Quick trip to Milos and this was a very nice stay when in Plaka

Overall, Studio Balkoni was a nice place to stay. It is a little difficult to find and we weren't able to connect with our host initially upon arrival.. which led us to accidentally walk into the neighboring hotel (Studio Betty) but after showing them our booking, they were incredibly kind and were able to walk us next door to the correct room. The door was unlocked and we found the keys and were shortly able to connect with our Host. Elena was able to meet us at the room and explain the various things to do around Milos and recommend some nice restaurants/activities as well as help us try to book a scooter to move around the island. We received a complimentary bottle of wine and Bottle of water when we checked in which was very nice after a long day of traveling. The area of Plaka is incredibly nice to walk around in the evenings after a sunset at the church nearby and it was very nice to have our room in this area.

The one somewhat surprising thing about the room is it is below the entire swimming pool of the above unit. This didn't particularly bother us.. but if that sort of thing concerns you, I'd try to book another room. You could hear the pool cleaner shuffling about above you in the morning (around 9am).

To many wonderful places and nice people in Greece to loose time with those

Totally overpriced. When you pay 150€ a night for such a tiny place you expect the experience to be perfect. And we were far away from the perfection. Water leaking woke us up at 5 am until 7 (noise of the water falling in the kitchen = the bedroom), and water was leaking on the electric wires of the kitchen!! After reviewing the comments, we saw that it happened several times in the past, and not been solved then. Maybe this will be considered seriously when an accident will happen? When complaining to our contact in the morning, we didn’t get any apology but a “you should have told me at 5 am, you didn’t do so don’t complain”.

View and the location

The humidity in the apartment and a very small bed. Without ear plugs one cannot sleep because of noise (chickens, goats sometimes at 2 am at night!). The size was about 14-16 meter square- not more!. The communicatIon in regards to cleaning was poor and a daily cleaning was not guaranteed in spite of a previous confirmation.

Dimitris and all the staff were really helpful and flexible. The location is the best: amazing sea view during the day and for the sunset & 3-5mn walk to Plaka traditional village!

This view!!!!

It's a small, neat apartment, simple but yet fully equipped. There's everything you need!! The location is very good, there are restaurants, kiosk and a pharmacy nearby. The view from the balcony is everything!!! Stella was very kind and friendly :) Will be coming back for sure!!
