Great location and time realy enjoyed every bit of it.

The sauna in the bathroom and spa on the side were in perfect places

Comfortable hotel, good location, great staff

Very comfortable hotel a few hundred meters from the entrance through the city walls. A great bar on the roof (also a quieter one downstairs) with views over the city. The rooms are comfortable and they provide a good breakfast. The gym is very well equipped and there is a pool, but it's not the biggest, but good to cool down. Finally what makes this hotel is the staff, nothing is to much trouble.

Not good, bad service overall and they still haven’t returned my deposit of 400€.

The hotel was nice and good options for breakfast.

It rained during our stay, so the hotel flooded. In our room there was water coming in from the wall, next to the electrical sockets.. when we asked for a room change they told us that this issue has occurred in other rooms as well and there is no availability. They claimed that the issue of the leak was addressed and that our room would be cleaned. It took 1.5 hours and 3 trips to reception to make our room habitable again. I spoke to the PR lady the next morning. She was helpful and tried yo switch our rooms, but we explained that it would be more trouble as we had only one night left in the hotel and since the issue was “addressed”. The next night it rained again and the room flooded even worse, when I went to reception they asked me to pack my belongings and they moved us to the suite for our last night. After changing rooms I went down to the reception and they told me “we hope you are happy now”, like it makes a difference if you sleep in a bigger room for a night. The worst thing is that upon check-in, they ask for a deposit equal to 50% of your total stay cost(400€), from your credit card. This amount is refundable in the end, as they told us. when we checked out, we had a bill of 100€ at the hotel bar and we had to make a new payment, so they could refund us the deposit in full. I paid and asked them when I will see the refund and they told me within the end of the day. 20 days later, still they haven’t returned the money, they do not reply in emails, they do not reply through the form of their website and they do not reply through booking. Totally unprofessional for a 5 star hotel. When you need their services the most, they underperform. I will take legal action against them.

Bij ons volgend bezoek aan Marrakech wordt het gegarandeerd opnieuw hotel l'Hivernage!

Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk, maar ze zijn met heel veel. Ze lopen zowel in restaurant Table du Marché, als in de ontbijtruimte met een overvloed aan personeel. Efficiëntie in het werk is zo soms wat zoek. We vernamen dat hotel Nobu (de overburen), hotel Kenza en hotel l'Hivernage dezelfde directie hebben. Vermoedelijk moet er organisatorisch nog wat bijgestuurd worden ? Ik was jarig tijdens mijn verblijf en werd er uitgebreid gevierd door het personeel van de Sky (= rooftof bar van het hotel), de poetsvrouw had de kamer uitgebreid versierd met rozenblaadjes, was aangename verrassing!

Soms beperkte kennis van het Frans bij het personeel.

Every detail was taken care of. Thank you all at Hivernage Hotel.

The staff at Hivernage Hotel were beyond kind. I’m not a fussy traveller but the staff wanted to make sure that I was truely welcomed and had absolutely everything I wanted down to the exact coffee I drink! My beautiful room was very spacious and had a lovely traditional sitting area overlooking the swimming pool and the red city. I stayed at Hivernage for a work meeting - which went without a hitch due to the excellent wi-fi - but I also loved meeting the ladies in the spa and enjoying a little pampering and poolside time as well. Such a lovely hotel!

Maybe the cappuccino… but the espresso was perfect!

DESPITE ILLNESS HOTEL STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE OUR STAY COMFORTABLE

My wife was ill and the staff were so very helpful. They allowed us a very late checkout for no additional charge.

Unfortunately building work was taking place on an adjacent hotel which was a little noisy during the day.

It was okay

The room was good

No toothbrush nor comb in the room. I had to ask the reception desk for these 2 items. And this for a 5 stars hotels is not okay. The receptionist did his best and I sled the room service. Funny enough no comb was available in the hotel. I travelled very light for less than 24 hours. I didn’t bring my toothbrush and my comb as I expected to find normally find them in a 5 stars hotel. The breakfast was lacking variety of the food and no corner for people with any food allergy.

The location‘s good.

Took an hour to settle the system booking mistake not induced by us, and only solved after contacting booking costumer service. What’s really bad the water basin and toilet are always blocked,….

Fuyez c’est des voleurs

N’hésitez pas , allez en face mais pas à cet hôtel… j’ai fait l’erreur de laisser une pochette d’une grande marque dans un sac…Le jour même de faire nos valises plus de pochette… elle a été arraché car le crochet qui l’a retenait était encore ouvert… les femmes de chambres sont venus retourner notre chambre valises, lits etc pour nous dire que c’est peut-être nous qui nous sommes volés nos propres affaires , grosse blague. Le patron n’est même pas venu… à la réception aucune réponse… en clair il m’ont conseillé de m’en racheter une. Ou peut-être faire une déclaration à leur police! du vol dans les chambres mais a priori c’est normal! Ne laissez rien dans les chambres… c’est inadmissible pour un hôtel qui se veut 4 ou 5 étoile… il faudrait déjà revoir vos employées. Un séjour = une pochette volée, belle image… on m’a demandé d’accuser personne mais la pochette c’est volatilisé comme par magie… j’attend une réponse mais la femme de chambre a bien calculé son coup ! Ils auront toujours raison et c’est bien triste.. très déçu je le recommande absolument pas

Etablissement décevant ! A éviter...

La centralisation de l'hôtel et la proximité des établissements de renommée.

La vétusté de l'hôtel! Cet établissement à besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement! L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine très minimaliste et pratiquement inutile en raison d'un manque d'ensoleillement. Cet établissement est très mal insonorisé, que ce soit pour le bruit extérieur ou des chambres voisines. De plus l'hôtel se trouve dans une rue très bruyante et où les noctambules et autres clubbers n'ont aucun respect et ce sans compter les coup de klaxon et agressivité des taxis! L'écran plat était plus petit que celui de mon ordinateur et dispose d'une seule chaîne francophone. Lors de ma réservation on m'a refusé un lit d'appoint pour une enfant de 9 ans et on m'a demandé de prendre une chambre supérieure avec un surcout de 300€. A notre arrivée quelle ne fut pas notre surprise a la decouverte de la chambre double, avec 2 lits simples joints et un lit d'appoint... Le minibar est à éviter et hors de prix. Une bière et un paquet de cacahuètes 13€ En résumé, évitez cet hôtel 5 étoiles (filantes) il est loin d'être à la hauteur du prix demandé!

The breakfast was poor - no egg making station- toaster was manual and single toast at a time - service was poor too

Stayed in room 605 the cleaner stole 210 pounds from my pocket. The manager Mohsin checked the door fob and history showed the cleaner had been in whilst we went for breakfast. The sink in bathroom was blocked. We moved to Jadali hotel much nicer
