Goed om x te overnachten maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding is totaal scheef.

De bedden waren prima

Geen ontbijt, Geen koffie in de koffie corner.

Heerlijke plek om er echt even tussenuit te gaan.

Heerlijke grote ruimte, echt een eigen huisje. Super fijn om de hond mee te kunnen nemen. Locatie is ook erg fijn, je steekt de dijk over en je wandelt in de uiterwaarden. Momenteel werkzaamheden aan de dijk, dus je moet nu iets verder lopen, maar nog steeds erg goed te doen. Aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar. Host was ook zo vriendelijk om ons een flesje wijn te brengen op verzoek <3.

De bedden waren niet bepaald 'ons ding'. Heel erg zacht, wij zakten er helemaal in weg. En heel veel muggen in de slaapkamer, maar ja, dat hangt natuurlijk samen met de locatie, het weer en het jaargetijde.

An amazing little oasis for a relaxing getaway

Such a beautiful, tranquil and relaxing place to stop and rest for two nights on our cycling tour. Big comfortable bed with sliding doors onto the garden terrace. Lovely big kitchen but a few amenities like salt and pepper would help those traveling through. Great shower and the outside space is what made it special for me. Would highly recommend. We were lucky enough to enjoy the dining experience in the garden next door, the chef cooking on the BBQ with local produce sitting amongst the large garden with chickens and mini horses. Amazing 🤩

Nothing but a few little supplies in the kitchen might be nice.

Lovely house with spacious kitchen dining area. And a sitting area with tv. Big bedroom upstairs with ensuite bathroom. Terrace with views over the fields and river in the background. Close to Gorinchem. Plenty to do in the area.

It is a shame the dike is closed in certain areas for renovations. At time of writing.

Serene location. Pictures met the expectations. Very romantic room. Great restaurant located on-site. Very personal and cozy!

The fireplace wasn't functioning, which was something we had looked forward to.

We loved the location, the kind and relaxed host, te decoration of the penthouse, the quiet and the beautiful location!

The bed was not really comfortable and bug screens for the windows would have been nice😊. Other than that, we loved our stay!

The place is very quite with a beautiful design. The owner is very friendly. We as a couple enjoyed the stay a lot. I highly recommend the place.

The wifi and internet connection in general was bad. But it was also good because we could spent more time witch each other then with our phones.

Very good

It was nicely decorated. We liked the fireplace. It's a very big apartment for 2 persons. Nice and quiet neighborhood. It was very cozy inside but at the entrance of the place it looked a bit run-down. We liked that we could bring our dog.

Too expensive. The tv didn't work. There was no manual. And you don't go phoning the owner at 11pm. There were cobwebs but overall it was very clean.

Highly recommend

The studio was lovely- very nicely decorated & the bed was incredibly comfy! The owner was friendly & available in case of any issues. The location is very quiet but nice for dog walks/a quiet night or weekend away.

Imaginatively decorated hotel at the bank of the Waal

Imaginatively decorated room with a nice roofed outside area in a pretty garden, just outside the (rather unattractive) village of Vuren. Very good restaurant, nice people. Take a bike or hike and there's lots to see on the banks of the Waal, like the town of Gorinchem (~8km), fort Vuren or Slot Loevestein (at the other side of the river, take the ferry!).

Wifi was very slow on the verge of unusable. Access is not suitable for disabled (extremely steep footpath) and this was not in the description. The breakfast on Saturday was good, in stark contrast to the one on Sunday: primitive and absolutely not worth the €10/person (hint for the proprietor: you bake excellent bread for diner in the restaurant, bake some more and add this).
