Okay. Wouldn’t recommend and would not go back. Far better options for less money in Croatia
It has a great location on the edge of cavtat. The hotel is spotlessly clean and if you like huge corporate feeling hotels then this will be ideal
Absolutely does not have a ‘holiday’ feel about it , built for corporate standards with a very small pool and seating area, same down on the beachside area, there are other seating places but miles from refreshments and facilities limited amenities generally. Small bar, restaurant is huge so no issue getting breakfast or dinner if you are staying but just incredibly impersonal and lacking the cohesiveness to make it special

Not recommended, you will find rooms in 3/4 stars for half price.
Location is great, the amenities also. The private seaside quite unusal and nice. The watertaxis to dubrovnik also.
Its not 5 star first of all. The hotel size, location, amenities and the prices of course (7eur glass of wine or beer) yes but: 1.worn off, you expect all details are well maintained in a 5 star and clean. Its not. 2. cleaners steal. Its not a big news, and you have the safe. But im not talking about the usual morning cleaners. In the afternoons and the evenings you randomly hear some knocks then if you not quick enough (5 sec) they already opened the door and coming in like "any rubbish"? The worst was at 8pm and 9.30pm(!!!) I got 50euro missing as first night was I in the restaurant with my daughter and stupidly did not use the safe. But the 9.30 pm one was really creepy as already in bed with a movie and one came in and one watched outside the corridor. Then she said sorry and out. I reported it to the night shift hotel manager but nothing happened. You dont expect this in a 5 star hotel. 3. The pools are open until 8pm but the staff start to remove umbrellas after 5... You come out from the water and no umbrella regardless your towels indicate its being used. 4. Breakfast cheap, the coffee, the croissant are the worst frozen ones, powder eggs... fruits are ok. 5. You have 3 lifts for ~200 rooms... no chance in peak time.

Great stay would recommend
The hotel and its area is very clean, although our room carpet seemed stained the rest of the room was clean and the view was amazing, sunset was very beautiful from the hotel grounds. Other than that the food was great, the dinner was delicious and the prices on drinks like most of Croatia seemed a little bit over the top charging upwards of 8€ for 200ml soda.

A blast from a previous era , not 5 star but an interesting place.
Great location in a beautiful village .
Poor (cheap all inclusive) food and soviet atmosphere . The owners also own the Sheraton nearby which is a superb hotel but with the Marriott oversight to standards. The gym/ spa/pool hours are restricted to 8-8 due to noise in rooms below but at least the gym should be available for a before breakfast workout.

Lovely hotel - horrible food!
The hotel itself was wonderful - there were lots of facilities, always very clean and most of the staff were so lovely. Check out is not until 12pm which is good as doesn’t feel like there is a rush to get you out.
- The food was awful! Do not go for half board as dinner was so bad every night (we were there 4 nights). Such a random collection of food and definitely focused on quantity not quality. Also some of the staff were really judgemental if you put a lot on your plate, it was really off putting. - Need better clarity of what time things opened, all signs said the sauna opened at 8am but twice I went down at 8:30 and was not open. - not every day were the cups changed in my room and new coffee/milk/tea sachets given.

Wonderful place, unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy it. We hope to return some day!

Fantastic stay , despite food issues at breakfast and evening meal
Good, but I know that breakfast stops at 10.30 , however from 09.40 there was no further fresh croissants and also on Friday 6th October there was no melon out , when I asked for melon the waitress did bring some out on a dinner plate , I just took 3 pieces , I did hear other people looking for melon too.
I did not like the fact that from 09.40 there was no refill of croissants etc , it felt like as it was after 9.30 there was no refill, and also no melon out. Also from 1st October there was no ice cream The food dishes were not replenished I. A timely fashion Out at evening meal , there appears to be food rationing in general, also serviettes in short supply.
