One of the best hotel in Nijmegen

I loved the main hall and its colors. The music they played was extremely chill and upbeat and made my breakfast even better. My bedroom was very nice and bright, with a huge glass wall overlooking one of the main streets. It went past my expectations. Loved it and recommend.

The fan in my room was a bit noisy, so I had to choose whether to sleep with that on or with open windows, hearing noise from the main street. Not a big problem to fix anyway.

Pauw is an ideally located hotel for all amenities, and a short walk from the main train station.

Exceptional

Very nice hotel, restaurant underneath, great location. What I liked most was the greeting, a note with a peacock feather, a very nice welcome. 👍👍👍👌😁

Good

The hotel is in the Grote Markt, best location in town. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was also very good. The bathroom (shower and toilet) were quite new.

The beds and linens felt run down. There was a lot of noise from the pigeons in the alley behind the hotel. The windows did not insulate the noise.

Would be fabulous for a stag party stay, not a family get-away

Location was fantastic

Staff were great, but I got the impression that it's very much a hotel to serve the pub/restaurant below. Rooms are EXCEPTIONALLY basic, everything pretty much bolted to the floor - looks like the type of spot accustomed to hosting stag parties :)

The location is perfect, the staff is nice.

The room is too hot, the vegan dish plate consists only of cheese and is way to expensive

Bathroom across the hallway from your room

I booked the property on booking.com, seemed like a nice hotel with en-suite bathroom.

When I arrived at the hotel I was given a card to my room and a key to the bathroom. I was a bit confused so asked why there is a key. I was informed that my bathroom is across the hallway! I always book en-suite rooms only and that’s exactly what the website stated. After a chat with the receptionist I was offered a refund as it was not what I booked and the reception sent me an email confirming that. I was told the person who deals with bookings is away on holidays and it will be done in a couple of weeks which I didn’t mind. I have now been chasing the hotel for almost 8 weeks to receive my refund and I don’t even get replies anymore. It’s very disappointing. Be aware when booking this hotel, you might get a room with a bathroom across the hallway from your room.

Great place for the value. I only slept 6 hours a night and that is all I spent in my room.

Great location…right in the mix of things.

They forgot to load my room with towels. I had to ask twice.

Super affordable, so pretty and the perfect location - can't wait to come back!

Had no idea how lucky we'd got when a cancellation meant we got to book Hotel Pauw! Such a gorgeous vibe in the perfect location with super friendly staff - we actually ended up extending our stay by an extra night because we were enjoying it so much! Can't wait to visit again, especially as we want to try the breakfast too :)

The lack of air conditioning is slightly unfortunate given the current heatwave, but the two fans provided took the worst of the heat away. Definitely wouldn't stop us staying again.

Property was in a great location in the city center and party central for the Summer Fest!

Older building so access to the upper floors was at Ike’s challenging.

For a three star hotel I did not expect power outlets falling out of the wall, or malfunctioning windows. No safe in room (did not check beforehand)

it was a challenge to get to the hotel; because it was in a pedestrian zone, once we got to the hotel , parking was really close by

Experience Nijmegen in Hotel Pauw

Perfect location, in the middle of Nijmegen. Close to Stores, Restaurants, Bars and Terraces. Good Breakfast, brought by friendly Staff. Good overall Atmosphere!

Breakfast was good. Friendly staff there

Staff in the afternoon was uninterested, room was stuffy and had a very poor view. It was really noisy, all night people came in and made a lot of noise. I didn't sleep wellicht.

Punctual and polite services. Accurate understanding and search for solutions at the bar. Pleasant environment.

The heating was not as noticeable as I expected. He felt colder than hot.

Central location, friendly staff, clean friendly room, could connect my computer to TV over WiFi

On two occasions it was very noisy: once because of loud neighbors, once because of Friday night partying nearby (despite my room not facing the market square).
