Flott hotel - Anbefales på det sterkeste

Helt fantastisk! Flotte herskaplige rom. Gode dyner, puter og senger. Veldig fint bad med veldig god dusj. Flott frokost. Bra beliggenhet med gangavstand til sentrum.

Long wknd relaxation

Beautiful building facades; decent decor inside entrance; very quiet Massive + 👌 cannot fault staff efforts in accommodating or needs

It could do with some TLC. The room originally given was not pleasant; the hotel has had 10mths to do maintenance work and it fails ?? We opened the patio door to very long grass WHY ?? The curtains and blinds wr jus about hanging; they moved us immediately to a superior room ( very nice ) but still needed some freshening but it was very quiet superb king size bed 10/10

Relaxing but seen better days

This is a lovely hotel but it does feel like a faded jewel. Location is lovely - peaceful yet close to centre of Elgin. Bedrooms are lovely Nice lounge and bar

Restaurant is closed for dinner. Swimming pool is closed. It’s a lot less special than it once was sadly.

Disappointing

Lodge room was comfortable, clean and nice bathroom. Good location in town. Service at breakfast was good.

The hotel is in desperate need of investment and upgrading. It feels and looks very tired and nowhere near 4 star. No evening meals offered is poor. Seems the hotel can't attract a chef or staff.

Lovely place but disappointing service

Lovely building and rooms, staff were lovely but not enough of them

The restaurant was closed so no evening or lunchtime meals available, pool was closed no one serving at the bar in the evening either, waited 40 for breakfast after ordering it.

Excellent, so relaxed and so enjoyable.

Hotel,was in a perfect location, very close to town centre but very quiet. Plenty of on-site parking. Hotel was super cosy, comfortable, friendly and relaxed. Beds were so comfortable and room and every part of the hotel so warm and comfortable.

Not as good as expected

Great building our room was amazing although the picture didn’t match the actual room a big let down but still nice. The bathroom was not completed either and curtains around the bed were missing

No restaurant was terrible we were really looking forward to it there but had to order in and it was crap so a big let down the room wasn’t as good as in the pictures and the bathroom was still under construction or something not a good look

Excellent hotel with beautiful room and warm friendly staff

Temperature in room was far too hot but opened window - it’s personal preference as I like a really cold room so no fault of the hotel who have to cater to everyone

A luxury break which was excellent value for money.

The decor and the room was lovely. The beds were comfortable and breakfast delicious. The staff were wonderful: friendly, warm and very accommodating. The man on reception was lovely and helpful, so was the lady from housekeeping.

Always welcomed like old friends.

We always stay at the Mansion House when visiting Elgin and Room 14 is our absolute favourite with its fabulous king-size sleigh bed and quirky wall decor!

Unfortunately, the dining room is currently only open for breakfast so evening meals necessitate a short trip into town.

over priced and in need of a make over

stunning property from the outside located just outside the town with plenty of parking

room had damp patches on the ceilings from leaking roof carpets in the stairs threadbare in places no food in an evening a email or call would have been polite as had driven 8 hours only to be told they had no chef was then given a list of places to ring and try and find a table on a Friday night no explanation from the receptionist on what was available at the hotel

The breakfast staff were very nice and provided good service.

There were no restaurant facilities available for dinner within the hotel. The bathroom was very nice but the bath/ shower within the bath was quite difficult to access.
