Fabulous stay for first time Tokyo-goers. Ignore the comments about the noise, it’s silent.

Room was spacious and clean and smart. Excellent breakfast too! (Try the avocado, it’s delicious.)

Everything was lovely. Would have loved more time to browse the book selection while sipping our delightful sake in the lounge! Which was lovely too.

Nice place for one night as we departed Tokyo

The lobby area was fabulous as it had a super comfortable chairs- great place to hang out in the afternoon or evening and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff were so kind and attentive. Little things like an ice machine on the 5th floor, wine glasses in the room and a filtered water dispenser on each floor to fill up your water bottle were great touches!

The rooms were far smaller than anticipated. The carpet in the elevators needed to be changed. The metro was a tiny bit far and it seemed the connections I wanted to make were not a straight shot. There were not a whole lot of restaurant choices close by, but there were a few. With these things being said, I would stay here again

Lovely hotel in a good location

Really good location. 5 minutes from an underground station and about 10 minutes from the main JR line. Close to Tokyo Tower and only took 30 minutes to walk to Ginza if you feel like a break from the train. The staff were all super friendly and polite. Loved walking into to lobby and the little book rooms dotted about! We had a triple room for two adults and a teenager with 3 single beds (one set of bunks). Room wasn't huge but it was big enough and had a small seating area which was useful when we wanted to chill and have snacks. All three beds came with a set of various charging points which was amazing. Really impressed with the toiletries that were provided, covering all the things you might possibly have forgotten - toothbrushes, razors and all manner of other items. Breakfast was OK but we only ate in the hotel the first morning as we found other places that we thought were better value. The French bakery just round the corner was excellent!

The bathroom was rather small and, with two taller members of the party they said the shower ceiling was a bit low.

Uitstekend hotel in Tokio voor een prima prijs.

Prettige sfeer, zeer vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt en de locatie is prima.

De standaard kamers zijn aan de kleine kant en alle kamers zijn een beetje gedateerd. Maar wel erg fris en goed verzorgd.

Amazing staff. Great location. Top hotel.

Our flight arrived in Tokyo very early but the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating with providing an early check-in for us. The hotel itself is really interesting, with multiple floors dedicated to different types of literature (Art, Architecture, Music, etc.). The breakfast is brilliant and I would highly recommend. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It also included everything you may need (spare toothbrush, razor, slippers, etc.). Finally, we thought the location was fantastic. Very easy connection to the main Tokyo train station, as well as Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shimbashi and so on. Importantly, it's very easy to get to from Haneda airport.

We didn't dislike anything.

A good and elegant experience

Elegant hotel, excellent service, super strategic location in relation to the metro and monorail to the airport. Even though the concept of the hotel bar is extremely different for a European, we appreciated the quality of the offer available.

The restaurant is very expensive, at least for two double expesso.

Top notch hotel in Tokyo!

This hotel is really really good! Location: in a more business area, quiet and well served by transports. It also allows you to walk to many key locations. Next door you can find convenience stores, supermarkets and restaurants. Staff: the best you can imagine... really amazing people willing to provide the guests with a perfect experience! Restaurant: great breakfast with several options (local and western food). Best breakfast we had in Japan. We also had dinner and the food and service were great! We had sushi :) Very good value for money!

Not a deal breaker but it would be great to have a spa.

Lovely hotel in quiet area but easy to get around Tokyo.

Clean and comfortable. Provided lots of extras such as face wash, moisturiser etc.. Quiet location but easy to get around Tokyo as there are several subways within 10 mins walk. Liked the library theme of the hotel, reading nooks with interesting books. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

Perhaps more storage space however there was a around 5 hangers in each room. Ok for a short stay but may be difficult for longer stays. Know this is similar to other hotels around Japan. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt um Tokyo zu entdecken

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut angebunden an den Flughafen Haneda und mit der U Bahn ist auch sonst alles in Tokyo super zu erreichen. Gleich um die Ecke ist der Tokyo Tower und gute Restaurants, trotz allem sehr angenehm ruhiges Viertel. Die Zimmer sind für japanische Verhältnisse sehr groß, Wasserkocher und Tee vorhanden, sowie ein Fenster, das sich öffnen lässt. Auf jedem Flur gibt es kostenlos Wasser. Regenschirme werden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt und an der Rezeption gibt es ganztägig Kaffee und Tee

Cosy boutique style hotel

Location is very close to transport, quiet area close to the Zojo ji temple. The staff is so helpful and lovely, they let us check in early which was amazing after a 15 hrs flight, thank you! The room is cosy and super clean, plenty of amenities! Massive and comfy bed Very tasty breakfast!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

really good location close to mono rail to reach other locations and train station direct to and fro Haneda airport, Hotel - room was spacious, staff was brilliant and very helpful, very clean hotel, good amenities, books are provided for hotel guests to read in a relaxed reading lounge.

we stayed on a floor with certain asian family who were very loud during late nights - talking loudly from one room to another room down the hallway. should have complained but we didn't want to kick up a fuss.

A great stay in a very central location

The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The hotel's central theme, books, is charming, and it will be worth your while to hunt around their displays and bookcases - some really interesting pieces. We were there just before Christmas and loved their Christmas tree made out of stacks of books. The hotel is situated in the shadow of the Tokyo Tower, so it's really central and within minutes' walk of various subway stations, and of the monorail station from Haneda Airport. It's also very close to several restaurants, convenience stores and coffee shops. There are many staff members, all of whom were friendly and eager to assist. We returned to the hotel just before the end of the trip and they were happy to store a small suitcase until our return. I also had a package delivered there in between our two stays, which they received and kept safe for me until we returned.

Room cleaning is relegated to every two or three days. The wine in the foyer was surprisingly good, but at Yen 1000 for a very small glass, it was a bit expensive. Although it was turning cold outside, the temperature control in the lounge was set really high, and made it uncomfortable to spend time there. Something to get used to in many hotels, is the lack of packing space, so we mostly lived straight out of our suitcases. But this seems standard for most of the hotels we visited.

Awesome!

Excellent services from all the hotel staff. They were always serving with a smile and patient to respond to questions about transportation, restaurant recommendation. The location is also excellent - with 2 metros within 5 mins walk from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants, convenient stores nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff and as this was our first stop in Japan they really set us up for success with advice.

Not related to the hotel’s service but we did spend a lot of time figuring out transport as newbies! This is on a different train line (Oeda) than Tokyo Metro -make sure you understand train lines and ticketing. We spent a lot of time in the subway station figuring out tickets as can’t buy IC cards (suica passport) for tourists at closest Daimon station and suica on apple wallet needs a separate phone per travelling person.

My stay was average for what I expected to be very nice accommodation but in a very nice location.

I liked the location of this facility. I loved the library and relaxation areas.

Although there were 2 "bathrooms" for a room with 4 beds, there was 1 toilet and 1 shower (different bathrooms). The room was very cramped, looked much bigger in the pictures. How was the breakfast we paid extra for, not sure. We arrived a minute late as the only elevator that appeared to be in service went on a journey hitting every floor including one above us (despite us pressing the down button and it showing the elevator going down). We were shunned away (no apology or any kind of offering of like a piece of fruit/cereal box). The restaurant was full of people that were actively eating. The extra step to make sure your visit is positive just seemed to be lacking despite the cost.
