C est propre et la literie est confortable

Le personnel est très désagréable et peu compréhensif pour une serviette oubliée à la piscine et qu ils ont forcément récupéré ils nous ont fait payer 20 dollars …

Good place. We would stay there again.

Very clean and our room was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. I love they have a very nice GYM next door and you get to workout there during your stay.

The AC in the main room wasn’t able to cool it very well. All the other rooms were fine.

Safe, friendly, and close to everything

Perfect location. It’s close to the beach, 5th Avenue, and restaurants. We were able to walk to the ado bus station and take the bus to Tulúm which felt safer than the colectivos. The staff was friendly and it felt very safe and secure.

Great location right next to the fifth avenue, but side street so no noise. Specious rooms we requested one room with double bed and one with separate beds and it was as requested. full kitchen although we did not use it much, it was nice. feels private and safe.

The breakfast is not in the hotel. You get vouchers for two restaurants in the area.

Luxurious

The property was amazing- fitted out to a luxurious standard. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the organic toiletries lovely. The view of the trees in the courtyard from the pool was lovely and the jacuzzi was very relaxing. The location was great and the staff really helpful.

Good value and very spacious apartment

We had a two bedroom apt fully equiped. Very comfy and spacious. Kitchen is great. Beds were confortable. 5th avenue and restaurants were walking distance.

Its not a new apt. and maybe it need to be refurbished. you dont have sea view and the beach nearby is not the best to swim, No breakfast possible at the property. They offer to a hotel nearby but we didn't like it (the bakey in front was much better) Pool is not big, but nice.

Overall, it was a good experience for our family but I think the property is a bit overpriced for what you get.

The 3 bedroom penthouse was very spacious for our family of 6. The place was clean. The pool area is nice. The staff was friendly. Easy access to 5th Avenue and taxis for excursions. Concierge was very helpful and friendly.

The penthouse looks a bit aged and could use some updating and a new paint job - lots of scuffs and markings on the walls. It only had a countertop seating area with 4 bar stools which didn’t work for eating in with a family of 6. Based on pictures, I expected the deck to be really nice and a place to lounge at during the day, but it was really small, looked dirty and there were no loungers to sit in.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff.

The condo was very clean however it seriously needs updating. The paintwork and furniture are old and tired and the cooker/oven needs replacing as did not work.

Sun, cenotes, exceptional food.

The complex was in a great location and we loved the jungle themed planting that gave privacy and created such a wonder atmosphere in what is a very busy location. It was a refuge from the liveliness of Playa del Carmen. We had a 2 bed penthouse condominium which included a large roof terrace with sunbeds, hot tub, bbq and areas of shade to sit. We used this terrace extensively through out stay.

It would have been better had we had direct access to our roof terrace rather than up a shared staircase. A higher gate between terraces would also have given complete privacy between us and our neighbouring condominium. Sadly the huge influx of sargassum seaweed which has arrived early this year meant the beaches were not pleasant to visit. This is clearly a big issue for all the resort beaches. We were pleased to have the use of our complex pool as the sea was unpleasant at best. We were affected by the sulphur smell of the seaweed on several occasions.

Smack dab in the middle of it all

If you’re debating whether to stay at an all inclusive resort or this property, absolutely choose Porto Playa. My wife and I were so happy we did. You’re in the middle of it all. Mamita’s beach is a short 10 minute walk. All the restaurants and bars are right outside your doorstep.

great location - suitable for a short stay

Lovely pool in a quiet secluded resort just off the main Avenida. great brunch and lunch spots opposite. they decorated our room for our engagement which was very sweet. filtered water in the room was a nice touch.

the bedroom was quite dark and we were right on the corner where they were doing building or renovations next door. we went out the room early so it didn’t bother us too much but there was some noise and builders playing music early.

We had the 2 penthouse condos and they were lovely. I was a little concerned about being b so close to 5th Ave but if the doors were closed, there was almost no noise. Pool was very nice, everything worked well and staff was responsive. Well definitely book again.

We came in at 10pm and no one was at the front desk for about 15 minutes. We did let the hotel know what time we would be arriving. It was a little off-putting waiting in the street with luggage while tried and hungry
