Recently renovated and tastefully furnished, this home offers 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths.
On the main floor, 2 bedrooms with king beds. 2 marble bathrooms on the main floor, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining room and the spacious living/family room with large sectional sofa, wood burning fireplace and big screen TV equipped Apple TV with 100s of movies to choose from.
2 bedrooms located on the upper level 1 with a king size bed, private patio, separate bath, plenty of storage and a big screen TV and the other offers a 2 twin size bed, a big screen tv, and a large lounge chair. On the lower level, this home offers 1 with king bedroom with fireplace, full bathroom, laundry room, playroom with pool table, foosball table, and theater.
Outside on the upper deck is furnished with a dining table setup for 8 and a comfortable sitting area to enjoy your day with your family and friends while being on the front seat of the most spectacular views of Smith Mountain Lake.
The lower deck is also set up with lounges chairs and a swing to provide yet another comfort to enjoy the views that will keep you breathless.
2 owner's kayaks and 1 SUP are also available for renters to use for free. Renters must sign a waiver before using kayaks.

The property is amazing! It could not be closer to the lake and has a dock available. The location is within easy walking distance of a great restaurant, boat rentals and the community pool. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need. We look forward to returning for a longer stay!

This is our third stay at Peaceful Haven and it just gets better every year! The remodeling that has been done is stunning! There is plenty of room for a family to spread out. The lake views are gorgeous, the little beach is so convenient and the kayaks/SUP are great for touring the lake. We have already booked our stay for next year!

Waterfront with Mountain View - we woke up every morning in awe of being able to drink our coffee in the back deck and take in the beautiful scenery. We swam in the lake every day and used the provided water toys. Our toddlers loved being able to walk right in to the water. The home was fully accommodating in terms of layout and supplies. We can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful Haven was heavenly for our extended family of 10 ranging in age from 8 months to 65 years! Even better than we anticipated! House was spacious and had everything we needed and then some! Top & bottom decks afforded lovely views of the lake and mountains! Sandy beach was just steps away and convenient boat rental around the cove. Owners are very responsive to any questions/issues that arise! Stay here to make family memories you will treasure for a lifetime!

This unit was amazing and perfect for our 4 couples. The view right on the lake was beautiful, the house was so well stocked with everything you could possibly want or need, everyone in our group commented on how comfortable the beds were. It was just a beautiful, well decorated and furnished town house. We will definitely come back and stay in this exact location/unit!!

Accommodations were great with some of the best views on the lake. Home was very well equipped with everything you would need for a week’s stay at the lake. Would highly recommend this location to families or a group of ten people. Hoping to possibly stay here again in the future!

This property is AMAZING! There are just not enough words to explain how much we loved it. It was exceptional - from the location to the decor to the well stocked kitchen. May checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. We have stayed at SML several years in the past and this was by far the best property. Bernard's is our favorite location and this is the most beautiful home we've stayed in at Bernard's. I am incredibly particular about cleanliness and I can say that there was not one crumb or dirty spot on any of the 3 floors.
If you've never been to Bernard's Landing, this is a prime location. The view is unbeatable and the beach area right outside was a perfect spot for our kids.
There were 10 of us (6 adults and 4 kids ages 6-17) and every one of us had a great time. The rooms are perfectly appointed and it worked well for our 3 family units.
We can't wait to come back and enjoy Peaceful Haven next year!

The location of the property is amazing. It's very beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Pretty big house that good for up to 10 people. Plenty of room inside with multiple places to chill. The clubhouse is nice addition as it has indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as gym, sauna and steam room. The property manager was great. We've never had any issues. Everything was awesome! We'll definitely go back. Highly reconnend!

The location and view are awesome. The house, itself, was beautiful, nicely updated and had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this property for any season of the year. A shout out to the Napoli's on the Lake restaurant, also.

We absolutely loved our stay here. This is by far the nicest rental home we’ve ever stayed in. Gorgeous house with phenomenal views of the lake. We cooked every night, so we really appreciated the awesome kitchen which is fully stocked. Toddler loved the little beach just behind the house and we played on it every single day. Since we were here in the fall, we took advantage of the gym, playground, and indoor pool, all part of the community access amenities. May was a phenomenal host and great to work with. She helped make our stay perfect. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here again. Thanks for a great stay!!

We had the most amazing time staying here! Great location to the pool and boat rental. This place is absolutely beautiful and even nicer than the pictures in our opinion. The upstairs rooms have their own AC which was an extra plus! The owner (May) was fantastic and so quick with responding. She was so helpful, extremely nice and even gave us a call to talk through some things. We would 100% recommend staying here and the lake was great (not too busy either)! We will be back Virginia :)

This place was fantastic, couldn't beat the location. The place was clean and beautiful. There is a sandy beach and a boat dock steps away from the rear slider, excellent views of the main part of the lake and mountains. The lake is beautiful with a lot of coves and islands to explore I would definitely stay again.

Family fun at Peaceful Haven!
We had a wonderful time at Smith Mountain Lake. It was our first visit to the area. The views from the home were amazing! Our grandkids were 1, 2 and 3 and the beach was a great option for them. We also rented a boat that we kept at the dock there so we ventured out into the different coves and pirate islands as my granddaughter called them. The water was beautiful and clean and we had most of the beach to ourselves during our stay. There wasn’t one item in the kitchen that you couldn’t ask for. Well stocked very clean… Everything was perfect :-)

Beautiful home at a beautiful location
The home was perfect for our needs. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and we never felt on top of each other. The house was clean and had everything we needed and then some. Best stocked kitchen I’ve seen with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, and so on. The location is perfect and easy to get down to the water where there is a small beach and docks which we used for our boat rental. The views out the back are some of the best the lake has to offer. Highly recommend staying here and we hope to go back in the future.

Amazing Smith Mountain Rental
We had a fantastic experience at this rental property. The townhome is in a perfect location on the lake and the view of the mountains and lake is breathtaking.
The townhome is beautifully remodeled with an amazing gourmet kitchen with every pot, pan, and utensil you could need. The rooms are tastefully decorated with everything that you could need and the beds are very comfortable.
The outdoor porches provide a beautiful view of the lake and have plenty of outdoor space and comfortable furniture.
The location on the sandy beach is perfect for swimming and the multiple docks in front of the unit are perfect for easily getting in and out if you rent a boat during your stay.
Our entire family ages 11-67 thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle boards as well.
The property manager is excellent and quick with her communication and responded immediately to any questions that we had.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at Smith Mountain Lake.

This home is one of the best we ever used on vacation. Furnishings and kitchen supplies outstanding, but the best part is the location and views of the Lake. No rental problems, owner easy to communicate with. Looking forward to visiting with them again!

Perfect Get-Away
My husband and 23 year old daughter, my husband’s sister and 28 year old son and I came for 4 days and had the perfect get-away. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed, including charcoal for the grill! We had planned to go on outings in the area, but the house was so comfortable, we only left to go to the grocery store! We will definitely come back! Thank you!

Amazing Location, Views, Home.
The booking experience was Simple and detailed. The property is gorgeous. The dock and beach area makes for easy swimming and use of lake toys(Kayaks, PB, Floats, Jet skis).
The House (townhouse (don’t be fooled by Condo wording.) is amazing. Plenty of space and privacy for many guests.
You never hear neighbors(you don’t have to whisper inside). Plenty of Good restaurants and Kroger grocery nearby.
The pool/clubhouse is only a short walk away.
There is another beach, and covered tables area near pool.
If you want EASY lake/dock access, Beautiful and fully stocked home, beautiful views and many Amenities….this is the PERFECT location for ALL Ages. We are in our 50’s, kids are 29/30….mom was 87(mostly flat areas for walking). The Perfect getaway for the week.

Paradise
This is a true vacation home, not just a rental property. It had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable— like great knives, fluffy towels, new pillows, and high end pots/pans. Really felt like home away from home. We spent mornings on the SUP/kayaks/beach and the evenings at the pool. The lake was the perfect temperature and the moon rises took our breath away. Check out was very simple with just a handful of instructions. Another reviewer mentioned bugs. It is a lake so there are bugs on all the properties. There were bug zapper rackets to use, a large bristle brush available, and a pest control service visits regularly. There were no mosquitos which made sitting out on the deck wonderful. Do not hesitate to book this place!

Best view on the lake
May was incredible responding to my emails within minutes. Lots of fun toys like paddle board, floats and kayak. Kitchen was well equipped and decorating was beautiful. The view is absolutely priceless.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!
This place is a must for anyone who wants a more upscale place to stay. Very nicely furnished and well stocked! The 3 levels give everyone privacy and the outdoor seating on top and bottom decks let you all come together and eat outside, and enjoy the beautiful views. Nice sandy swimming area that is especially good for children. The amenities at bernards landing were particularly enjoyed, especially their beach area and pools. Highly recommend this place!

Zoo with a view!
We had a wonderful stay at SML (so much so that we extended our stay by four days). This is a beautiful spot to isolate and WFH during Covid. Amazing views, and we were able to enjoy some family time despite remote school and work. Great high speed internet, and the owners provide a monitor , desk, and printer. The kitchen is well stocked, the house is relaxing and well appointed, and The Landing offers great takeout dinners. We will be back!

The best views on the lake
We’ve been coming to Smith Mountain Lake for 34 years. We stayed in many lovely places both homes and condos and this has got to be the best location with the best view. Our hostess May was remarkable responding to any question or request immediately. The house was immaculate, the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked! We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a place to meet my parents that was out of the way where we could be socially distanced - the first time we had seen them since Christmas due to COVID. We loved this condo. We were two couples so nice to spread out, but there was room for more. The view is probably the best on the lake with mountain in the background. We did curbside pick-up from Kroger for groceries (about 20 minutes away) and mainly stayed in with that great view. We also did take-out from the Bernard's Landing restaurant, which was excellent. May was wonderful to work with - very fast answering any questions. The unit was clean and fully stocked with hand sanitizer, disinfectant soap, and wipes (amazing since so hard to find). That made us feel even better.The unit itself is comfortable with room to spread out on 3 floors. We loved the deck - with curtains to shield the sun - along with the lower patio. This is part of a townhouse unit, but we felt private, and everyone was friendly. One note is that the loft bedroom is open to the living room, but there is a high wall so felt private. We weren't sure about this at first, but was fine. The decor is tasteful and happy - very well-supplied. We would stay here again and hope to be back.

Amazing family vacation
Peaceful Haven lived up to its name as we had a fabulous stay with two sets of parents and our two daughters. What a special place and experience. The views are truly breathtaking! We are already looking at the calendar for when we can return.

Great, well updated house with incredible views. We had 2 toddler's with us and they enjoyed the small beach area just outside the back door. There was something for everyone at this house.

Great Long Weekend at the Lake!
The views from the house were absolutely amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. My family stayed here over the holiday weekend and we couldn't have chosen a better place....walking distance to boat rentals & food, courtesy dock & sandy beach steps from the deck with expansive views of the lake, kayaks & a SUP available on-site, and tons of stuff to do in and around the condo. Everything was clean, fresh, and as advertised upon check-in. May was great about checking-in with us and extremely helpful!

Perfect Vacation!
We were a group of 6 - five adults and one child staying at Peaceful Haven for the second year and it was absolutely perfect. The layout of the condo is ideal for larger groups, with varying bed configurations and SO much room. The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking, something you don’t always find in a rental. The location of the condo is ideal as it’s situated really close to one of the beaches. We were also able to keep our boat at the dock directly in front of the unit. The property owner was very responsive and super friendly any time we had questions. Our group would highly, highly recommend Peaceful Haven and hope to stay there again next year!
