we had mixed feelings here. the room/ bathroom was really unclean, but it was also extremely cheap and right across from the break so we didn’t have super high expectations. the parties were great too, but they have 3 dogs chained up who bark a lot and are clearly really unhappy. they weren’t let out or interacted with at all (that I saw) in the 10 days I stayed there. it really upset me- please take better care of your animals, if not for them then for your guests

epic location right in front of the surf break, next to a roti shop and fruit stall. staff were so nice and it was really clean and comfortable

perfect accommodation for surfers

very well located. perfect for surfers. keep in mind that there is no air conditioning but it’s fine with the fan. also the noise from the street is loud but not too bad with earplugs. the view is worth it. for everyone who is complaining that this place is crazy loud - just on Tuesdays and everyone is pretty much aware of this. ;)

soap would be nice and when you shower the whole floor is on the water but that’s not really bothering.

Relaxing and enjoyable perfect place to relax and spend some time on the beach.

The property is right on the beachfront, you walk across the road and you’re on a tropical beach! It’s beautiful views and in our opinion some of the best value accommodation in Midigama. The building is nice and cool and there are fans, there is also a rooftop bar above you which is perfect for sunset beer. Super clean and well maintained plus central to Midigama and perfect walking location to everywhere also right in front of lazy lefts and lazy rights and next to a surf hire shop so you can walk out and go for a surf whenever you want. We were meant to stay 5 nights here and we ended up staying 2 weeks! Thank you so much you have a wonderful property.

Close to the surf spot

The location was very loud because of the Main Street and the parties on the rooftop. It is good for holidays but not for work as the internet was almost not working.

If you’re looking for great time with friends and music on the rooftop in the front of the best surf spots in Midigama this is definitely place for you!

Good location, decent place but nothing to write home about. Jaya’s place for the win.

Good location right across the street from lazies. Hostel has decent facilities, value for money is okay but there are better deals nearby (Jaya’s Place ;). Note that there is a party held at Layback every Saturday night with a DJ until 3am, if you’re not partaking in the party be sure to bring earplugs if you want to sleep, it’s very loud.

No major complaints really. However the hostel should probably post online about the fact that they host a party every Saturday.

Awesome view and clean rooms, absent staff

Very clean, awesome location ! Absolutely amazing view fir the price, you really cant beat it.

The staff wasnt really present. I didn't see anyone except the younger brother of the owner, and no one was available to ask for coffee or food at the restaurant. Wifi not available, you have ti go downstairs and ask a lady for the password and it only works on the ground floor patio.
