Great location, amazing apartment.

Amazing location, great property with facilities that make a holiday feel more homely. I can’t fault this stay and would have loved to stay for longer. So much to see and do within walking distance or a short Uber.

The jumbo toiletries which didn’t really work. But I had my own so it didn’t matter but if you are relying on their toiletries you might be disappointed.

Location is good

The floor was dirty, my white socks were black at the end of the day. On top in the bathroom the sink was clogged

Good stay in East Austin, once you manage to get in…

Property was clean (more in that later). Centrally located, was where we wanted to be. Mattress is comfy. Only there for a night but expect it’s got what you need for a longer stay. Parking downstairs $35 a day, pretty standard.

Had a total farce with checking in and ID verification. Got there in the end but was a pretty frustrating hour. When we arrived 35 mins after the 4pm check in, the cleaners were still there so we had to hang around and wait for them to finish. Some annoyances: - sheets feel cheap - you need to use your own device to cast to the TV if you want to watch anything - uncomfortable ‘leather’ pillows on the sofa - no hand towels in the bathroom - no hand soap Generally it was a good stay and the apartment is well appointed, but the carry on with getting into the place sort of tainted it.

Great until it was’nt

quiet and comfy

The staff bombarded me after check out…I had already informed other staff of my situation. When he opened the door, I was half naked ..he continued to inform me of guidelines with total disregard that I had only a shirt covering my breast. Creep!

Sonder + Austin = Perfect!

Our accommodations were absolutely wonderful. Sonder offered us a home away from home right in the heart of Austin. The location was convenient to most of the city either by walking (we would walk anywhere from 3-6 miles per day because that is our chosen way to see a city) or by ride share services. Great places to eat and drink are just a few paces away with tons of dining options. Staying at Sonder was certainly more comfortable than staying in a hotel. A full kitchen with utensils and laundry amenities made every day tasks easy. The bedding was lush and comfy, plenty of towels and a deliciously hot shower were soothing after a day of exploring the city. Coming home each evening to a cozy livingroom with a balcony and awesome view made our stay extra special.

Directions and entry to Sonder. Despite being provided VERY detailed instructions for how to enter, it was still a challenge to find from the street. During our stay we helped several very lost travelers locate the entrance.

great lcoation

Great location, great facilities, overall a good experience

I forgot something and reported it 2 hours after doing the check out and they took long to provide an update which ended up being they could not find it. We are sure we left it behind so it was a dissapointing experience since we couldnt recuparate the item. They have a centralized call center so its hard to go back into the building if you have already checked out and pick up anythign you might have left behind.

Great Location. The apartment was Very clean space and safe.

Inconvenience how to get into the building. Only one fob to enter the building. The key pad to enter was broken. You had to go back to the entry to let others in the building.

Good location but not a balcony as described

The location

Booked a studio with balcony but there was only a door you could open but no balcony. Tried to reach out to the staff, one of them told that they would look at some kind of compensation but then they told that this was a “Juliet balcony” which is a balcony according to them. Our opinion is that a balcony is something you can go out to.

Good stay for short vacation in Austin

Nice clean room with good light, made good use of their pool, communications were clear and timely.

Difficulty Identifying building, not made for light sleepers since you can clearly hear the neighbors walk.

Spend a bit more and stay at a hotel where daily service is available.

There was no breakfast available at this location. The kitchen was well stocked for easy meal prep.

We stayed for 8 days, we had enough coffee for 2 days. We asked for more and were told there were only two packets allowed per stay. We then had four more delivered, with no extra creamers and sweeteners. We ended up buying our own. There was no laundry service available, sheets has to be washed by us if we wanted clean bedding. The mattress was hardly a mattress at all, it was very thin and quite uncomfortable. Going forward I'll take my son's advice and book no more than 2 nights at a given property. That way if I don't like the accommodations I can book another room somewhere else. In this case I would have done that.

as it’s in a residential block , inevitably there was noise. hard to sleep on Friday night. also constant footsteps from the floor above was annoying

best vacation in a city i’ve had

Location - restaurants and shops… all in walking distance. Rented bikes on 2nd st and bicycled around the lake.

Value for money exceptional. Just make check in easier please!

As nice if not nicer than a hotel - for a longer stay it would be even more ideal! I was traveling for SXSW and it was really close to the venue for much more reasonable a price. Very pleased! The gym was also nice, I didn't use the pool, it was too cold, but it also looked nice. The apartment was spacious, roomy, clean, nice bathroom, not too loud at night, wifi worked great, the codes were easy to use and I'd definitely stay here again.

Arrival was stressful - I did not understand where the entrance was - you pass the parking garage but it's actually INSIDE the garage which isn't clear (and doesn't feel intuitive arriving at night) - the codes, everything worked great but it was stressful to arrive. I recommended they update the check in instructions to be clearer - and they'd benefit from a sign outside the garage just indicating you're in the right place, as the street address covers a wide block and the entrance is around the corner.

Superb

The location is great, the apartmenet is situated in a new area with many options to eat, a supermarket very close and several alternatives for parking.

If I have to say something negative there are details such as; the door to the main suite bathroom was not functioning well. The main table was for four people but the apartement accomodates six. And the check in process is way too complicated.

Great location, noise travels

Great location for 6th street and has good amenities nearby, target, whole foods etc

The noise travels so much in the building. The people above us would come home at 2am and river dance in high heels for an hour

mysteriously cancelled and refused my reservation

I provided all information for check in then they sent me an email saying after reviewing my details they aren’t progressing with my reservation (hours after booking and right before check in). I contacted them to see what was going on, I’m a business traveller not exactly looking to tear up an apartment. Called them and they said somebody would get back to me - they never bothered.
