Your family will enjoy Larry’s Lazy Susan a peaceful Lazy getaway at our beach house only a short drive from shopping, dining, golf, fishing and other activities. The house is located on a secondary street off the beaten path great for jogging and cycling. You will feel like you are literally on the beach with only a few steps, COME SEE HOW CLOSE!!
Larry’s Lazy Susan has two wonderful oceanfront decks for your family and friends to enjoy. An intimate upper deck allows you a panoramic view of the beaches below. Enjoy sitting up here and relaxing in the warm Carolina sun. The lower deck offers a cooler, shaded retreat to sit on while watching your children play in the sand.
Bring your fishing poles and try surf fishing, you may catch something great for dinner! Our house accommodates up to 13 guests with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths.
Larry’s Lazy Susan is a short drive to downtown(approximately ( 5 miles)
A typical day for us includes morning coffee on the ocean side deck watching the shrimp boats just off shore dragging their nets, birds flocking behind feeding on the left over shrimp and fish. The dolphins trailing behind and the pelicans are floating in formation along the shore.
After a walk on the beach looking for shells and sharks teeth, we decide to set up our beach chairs and umbrella for a day of sun bathing and swimming in the surf. We take a break to play some beach games, volleyball and fly a kite.
After a fun filled beach day and as the sun begins to set on the sound side, a beautiful view is afforded from the three decks on the street side. After dinner is prepared in the kitchen which has a view of both the ocean and the sound, the dining room which seats 8 at a square table has a wonderful view of the setting sun across the sound, the breakfast/dining area has ocean view dining seating 4 at a round Loggerhead turtle table where you can enjoy the ocean breeze. Having this dining area located off of the living area provides the gamers in the family a great place to play games, put together puzzles!
The kitchen also has bar seating for three on bar seats where the family can join in on the preparation of dinner.

This is our second year here and we’ve already booked for next summer. This place holds our party of 9 perfectly (7 adults and 2 kids). It’s well stocked and we just love the location. We also bring our dogs and the house is very pet friendly. We are looking forward to next year!

A wonderful, relaxed home with great family gathering spots and so close to the beach. We enjoyed the elevator for hauling luggage and food in and out, the round table for puzzles and games, and the large sectional where we watched the Olympics. The small beverage fridge and ice maker were helpful. A great spot for all ages!

Perfect location on the beach! The house has everything you need as a home base for exploring the area, or for hanging out at home. This is the most family friendly house we’ve stayed at in Topsail. Will definitely stay here again, we loved it so much!

We had a great stay! Location can’t be beat nor the views! Truly steps to the beach where the water’s edge is not far away. Well stocked kitchen and lots of places to sit and eat or lounge. We rented linens and towels which were waiting for us upon arrival. Had some trouble with the elevator but Larry was very quick to respond and help. Would stay again.

We again had a great stay (third year running) at Larry’s Lazy Susan. Our group feels right at home and lacks for nothing. The new beverage fridge is great for chilling a bottle of wine or simply chilling your bottles of water. We will rebook soon for our fourth year in a row. Oh, the views are great as you are right on the beach, as the description states. A short ride in either direction, you will find all the retail shops one could need. Thanks Larry and Susan. This is almost a home away from home for us, we love to come back every year to relax and recharge. It's so nice to be able to walk out and watch the sun rise, then to watch the changes in the water from early morning thru evening. The house is perfectly situated, not in a crowded area but with just enough people around to say hello.

This was our family's 12th year spending Christmas at the NC coastal islands. Larry's Lazy Susan is one of our favorite places thus far. The spacious kitchen allows for numerous people to gather and is fully stocked for the avid cook .The open floor plan of the common areas, is perfect for the whole family to hang out without feeling cramped. The view is one of the best on the island. The fresh/creative decor is sure to leave a smile on your face.
The elevator is a huge help with getting your luggage upstairs.
The owner of the property is attentive and available for any questions/ concerns you may have.
I would recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect property for our holiday family gathering including fur family members! Host instructions and Lockbox keys provided easy access for group members arriving at different times. Floorplan layout (in pictures) was excellent. Easy access to the beach and beautiful views. The elevator and ramp provided excellent access for those needing a little extra help. Kitchen/Dining area worked well for our group of 7. Top floor balcony with beachfront views and seating area was a favorite spot! The Host was very responsive. The rental bed and bath linens were delivered as scheduled.

We had a wonderful getaway in this beautiful home on the oceanfront. I watched a sunrise unfold from the balcony and took walks on the beach with barely anyone out as far as I could see. When I had questions, the owner was very quick to respond. I would have no reservation about returning to this very house and hope that I can.

This was our second trip to the Lazy Susan and we had a wonderful time. The beach house is perfect for a large or extended family with the 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and ample space. We easily prepared our Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen. While it was late November, the beach is beautiful and our grandchildren enjoyed playing there. And of course the views! Want to read a book, go upstairs to the little den overlooking the beach or sit out on one of the two decks. We'll be back!

A group of six friends spent a week at this property. We absolutely loved the house so very eclectic and comfortable. Great kitchen if you love to cook. Right on the beach. Watched the sun rise and set every day.

This was our third visit to Larry’s Lazy Susan and we are already looking forward to returning next year for our fourth visit! We cannot say enough. The home is perfectly located in North Topsail Beach. It offers everything to make a small or large family/families feel very comfortable. The elevator is perfect for loading, unloading, and for people who are getting up there and have a harder time with stairs. The family room is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Oh, and of course, the beach! What a beautiful beach for walking, swimming, fishing, or just hanging out. We didn’t need a thing, but it’s great to know that Larry is very responsive if any needs arise. Two quick food recommendations: Maine Lobstah Shack in Surf City is outstanding. Also, it’s a little further south, but Lewis Seafood/Lewis Seafood Shack are amazing. Thanks again to Larry and his family for making their home available to renters!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Larry’s Lazy Susan. Our ages range from 90 to 2 months and the home was perfect for us all. Staying oceanfront was superb with the children running back and forth multiple times a day from the beach to the house. We are foodies and the kitchen was very well appointed ! only wish we could book for next summer but she is already full :)

This was our fourth stay at this beach house. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and there was plenty of room for family dinners. Beds were comfortable. The beach is steps away and was easy to take our chairs and raft to the ocean. We booked again for next year.

We absolutely love staying at Larry’s Lazy Susan on North Topsail Beach! We have been staying here for several years now, and plan to come back again next year. The home is very comfortable, well appointed, and the location doesn’t get any better! We also love that our furry family members can enjoy the beach with us as well! Your property accomodated our family wonderfully. The elevator was very helpful in unloading. Great to have a table that we all fit around and plenty of dishes. We got great use out of the crockpots.
Couldn't have had a better access to the pristine beach. Love the outdoor shower facility.

Overall great lazy trip. Did nothing but visit, cook, eat, play cards, FISH, walk on the beach, hunt shells, and medal detect. Just relaxed. House was great. Loved that we had an elevator since we had three adults unable to do stairs.

We are very disappointed that this week of 2024 was rented before we had a chance to rebook. That has never happened before. I tried on the way home to rebook and our dates were taken.

This was our second year at Larry's Lazy Susan and just like our first stay we loved it. It's hard to imagine finding a place closer to the water. The views are amazing and the sunrises are jaw dropping. If you cook you will find nearly everything you need to prepare meals for large groups. The elevator is great for folks who need some extra assistance or simply unloading and loading the "truckster".
Larry is a great host and has never failed to respond within minutes if not under a minute when information or assistance is requested.

Larry’s Lazy Susan is our all-time favorite beach house. It provides a comfortable space for our family (including my 90 year old mother and our yorkies). The elevator, alone, makes the stay super easy. And the fact that we can bring along the family pet makes it the perfect place for us. Amenities abound in this spacious home just steps from the sand. Lots of windows give great views of the ocean. The spacious kitchen has every appliance you will need and plenty of dishes, pots and pans to fed your hungry crew. This is officially our go to place when visiting Topsail Island. We are already planning next year’s stay!

Quiet location. Beautiful beach. Home was comfortable and clean. Owners very good to deal with. We brought our standard poodles they loved the home and beach. Elevator is a life saver to bring in luggage. Will recommend it and will definitely rent again.

The house is very comfortable and is on a beautiful stretch of beach. The decks, beach access, and living room and upper deck facing the beach are terrific. The secure gate latches on the deck provided confidence for having the dog join us on the deck. The quantity and variety of kitchen utensils and dishes were great. Nice to have a grill, umbrella and a few beach chairs and toys on site. The ice maker was a really nice amenity. We didn't use the bedroom off the living room, but used all the others and all were quiet and private. It was nice to have a few different places to gather as a group or alone. The elevator was nice to get luggage and groceries up and down. As the photos show, on the third floor, the elevator opens directly into one of the bedrooms so using the elevator requires cutting through that bedroom to get to any of the other bedrooms on that floor. Slider to the third-floor deck was hard to open due to bottom rollers being bound up, but it worked. Larry is a proactive and responsive communicator, and I enjoyed working with him before and during the trip. It was a very nice experience.

Our family had a great week, enjoyed the property very much. The house was clean, and spacious. Larry was very good communicating with us through the whole process. And, he helped us with any needs or concerns. The elevator was very handy during the unpacking/packing of the car. The up to date wifi and tvs kept our teenagers happy. Beach is gorgeous. Found sharks teeth along the walks. Favorite part of the stay was enjoying the decks overlooking the ocean. The deck halfway down to the sand was our favorite hangout spot. Stargazing, and watching the military air maneuvers.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The home comfortably fit our family: 4 adults, 2 children, and pets. My wife is handicapped and the elevator/deck ramp allowed her to easily access the property. It is beach front. Fantastic sunrises, dolphins, and a clean beach. Plenty of room, the 5 bedrooms allowed us to spread out. The kitchen and dining area is spacious. You can't go wrong here - we intend to go back.

This spacious home was large enough for our family to rest and relax in. My daughter, who uses a wheelchair, was able to access the property through the elevator, which allowed her to experience the beach for the first time since she was a child. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We liked having a separate ice machine in the kitchen. Showers had great pressure, and lots of hot water. The gated in deck allowed our pets to enjoy being outside untethered to lay in the warm sun. Check in process was very easy, and communication with the host was quick. Right on the beach without dozens and dozens of steps to access it. We had a wonderful time.
