Perfect place to stay

Comfortable traditional house with high ceilings and large rooms. Good quality furnishings, bed linen and towels. Efficient heating when required Breakfast delicious and owner and staff courteous and friendly. A relaxed atmosphere throughout.

Very nice Guest House. Wonderfull people. Everything we needed to make our stay Perfect.

We were a group of 5 friends on a trip to Speyside to visit distilleries. We felt Welcome right from the time we arrived at Moraydale Guest House. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were nice, clean and cosy, and we got clean towels daily. Breakfast was delicious and we could use the dining room in the evening for a nightcap before bedtime. We can highly recomend Moraydale Guest House and would go back anytime.

Nothing at all we disliked. Everything just Perfect. Big thumps up.

Lovely, well kept property but didn’t like the the very small shower room that had been created in the bedroom.small bat

The breakfast was lovely and the welcome in the morning was fantastic

The welcome when we arrived wasn’t good. I know we were an hour later then expected but the traffic wasn’t good but we were made to feel really bad

Handsome Victorian house, immaculate, very comfortable.

Good breakfast for what I had - tasty smoked haddock and poached egg. Many cereal choices and fruit available.

Rather expensive for what you get, nevertheless.

Very centrally located accommodation and we were made to feel very welcome.

The room was cosy, breakfast was lovely, with a wide choice from fresh fruit and yoghurt to a full cooked breakfast, and the hostess and her helpers were friendly.

Highly recommended, close to the town centre.

Our hostess was very welcoming, the accommodation was clean and inviting and the breakfast was excellent. The parking was off-road and spacious. The shower was a little disappointing in terms of water pressure but it was an upstairs room in a period house, so only to be expected really

Being on the main through-route of the town, the street lighting was a minor disturbance. Although there were blinds, the curtains were purely ornamental. A darker room would certainly have ensured a more restful sleep for me but it's a very personal thing. On a side note; not easily accessible for those with mobility issues due to the stairs, though I believe there is at least one downstairs room, so perhaps this is disability adapted.
