Sylvia was absolutely phenomenal! She went above and beyond to ensure we was well looked after. A super experience in a beautiful setting with lovely character. Well worth the money and we shall definitely return again soon!

Very good

The handsome old house has thick walls, which kept it very pleasantly cool. We had the pool entirely to ourselves. Adorable cat. Our hostess was friendly and cheerful. We were recommended a nearby restaurant, which was spectacularly good.

Patchy WiFi. Bed was on the hard side.

Amazing!

This place was more than we expected for such a low price. Silvia is amazing and such a kind person, she cared about us so much! Rooms were big, warm and clean, bed was very comfortable. I wish we could stay here for longer. But we will definitely will come back with our whole family :)

Wonderful in all respects.

9 Arches was a wonderful surprise at the end of a very long overland journey from the UK to Portugal. We were met by Sylvia who showed us round all the facilities and made us feel very welcome. The property has been fully upgraded by Sylvia but still retains all of the original charm whilst modern facilities including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room have been added. The room itself was very comfortable as was the bed. Guests may if they wish use the kitchen to prepare meals although there is a very nice restaurant within walking distance. I will definitely recommend 9 Arches to friends.

Superb

It's an amazing property and house. Silvia and her team in and around the house are very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay there and would come back anytime. It felt like they shared their home with us.

A hidden pearl.

We were just passing by on our trip to Nazaré, but needed somewhere to stay the night. Thankfully we found this little paradise. Very warm welcoming by the host Silvia, clean and beautiful rooms and a wonderful pool, made a lovely stay. Thank you Silvia for letting us visit ”your” place.
