Pleasant. Good location.

Cleanliness. The staff was also accomodating with the check in time as we arrived earlier than expected, since the room was ready they allowed us to go inside which was a relief considering the heavy bags we had.

De locatie tegenover centraal speelveld bij de kerk van Ambleside was fantastisch. Na 5 dagen Engels ontbijt was het contenetal breakfast met veel vers fruit een heerlijke, en welkome afwisseling. Prima kamer voor.4 personen met licht afgescheiden ruimte voor de 2 kinderen.

Good cold buffet breakfast Room was clean with excellent bathroom and shower

A quick comfy night after some wet wild camping

The location and staff were superb. Easy to park and a quick walk to town. Our top floor room looked out over the tennis courts and mini golf which was nice and quiet.

Breakfast could include a full English option for the price point but there was still a good choice and it was all nice and fresh. The heating was cranked right up throughout the property so beware if you feel the heat like me. T shirt and shorts are needed for breakfast

Great location and facilites, comfy bed and fantastic shower - perfect after a day's working!

Great location and quiet on a night. Fantastic power and hot shower. Nicely kept room with comfy bed and good provisions in the room for a short stay. Very enjoyable stay.

Oversight on my part when booking. Two extra costs I wasn't prepared for on arrival: £10 per night to park at the property and £10 per day for a continental breakfast. The room appeared cheap when booking but the deconstructed nature of the pricing was a little misleading. I will learn to read the small print better in the future. I really enjoyed my stay regardless. A couple of long black hairs in the room on arrival, which isn't great. One on the dressing table and one hanging on the hook on the door where the 'Do not disturb' sign was.

Very good B&B in Ambleside

Liked the family room with a separate area for the 3rd bed (with own TV). Bathroom looked to be newly fitted and was roomy with good shower with two shower heads, and the whole room was very clean.

Would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but overall the food was very good anyway.

The view is open and amazing, clean spacious room , breakfast was fine but no halal food. Staff are very helpful. About 10 -15 minutes walk to the lake. Supermarket is 5 minutes away.

Location was excellent. Room was clean and beds very comfy. Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice.

There was four adults staying and we found that it needed a row coat hooks next to the front door. It rains a lot in the lake’s and we struggled to dry out clothing. A row of simple inexpensive coat hooks would have made our stay perfect. A mini fridge would have been handy, but not essential.

Great place to stay would definately stay again if returning to Ambleside

Great location easy to walk to all the restaurants shops etc. It was very clean and the breakfast offered a lot of variety and very good value for £10 per head

When you first book it doesn't say you have to pay extra for parking in the hotel car park

A stunning town. The hotel is within walking distance of the center and the restaurants. Lovely staff and the room was huge and very comfortable. From there you can get on a bus to all the surrounding villages.

Very central location in Ambleside. Lovely modern rooms and plenty of paid parking available.

Exceeded expectations and is ideally located for the town and for exploring further afield.

Checked in online, speeding things up on arrival. Room was beautiful, recently completely refitted and the bathroom was particularly impressive. Breakfast was excellent self service continental with a good selection. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and happy to help.

Not sure anything could have been better!

The breakfast was very poor I think in your sales, it said it was a really good breakfast Well, it wasn’t Probably one of the most basic breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel

In your sales brochure, it said parking I didn’t expect to have to pay £10 to park my car for one night You should be clear about things like this when advertising is HOTEL
