A perfect stay to calm your mind amidst the nature’s beauty

Location of the property is breathtaking and the view from the balcony was my favourite to enjoy the sunrise amidst the hills, lush green trees and the river

Çalışanların inisiyatifine bırakılmış, sahibinin ilgilenmediği bir işletme duygusunu yaşadım.

Güzel manzaralı bir odamız vardı, çalışanlar ellerinden geldiğince yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar, teknik olarak bir sorun yaşamadık.

Ancak mutfak standartların dışında pis ve kahvaltısı ödediğimiz ücrete göre oldukça kalitesizdi. 11 kişilik grubun içinde dört kişi hafif bir zehirlenme yaşadı. Kahvaltıda servis edilen omlet veya yoğurt ile bağlantılı olduğunu düşünüyoruz.

Buena relación calidad precio

Es un hotel con muy buenas vistas y buena relación calidad precio pero viendo el resto de hoteles de Sri Lanka con precios parecidos creo que no es de los mejores. Aún así las vistas por la mañana son preciosas y hacen que merezca la pena la subida hasta la cima

Worth for money we spend

Me and my Family stayed in the hotel for two days, we enjoy the breakfast ,great view ,Friendly staff, Family Friendly environment. Specially we liked the morning view from the dining area

Sicuramente si trova di meglio

Il panorama. La camera era spaziosa e pulita. Possibilità di mangiare nella struttura, ottimo wifi.

Non era disponibile l’acqua calda, per cui ci siamo dovute lavare con l’acqua fredda. La posizione troppo lontana dal centro. Molti membri dello staff non capiscono l’inglese.

Great place to stay!!

We went there for a family trip. The view we had was exceptional and the rooms were clean and well organized. And we had a nice time there. The staff was very welcoming and helpful as well. The breakfast was an English style breakfast with fresh fruits and was delightful. And I would say this is one of the best value for money resorts I’ve been to.

Not the most comfortable of stays but a beautiful view and polite staff.

The staff were lovely, cannot fault the staff and view amazing.

Room was very dirty, lots of mould in shower, wobbly toilet, stains on the throws for the bed and curtain. Dinner service was very slow and breakfast buffet average. Property is very far away from anything and quite hard to get to, many taxi drivers got lost.

Wonderful stay

Extremely professional stuff , location is awesome rooms and washroom is clean , decent breakfast .Temple of tooth is 1 km away and reachable by tuktuk Special call-out to elderly manager who is hardworking and so welcoming!

Hotel with potential but unfortunately in decay

When we entered our room, the sheets turned out to be dirty. This was immediately solved by a staffmember by covering the bed with clean (new) sheets. The rest of the room was okay, but quite dated. The bathroom was also just okay. The view was beautiful, except that the sliding door to our balcony was broken. The breakfast and food were okay but not restaurant worthy. Dirty tablecloths, glasses and cutlery didn't make it a good experience. I believe the staff did not recieve the right training to be restaurant personel but they did their best. All in all, a hotel with potential but unfortunately in decay. The photos make it look nicer than it actually is and the staff needs training.

The hotel's tuk tuk was way too expensive, the driver charged two to three times the fair price with an excuse that traffic would be busy. This was not the case at all. The tuk tuk was full of rubbish, speakers and other stuff so we could barely sit. For this reason we did not arrange the rest of our transportation and the transfer to the next location through the hotel. We did this for much less money through a good taxi company where we got a luxury bus including a well dressed driver and bottled water. When the hotel staff saw this we were given unpleasant looks.

Je komt voor het uitzicht.

Het uitzicht was fenomenaal, en het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Op het uitzicht na heeft het hotel weinig te bieden. Extreem gedateerde kamer (waar wij in zaten), met oude apparatuur wat erg veel herrie maakt. Gaten en vlekken in de bedlinnen. Schimmel op het plafond en in de badkamer. Slordig gepoetst, en overal mieren.

Good

Very hospitable and kind hotel crew. They do everything to make you feel at home, from matching breakfast to driving you around in their 'company tuk-tuk'. The views will make up for the slightly outdated interior, which by the way is still very comfortable.

An amazing property with huge potential which can easily be turned around with regular maintenance and upkeep.

We were so excited about staying at Ceyloni Panorama but were absolutely disgusted once we entered the room. The room was filled with insects. There were ants on the floor, in the bathroom near the towels and in the sugar packets which were kept for tea and coffee. Huge mosquitoes flying around the room and bathroom. A moth and two lizards in the bathroom. The lizards would come into the bathroom from the slotted vents, we have been to 5 other hotels in Sri Lanka and all of them had the same slotted vents but had a fine mesh that stopped insects from entering. The room was also not cleaned properly and there was so much dust and hair in the space between the shower and sink where a broom could have easily fit. The furniture as well was old and well past it’s due for a replacement. However our night in Kandy wasn’t completely ruined as after we showed everything to the manager he agreed to allow us to cancel without any charges and apologized repeatedly for the inconvenience and even offered to provide us with transportation to another hotel.
