Wonderful option in Old Town

I loved my stay. Here are my pros: - right in the heart of old Town and close to everything cool - staff is great, especially the woman from South Africa (I'm terrible with remembering names) - bunk beds are super comfortable and sturdy, spacious locker below - nice pillows and linens

I loved my stay but the hostel is a bit of a labyrinth with lots of stairways and hallways

Great hostel!

This hostel has a really good vibe, as a solo traveler it was easy to meet people. The beds were pretty confortable, the facilities were a bit old but clean. The location is perfect and the receptionist was very nice. The doors of the room and of the shower can lock. Just think about bringing a padlock and a towel!

Very kind and helpful staff. They even offer some cool activities like going to a karaoke bar. It's clean and the common area is very cosy. Loved it there.

After my first night, decided not to stay the second night as I had a horrible experience. I asked for a refund and wasn't even given an answer. No one from the reception replied my messages on Booking.com.

Worse stay ever!

Nothing!

Party hostel and very noisy area. Woke up in the middle of the night when a drunk guy stood out of bed and started peeing on the floor, right next to my bed. Told the receptionist, who was overwhelmed by the situation, offered me a private room, which on the system was showing as unoccupied but when led me to the room, it turned out someone was already there. Then he offered me to change to another dorm, but he didn't even give me clean linen. The next morning I complained at the reception and they only offered me a partial refund. Worse stay ever!

Hubane peatuspaik soodsa hinnaga.

Hommikusöögi majutusasutuses ei pakuta, seega organiseerisin selle ise. Aitäh küsimast, oli väga maitsev. Kõik söögi valmistamiseks ja säilitamiseks on köögis olemas. Einestamiseks on olemas söögilauad.

Ei esinenud ühtegi faktorit, mis majutuskogemust oleks rikkunud.

Was a very comfortable place in the mid of old town and very close to places to visit in tallinn. The bed was so clean and cozy. I stayed in the female dorm. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Günstig, aber viel Luft nach oben

Die Lage ist super, die Betten sehr bequem und man lernt leicht Leute in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen kennen.

Es fehlen überall (an den Betten, in den Zimmern, in den Bädern und Duschen) Ablageflächen. Besonders sauber ist es auch nicht und als ich da war, im Herbst, war es ziemlich kalt und zugig im Gemeinschaftsraum und auf den Fluren, da das Haus sehr alt ist. Der 10er Dorm ist sehr klein und eng und direkt vor dem Fenster ist eine Lüftung, die sehr laut ist.

Świetna lokalizacja, raczej dla mniej wymagających podróżnych na krótki pobyt.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja i nieźle wyposażony bar.

Czystość łazienek i ogólne zużycie mebli, wykładzin, podłóg - przydałby się remont. Szafki były na kłódkę, którą trzeba było wykupić w recepcji.

Reserve una habitación femenina de 6 camas y me dijeron que ya no existían, femenina eran solo de 10 o mixta de 6. Además hay que dar mucha vuelta para llegar a tu habitación. Limpieza bastante mejorable

Good for the price

Good location, very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Tallinn is a small town so hostel was perfectly located, close to everything.

Room was not very clean, there were parts that clearly aren’t cleaned very often. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a lot of noise coming from the street. I barely slept my first night due to that and I was not the only one. It would also be great if each bed had a little lamp to avoid having to turn on the big lights during the night when others sleep (or try to).

Authentically medieval building in the center of old town with great facilities and staff.

Overall, five stars. The location was perfect, the staff were helpful, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were sufficient, the kitchen was good, the common areas were nice. The building itself is really cool, too.

The bar and laundry were surprisingly expensive considering I'm already paying for a bed. Normally you expect the hostel bar to be cheaper than nearby bars (otherwise what's the point, right?) but it was just as expensive if not moreso. Laundry was also ten euro, which was steep.

The location was good, right in the middle of the old town.

it's hard to write such a negative review, but I hope it will be useful for others - the 7.9 rating is way overrated. 1) soundproofing - you could hear it very well from the outside, because the windows barely held in the window frames, in the hostel itself there was a hand dryer next to the bedroom - loud, where it was used all night; 2) cleanliness - sheets with non-washable stains must be changed; 3) very poorly equipped room, a towel cost 2 EUR and a deposit for the keys - really? 4) the feeling was when the house is in a state of emergency and technically everything is bad there (even the curtain rod was broken, a little thing that could be fixed in a few minutes).
