted the Property Manager via text/email/voicemail. She did not respond for a bit and once she did, I had already booked a place elsewhere. She stated she would process a refund when she returned to her office. That was on 9/14/23. I have contacted her daily since that time and she just replied today on 9/19/23, that she had been "out of pocket and that the owner had refused to refund the money". This is ridiculous to advertise this place as something it is not, promise to refund the money, then refuse to refund. Save yourself the time, money, and inconvenience!!! This place is disgusting!!

We had a good time at this darling unit. It's such a retro back to the '50's. It's cramped, but we were there to fish and nothing else. Yep, there are things wrong with it, but we found it clean and simple. And, we could have Lulu, our dog with us. I did wash EVERYTHING in the kitchen before using it since there is no dishwasher and brought my favorite knives, etc. The air conditioner will freeze you out and the landlord did help us adjust it as well as put some WD-40 on the sliding glass door to make it easier to move it. We didn't get in the pool as we don't thing the pump was working and the water was not circulating, so that does need to be addressed. Very retro!

When we arrived at the property, we were taken back by the much needed TLC this place needs. We were in cabin #2, and it was very disappointing. We couldn't sit on the screened in porch due to no sweep on the doors and the bugs were horrendous. Then the vertical blinds had so many broken slats there was no privacy. The stove, well it definitely needs to be replaced. Cannot even read dials for temps, etc for oven or burners. Found hair and sand in bed so not sure if sheets were changed and dead bugs under dresser and one nice big live one! The couple chairs at the pool were fine, but every chair down by the so-called beach area were broken and quite dangerous.
This is a nice location overall, and with a little work and TLC, it would be a very quiet and nice place to stay.

The property is close to Key West (15-20 minute drive). It was clean and comfortable. The manager was kind enough to send a list of things to bring, but before you buy, be sure to check the property. We bought a couple of things that were available (left behind?). We were there to dive, the location was good for going to different Keys to do just that. A small convivence store had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. It was perfect for my husband and myself.

We loved our little cottage for the week! Just enough room for the two of us and our small dog. The end of the street was a great spot to tie off our boat and the launch was convenient as well. We are planning our next visit next year. Note our only suggestion is to replace the vertical blinds. Otherwise perfect spot for all the Keys have to offer.

Great location but very basic place, OK for the price. Most everything worked, don’t expect a fine quality retreat. The entire cottage is worn down and looks rather sad. Not exactly “serene” due to the noise of the very busy highway, people and workers coming and going in neighbor cottages.
At our stay the adjacent pool was resurfaced (notified way too late to find another place) had a full day of pressure washing noise.

Even before we arrived our host had given us all the necessary information to start our vacation off smoothly. We had clear directions and all forms regarding our stay. We walked into a clean smelling and actually clean room. Would definitely stay here again.

Rotting iguana carcass crossing over to the second pool, came back with a load of chiggers in the grass walking 2 properties over, not enough water in the immediate pool that’s shown on the properties site, too low for adults, perfect for kids, lol
The hide a bed in living room was horribly uncomfortable & can feel the springs in the mattress, no batteries in the big clock above the kitchen sink, had to climb over the other person to get in & out of bed in the tiny bedroom, bathroom & kitchen had a huge step up to enter up & down, which I thought was very dangerous, no TV in bedroom,no bathroom in bedroom, thought that was cheap on owners part not to put a small TV in the cramped bedroom, the tile in the kitchen cracked into pieces stepping up into the kitchen, which was very dangerous for us & least but not least, we had to leave 2 days early to find a better place to stay, which is exactly what we did!! One more thing; not one street light back in the small cottage property & it was dark & eerie each night we came into the property, not feeling safe back in there at all!! Overall, wouldn’t recommend the place to a single person as dogs that stayed on the premises barked early in the morning & by the third night, we had to leave & enjoy our last 2 days somewhere more pleasant;) We we’re done with this place, just being honest.

2nd time here so I knew what to expect and how to locate. Can be difficult to locate in the dark for a first timer. Loved sitting on the porch first thing in the morning with coffee. Bring the bug spray though, got bit by mosquitos. Great location if you want to go to Marathon and Key West in your stay.

The cottage was as described. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. As other reviews have stated the blinds are broken and missing 7 slats, so privacy is an issue. Messaged the manager she said she would come out and bring new slats and she did not! I would highly recommend replacing the ventricle blinds with curtains! The WiFi is not very good, and cell service is patchy, but we were on vacation so it was ok, if you need connection this might not be the place for you. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

As so many others have said, this property is in a great location, convenient to Key West and to the middle keys. It is small, but that was all we needed - a comfortable bed to crash in, a living room for downtime TV, and a small kitchen for a couple of meals cooked in. But as others have also said, this property is in serious need of some TLC. If you're looking for a basic place to stay at a reasonable price, this is it!
