Staff were fantastic. Cottage had pretty much everything we needed.
Have the television working! 3 out of 4 cottages had no TV. Husband is a need so knows what he is talking about about I felt like we weren't believed. Could see a few maintenance issues which considering the price was disappointing.

We booked the 1 bedroom apartment.
Property is right next to the Visitor Centre for Mt Fields where the Three Falls Circuit starts (Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Lady Barron Falls). The circuit is about 6km. Muddy is some placees. Took us about 2 hours otherwise you can do the walk to Russell which is about 15 minutes return or Horseshoe is about 30 minutes return.
Beautiful flowing river within the property.
The unit itself has a fully equipped kitchen with a proper coffee machine. Has toaster, stove, kitchen utensils.
It has a washer and dryer which both came handy. There was laundry powder in the unit as well. A portable heater was provided in the bedroom along with electric blankets.
The sofa in the living room turns into a bed. The split system aircon in the living is unable to cope with the cold but the bathroom has a heater.
The place was quiet and peaceful. Quick and easy check in and check out process.

Ruim, dichtbij park, mooie unit, ontbijt voorzien. ‘s Avonds nog naar de glimwormen kunnen gaan kijken.
Geen wifi in de unit (2). Daarvoor moest je op straat gaan staan, dichter bij receptie.

La maison est très grande et confortable. Tout était pratique. Les randonnées sont toutes proches de la maison.
Le cadre est idéal ainsi que ce chalet.
Le chauffage est impeccable.
Par contre, les poêles et casseroles sont à changer. Elle accroche dès que l on fait la cuisine. Très embêtant à nettoyer.
Dans la douche près de la chambre parentale, le robinet de l eau froide est lui aussi à changer. Il tombe sans cesse dès que vous ouvrez l eau. Il y à aussi le problème de l eau qui sort à l extérieur de la douche car le pare douche est amovible et trop petit. Les joints sont également à changer.
Par ailleurs, pas de magasin à moins de 45 minutes.

Lovely little house and well equipped for a family of four in Maydena. Quiet and close to a lovely cafe, pub and national park.
Location was a bit confusing as we thought it was near Russell Falls National Park, but Maydena is still close enough to enjoy local sights.

Close to the falls, spacious with available washing machine and dryer. Some cereal and other foods left for use which was a lovely touch. Bed was comfortable.
Sofa was stained and had a mild odour noticeable when sitting on it at night, fridge not cleaned after previous people.

Love the vicinity to the River, and access to the park with many amazing walks in the park. Very friendly hosts. Appreciating the need to be self sufficient Ostküste evenings of the week regarding food!
The fragrance in the cottage is unnecessary and can be very irritating.(some do have allergic reactions!) We put the cadgets away from the cottage and aired the place thoroughly. I rather smell the surrounding freshness and scent of the bush.

The cottage was very spacious and had lots of windows for natural light. Super location, walking distance to the national Park visitor center. Also very close to tyenna river bridge where we spotted platypus. Plenty of wildlife in the yard as well. Laundry units provided. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen provided everything you needed and a few extras. Very quiet location
We had trouble getting the heating unit to work, so we relied on the space heater which wasn't always sufficient.

Everything was explained how to use via cute little notes. Eg how to use the bathroom heater. It made finding everything fun and easy. Everything had been thought of from the welcome message about the closest cafe and pubs to the note about complimentary items like the popcorn (wish I had time to enjoy that!) . The location was so great , we were able to complete the Russell falls and a few more circuits early morning before checkout.

Visual external presentation of individual units does not match excellent interior. Property renovations at time (host had prewarned of same giving opportunity to withdraw booking) giving rise to sewage odor. We were not anticipating being unable to use outdoor facilities. Even without renovation work in progress would have to question value for money.

Cottage one is in a GORGEOUS location right next to the creek. Cottage is quite large inside with plenty of space and facilities. Everything was clean and neat.

Lovely comfortable cottages right on the edge of the national park. We had everything we needed. Kids loved the hot chocolate bar and sports equipment provided on the lawn. Would recommend and stay again. Cabin had WiFi.
