Amazing picturesque views from mountain top lodge for a leisurely holiday home easily accommodate 4 couples or 2-3 families.
The retreat spans a 2895 square meter with spectacular unsurpassed view of the city, Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and adjoining rural farmland. This multi-level, cedar weatherboard and slate roof, 320 square meter lodge with floor to ceiling picture windows captures superb landscape and all day sun. With spacious versitile living areas leading to a step down snug with soaring stone fireplace, the perfect retreat is furnished with whole set new furniture. The well-equipped modern roomy kitchen and dining room lead to the north west wing with the seperate master suite on the upper level boasting a walk through dressing room and generous ensuite with rural view.
Two bedrooms offer bird's view of the entire Rotorua basin in every direction, the entire city, lake, forestry, Gandola Mountain and thermal area such as Te Puia and the other two bedrooms provides spectacular forest views.
Expensive lawn arear and the deck with sensational unobstructed landscape and outdoor table and chairs welcome guests basking in the sun, enjoyog the stroke of breeze, indulging in the beauty of rosy clouds in the morning and in the evening.

Property is great, massive house, sleeps a lot of people comfortably, has a big walkthrough garden Unfortunately the property is let down but a few fixable issues, one towel per person and no extra linen available is not enough for 3 days, does have a washing machine but I'm not on holiday to do housework, one of the showers was dirty, left over shampoos, hair in blocked drain etc. The Garden is badly overrun and the steps have rotted out exposing rusted nails etc so nice to look at but be careful walking through it Owner also contacted me a few days out trying to get me to cancel and book from another site sighting issues with bookabach, this is not the stress i needed a few days out from my stay and made me doubt the house even existed. Overall great property but expect a bit of stress

Oven was out of order, table too small for 12, no teapot or anything for coffeefiltering. Beds are good, we had to ask for more towels. The location is good with a nice view.. the whole place especialy the outside is in need of TLC.. We loved Rotorua and its attractions.

Lovely big home, which suited our big family but some areas needed 'cleaning attention' - showers/kitchen - the kitchen needed some home comforts - there were only 2 pots - in poor condition - no serving dishes - dirty dishcloths and none to replace them - no extra's like gladwrap, foil, salt and pepper!!! - disappointing - certainly not a family set up like the 'book a bach' we usually rent - lawns needed mowing - piles of leaves needed cleaning up - on a plus - great comfy beds - plenty towels

The location and the lodge was very important as we wanted a place that could show our whanau and friends the beauty of Rotorua. The views are amazing and lodge is very comfortable. A great hide away and would love to come and stay again. Thank you:)

Mum's weekend away. We (six Mum's) had a wonderful time. Home is spacious and warm with the most spectacular views over the city. So lovely, we did not venture into town for dinner, instead dined in. We all agreed we would book again at Panorama Lodge. :-)
