Noisy hotel … the walls are made of paper Noisy airco with medium cooling Lot of robotics that show modern but hard to control or shut down We had paid in advance for 2 night but left after one night … and staff didn’t even bother to ask why … And we just don’t like the shower and toilet integrated with the room

if I ever come again to Lugano I will stay at The view.

I liked the location and how close you can reach Paradiso.

I didn't like the way the staff was disorganized, I have planned a birthday surprise for my wife and they only managed to put in 5 balloons and a bouquet of flowers, disregarding the dinner I have planned with them to do so which was very disappointing. On top of the lack of communication and zero attention to detail, I have received a call from the front desk receptionist Giulia talking to me aggressively and raising her voice over the phone. I'm not sure if I am the guest at the hotel or she is? furthermore, Giulia continued her lack of communication and poor guess relation skills so I ended up speaking to her supervisor. moreover, upon check out they have placed our luggages into someone else's car and luckily we spotted it and stopped the other guest. what a disaster from their team. despite the great location of thd hotel I am not going back to this hotel because it did not live up to a 5 start hotel standards.

The complimentary electric smart cars and electric bikes were a great surprise The hotel's view of the lake (most rooms) The room was spacious

Our room had a single key. An actual key, not the card ones. A disclaimer in our room pointed out that if the key is lost, we would have to pay 1000 francs! That was a little stressful.

lovely place! Will return when next in Lugano

almost all the staff were extraordinarily helpful. (one was only just helpful enough, on reception when we left) the junior suite was amazing . the food was outstanding and service impeccable

the soundproofing. we heard the murmur of voices next door until 1.30am . there are equipment lights inside the room which we needed to cover up to stop lighting the room.
