Great place to stay plus onsite restaurant is delicious!

Lovely family run hotel and restaurant. Staff super friendly. Room was large and had a comfy bed. Shower had plenty of hot water. Delicious restaurant on site. Great spot to watch sunset!

Super Host, great food and room.

From the start the girl taking us to Alan was polite and then Alan showing us to the new cabins and helping with the bags was great. A home away from home feeling. The hints from Alan on things to do, we would have missed, like the Pancake Rocks and The Hokitiko Gorge were great.

Nothing real negative but unsure where to check in. Bit old school like the pubs in Scotland where you go to the bar.

Saubere Unterkunft mit gutem Restaurant und Meerzugang

Der Parkplatz vor dem Zimmer ist sehr praktisch. Die saubere Unterkunft bietet zusätzlich einen kleinen Aussenbereich, den man je nach Wetter gerne vor dem Schlafengehen nutzt. Ein keiner Spaziergang hinunter zum Meer ist empfehlenswert. Auf der Speisekarte findet jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack.

Unsere Unterkunft war nahe zur Strasse, die man im Zimmer nicht überhört. Das betrifft wohl nur die Zimmer-Bungalows, in Strassennähe.

Perfect

Everything. The room was very clean and spacious, well designed. Everything you needed in the kitchen and a lovely outlook. One of the best accommodations I have stayed in. A family run property since the early 50’s. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Nothing - however I think a Reception sign would be helpful.

Well worth staying there, definitely recommend

Lovely friendly staff who also gave good suggestions on places to visit. Units were excellent and had everything we needed. The restaurant served great food and was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again

Great accommodation but disappointing food.

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. There was a lovely kitchenette with a well stocked mini-bar. The owner was a most gregarious, friendly man who went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and were disappointed with the food. It felt like a 1970’s style meal….very basic.

Very clean & comfortable

Very clean, big comfortable bed & excellent shower. The meals at the restaurant were great too.

Only negative was the bathroom was a bit small, and no place to put toiletry bag - but a very minor negative!!

What a beautiful Hotel. Our room was 👌 no complaints from us. Paroa Hotel has an amazing restaurant and bar they will do room service as well. Absolutely loved our stay. The beach is only 100 or so metres away perfect little getaway hotel. Lovely friendly staff as well.

Great place…. But would be excellent with a bit more guest care.

Great location and friendly staff.

Would have been nice if we were told of the rugby do taking place at the restaurant… we booked a table on arrival which ended up being right in the middle of their event! If we had been told there was going to be a rowdy function taking place we would have come earlier/later.

Family run with efficient who obviously like working there. Care and capability in all aspects. Hospitality in its real sense is understood here. Pricing is good.
