Beautiful location with wonderful hosts (and a nice restaurant too)

This was a beautiful property. It is far above the city with fantastic views. The property is a converted monastery and most of the rooms were in a large main building. Our room was in a smaller building which was nice. The property also had an old church on site which someone was using to practice organ every day. We took the shuttle up to the property and after getting checked in took advantage of the restaurant which was wonderful. The included breakfast was great in the morning. The next morning we made a mistake in walking down to town and ended up taking a much longer hike that normal. We hiked over to Vernazza and had a wonderful diner. We had planned on taking a taxi back since it was too late for shuttle - well easier said than done. We took train back to Monterosso but it was pretty much impossible to get a taxi. We ended up calling property to see if they had any ideas and the owner sent her husband down to pick us up @10pm. Can't get better service than that. We basically had to force them to accept some money in return.

Great location unfortunately without wifi

The wonderful view over the Monterosso coast, Francesco's shuttle service to Monterosso, the location in general, the breakfast...

WiFi didn't work in the rooms, the restaurant service was often overwhelmed, the food was ok but of varying quality.

Fantastic Stay

The property has stunning views of Monterosso beach. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the bedroom windows was amazing too.

The only issue is reaching the property is only possible by road or walking. The walk is roughly 45-60 minutes up the hill and by car it takes 15-20 minutes. Though the hotel has a shuttle service twice a day but that restricts your tour planning. It is better suited for travellers with own vehicles

Stunning view, very convenient location, great value for money, comfortable and clean room!

The view of the sea was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was very good. Definitely try the lemons when you get the chance. The room was very clean, everything was just right for a two person short stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect if you want to visit the Cinque Terre. It is best if you drive a car but the property also provide a limited seats shuttle service, which I find to be very thoughtful.

A very nice stay!

You can get a minibus to collect you from monterosso station if you call beforehand. It will also take you back the next day, everything included in the booking price. Breakfast had everything you need and extra. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The bed was like sleeping on a rock, not any softness at all.

Scenic and historic accommodation overlooking Monterosso is great for food and hiking.

Located adjacent to an medieval chapel, the views overlooking Monterosso are truly astounding. A trail descends right from the property into the city and as long as you are OK with the steep terrain, it is a magnificent place to hike. The accomodations were easy to access and comfortable for the night. The restaurant located at the hotel is exceptional, both dinner and breakfast were delicious and hearty to help fuel adventures.

The rooms themselves are very simple, with a minimum of amenities. The roads to access the property are typical of all of Cinque Terre, winding and time-consuming to traverse. If you don't like hiking, it could feel a little isolated.

Very good

The view from the room window was breathtaking. The place is very quiet, far from the busy touristic areas. The restaurant is simple and unpretentious, the food healthy and tasteful.

There is a shuttle to Monterosso, but the timetable is rather sparse. Better drive there. Not exactly walking distance, unless you want to spend a good part of the day just to get there and back.

Good room for a great price.

The property was away from the crowds. Beautiful view of the bay. lots of hiking trails. They had a restaurant on site with reasonable prices. Very friendly staff.

The room was tight and felt humid. We couldn’t figure out how to use the a/c. The shower space was tight as well. But for someone looking for no luxury you can’t find anything like this for the cost. So it was a great price.

Very good place to stay as it's not in the middle of the town. Quiet and secluded.

Saviore is a very small town tucked up in the hills overlooking Monterosso al Mare. It is an older former monastery but the room we had was very clean and comfortable with a great patio overlooking the hillside. For this location, you will either need your own car, use a taxi service, or base your travel on the hotel's shuttle service; walking to town isn't really an option. Elizabetta was very helpful with everything and the restaurant food was excellent.

A great view and very nice staff

The view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous. Worth staying for more than a day in order to enjoy the view. The staff is very nice and the breackfast was a traditional italian colazione with good coffee and croissant plus bread with gem and butter. Even though it is not situated in Moterrosso, they offer a free shuttle to the city and back, just need to ask and prenote.

It is impossible to get there after 7:20 pm, so you need to make sure you get there in time for the last bus to Soviore, or else there is a 2h walk to get there. We had tea, coffee and a waterheater in the room, the only problem is that the connection of the waterheater was not suitable to any of the socket.

AMAZING location. Views can’t be beat. Breakfast brought the review from 7 to 8. Staff friendly. Rooms were also cute. Would return here.

AC was broken and no discount given. Tried to call for reference on taxi service, since you need it to get up there, and would not answer. Would have been nice to have that information in advance.

The room was a bit small. You need to car to reach to the beach or the center but the hotel provides a shuttle that goes to the center and beach in the morning and in the evening. The room was clean.

Over priced even for Monterosso

The property is in a nice location with beautiful views of the sea, though it’s a 45 minute walk down to the coastline. There is a bus that leaves from the property around 9.30 and 10ish. Return bus is around 6.30 and 7pm from monterosso back to the property.

The rooms were very small, we could barely fit our luggage in, and the wifi was non existent in the room, and even normal phone reception was hit or miss. The house is part of a larger property that has a hostel attached to a church and means there is a strange mix of people on religious retreats and drunk young students who showed a disregard for other people’s privacy and peace. There was no remote control for the aircon in the room and the lights were left on in the courtyard very late (after midnight) which shone into the room. That coupled with the drunk teens made for an uncomfortable night of trying to fall asleep.
