Located in Mississippi, this attractive cabin for $159 per night is a great choice for your next break. Are you searching for a peaceful South Louisiana getaway? Look no further, Bayou Breeze Bungalow is the perfect vacation spot to experience the beautiful nature of LA! The cabin is located on Three Rivers Island, nestled between the Diversion Canal and the Petite Amite River. BRING YOUR BOAT AND JET SKIS! The island is a golf cart community and a 4 seater golf cart is included with the rental. Get ready for an ADVENTURE as you head over the bridges onto the island. With no vehicles allowed, you can enjoy peaceful tranquility away from the noise of everyday life! Bayou Breeze Bungalow is a 600 sq ft cabin, fully furnished with a living room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 loft spaces and 1 bathroom. The master bedroom sleeps 2 in a queen sized bed, the guest bedroom contains bunk beds with a full bed on the bottom and twin on the top, and each loft space has a full-sized bed. The cabin has a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and a gas grill (on the bottom deck) with propane tank included. Linens, towels, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and garbage bags are provided. Some general cleaning supplies are provided along with a swiffer sweeper, swiffer wet jet, and vacuum. There is no washer/dryer but there is a laundromat off Hwy 22. There are no closets, however there is a 2 drawer nightstand in the master and each bedroom has hooks on the back of the doors for hanging garments. Sip your morning coffee from the upstairs balcony, relax on the bottom deck in the rocking chairs, or soak in the hot tub with your drink as you watch the boats pass. Our property features private waterfront decking and two boat slips. You can enjoy nature, fishing, boating, grilling, and eating South Louisiana cuisine. Take a boat ride or simply walk around the island to see beautiful swamps with large cypress trees dressed in drooping moss. On a good day you might see turtles, alligators, nutria and snowy egrets. A community pool and gazebo is available to renters. We have a BRAND NEW DOCK with 2 boat slips and a spot for jet skis. Canal Bank offers a boat launch approximately 3 miles from the camp on the Diversion Canal. If you would like to rent a boat, visit www.geauxoutdoors.net or call 225-937-4828. Boats and trailers must be parked outside of the gated gravel parking lot. There are several bars and restaurants close by that can be accessed by golf cart and boat, Lagniappe's, Tiger Hut Bar and Rum Buoy's. Kevin's Seafood, Canal Bank, Boondock's and Hilltop Restaurant can be accessed by car and boat. Brian's Supermarket, Chris' pharmacy, King's Way gas station, Sarita's Bar & Grill, New Orleans Daquiri, Dollar General, and Subway can all be accessed by car on Hwy 22. Menus are available in the cabin. The cabin is convenient to LSU if you are coming in for a game but don’t want to be in the city. It is located about halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. If you love to shop, Tanger Outlet Mall is in Gonzales about 25 minutes away and right across from Cabela's which will be sure to keep the men occupied. Malco Cinema movie theater and Premier Lanes bowling alley are located on Airline Hwy also in Gonzales. For antiques and souvenir shopping, The Cajun Village is located in Sorrento about 20 minutes from the cabin. This That and More Indoor Flea Market is also about 20 minutes away in Gonzales. We don't restrict access to the lofts, but we are not responsible for any injuries that may occur by entering the loft areas. Children must be supervised on walkway and pier at all times. We are not responsible for anyone falling or drowning in water. We've had recently added a bulkhead, new 12 foot decking and 2 boat slips. Renters must follow all golf cart rules. No one under 16 is allowed to drive golf cart. After you book your reservation, you will receive instructions via email on directions, where to park, how to access our golf cart, and the location of the cabin. DISCLAIMER: If for some reason there is an equipment failure, we will make every effort to fix it promptly. However, we will not be obligated to give any refunds for malfunctions in the equipment (hot tub, TVs, stereo, DVD player, Internet service, etc.)

My wife and I needed a getaway, and the Bayou Bungalow delivered. It was an amazingly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place, the owners are amazing and easily accessible. Also, you will have a great time driving the golf cart to the cabin, over the bridges and through the bayou. If you want a relaxing romantic getaway this is your place.

My wife and I took our 3 kids (age range 5 to 8) for a couple nights in November. They loved the golf cart ride to the house. We brought our boat and the owner's explanation of where to launch was very helpful. The house was very comfortable and we could tell the owners want to make sure of this. The hot tub was great! Description online is accurate. Overall we are grateful for such a fun weekend.

It's a cozy tiny home with plenty of space inside and outside. There are nice outside areas with porches or decks you can hang out on. Enjoy the water views. The decor of the home was very inviting and comfortable.The neighborhood is quiet and peacful.The adventure on the side by side getting to the cabin was the most fun! We enjoyed our stay and had a blast! Thank you Dean Family for sharing your home with us!

The home was super cute, homey and cozy. Everything was decorated well. Super clean. There was food we were welcome to eat, a bottle of wine and s’mores kit. Fully finished down to the shampoo and body wash.
Our complaints: The hot tub is nothing like described or shown. It was an inflatable tub that seated 2, not an actual hot tub. We take one vacation a year after a long farming season so we were a disappointed with that. We would have chosen another spot. Also it’s a trailer park and “gussied” up a bit.

The cabin was clean and as advertised. It had all the amenities that we needed. From cooking supplies to soaps in the bathroom. The upstairs balcony was great to relax and listen to the installed Bluetooth speaker while watching the boats go by. The lower deck was great too. Everything you need to just show up and relax is already there. There's a nice grocery store and restaurants nearby. There is a bit of a process to get to the property (loading your stuff up on a golf cart and driving for maybe 5 minutes on sidewalks and over bridges) but we had fun with it. I initially thought the property was fairly isolated, but it is located within a pretty large waterfront community with neighbors. This did not negatively impact my experience and all the people that we came across were friendly and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were wanting to visit the area.

My young boys loved the adventure to get back to the property. The bungalow was exceptionally clean and well organized. Great thought was put in to the details inside the home. The deck was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. You can tell the owners care about their property. Would definitely recommend to friends and we would stay their again.

This was a great getaway! The dock was a favorite to sit on and take in the views! We enjoyed the ride to the island and were able to run around! We saw two alligators nearby and some owls! My daughter loved the loft beds and the entire place was super cozy and comfortable! We had a great family time and would definitely come back!!!!! The host was super friendly and communicated with us! We felt welcome and there were definitively friendly people in the area! Worth a stay!

This quiet little camp is PERFECT for a relaxing getaway. The hosts go above and beyond with amenities and extra supplies for you to use if you need them. Every little detail was thought of. Be prepared to make several trips with the golf cart to unload and load if you travel with a crew like our (5), but the ride is enjoyable. We all swam in the canal without worry of gators, it is plenty deep off the end of the docks. At night you will see some gators, my wife seemed to befriend a small 4 footer the nights we were their while fishing. Make sure you stop in town and get some nightcrawlers because the canal obviously has about 5 million small channel cats in it. The bite is much better after dark but it's almost non-stop. We loved this place and surely other will too.
