Perfect property for a school friends weekend away. Would recommend.

Location was convenient for the railway station and was an easy walk into the centre of York. The property was excellent - clean, well equipped, comfortable beds. The individual toiletries was a nice touch as was the packet of biscuits and chocolates. It suited 4 mature ladies perfectly. There was a minor issue with the parking permit not being in the property when we arrived, but a phone call to the number provided sorted the issue - a contractor had failed to return the permit, but they delivered it within an hour.

There was little we didn't like about the property - except that there was no potato masher or stick blender (a minor issue as we made do)! The local Premier Convenience store that is noted in the 'welcome pack' is no longer open, but we found another shop nearby.

Great value for money and very clean, perfect!

Plenty space and bathrooms. The living kitchen area is perfect when you have a big group which we did. Very clean and lovely welcome basket on arrival. The ability to use a car park space was also great.

The doors are all very squeaky and so are the floors you can hear everyone moving around. The check in and check out times were late and very early and there was no option for movement on that.

We would stay again as ideal for 3 generations.

A very quiet and central location..

Shame there is not more than 1 parking bay for a 4 bedroom property,we had 4 cars. The house is very noisy you have a lot of creaking between floors, only our own noises not other houses.

Great property for the 6 of us. Great access from the station ( we all came by train).

Great location, quiet but an easy walk in to the city. Very well equipped house with everything we needed. Good WiFi and smart TV Warm despite it being -4 outside.

York in August

We had a group of 7 staying for 2 days of the York Ebor Racing Festival. The house was within walking distance of the train station where buses transported people to the racetrack. Our host facilitated an early bag drop at the house so that we could travel on to the racetrack without our luggage. The house was very clean, bathroom and shower facilities were very good, there was a nice outdoor green area at the back, it is shared with the other units but you have your own table and chairs. It's an ideal property for racing and music festivals for groups of 6-8.

Great location, short walk from City centre. Well presented and very clean

House was very clean and well presented. Baby items provided were great and very clean.

Beds were very hard, parking information needs to be clear before you arrive. Parking for only one car and you are required to use a public car park and pay. Bin bags in bins but no additional. Clothes horse would be better than small driers provided. First aid kit is minimal, one bandage that was opened was all that was in kit.

A lovely relaxing weekend away in a beautiful property with easy access to York and it’s attractions

The property was excellent for our party of 7 friends who were attending the races. Ideally situated in a quiet area but in easy walking distance of the train station and York attractions. Beautifully presented with all our needs catered for. We would gladly stay there again.

Everything was excellent, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

An excellent property, within walking distance of York

The house is brilliant - it is within easy walking distance of York and was very spacious. It was clean and airy and there was a lovely welcome basket of biscuits, coffee, tea etc. on arrival. Things like toilet roll and washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets were provided and the kitchen contained everything we needed for a week away from home. There was also outside space, a patio looking over a shared grassy area, with table and chairs to sit out.

Whilst the parking was convenient (an allotted space just opposite the property), I got a flat tyre reversing out of the space as there was a broken folding bollard in the middle of the space, with metal sticking up. This needs to be fixed for visitors as it was easy to damage your tyres when parking.

Friends weekend

Spacious and clean. Slept 9 adults comfortably. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cleaning products. Easy to walk to train station and into town.

The pillows were very soft.

lots of room for nine people. en suite to two of the bedrooms. well equipped and quiet location.

had a few problems - no towels available, broken flush on toilet in main bathroom (agent did advise us of this prior to arrival). Sink in en suite on top floor blocked and bad smell. some of the crockery and glasses were chipped/cracked. plumber at the property on our first day to fix sink and toilet
