Terrible, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, however the were lovely and trying to do their best under the circumstances.

Location

Old grotty dirty generally very poor! Stained carpets, bedding, curtains and towels, bathroom plastic sink looked like it had been stained by vomit, the shower over the bath was set so high that my head touched the ceiling, I fell trying to get out of it as it was very high to get my leg over the side whilst stepping out. I had to carry my suitcase up 8 flights of stairs as there was no lift, most of the hotel seemed to be closed off due to building works, there was often hammering and drilling going on. My friends room was cancelled due to these works, however mine wasn’t cancelled but wish it had been as they paid a much cheaper price at another Hotel, if I had known it was going to be like this I would never have booked it in the first place, I should have been informed of the woks going on and offered a refund so that I would have had a choice and be able to book elsewhere, the place should be shut until all the work is carried out and had a total refurbishment.

Great location, spotlessly clean and excellent value for money

Some areas are a little tired or dated but there are improvements being made and the whole place is spotlessly clean. for the price its excellent value

Excellent hotel and facilities right in the heart of town

The room was impeccably clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The heating and hot water in the shower worked perfectly. The location was perfect as well, right in the town center. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful!

There is no elevator, and the stairs can be a bit tricky to carry suitcases up and down. I didn’t travel with a lot, so I didn’t mind. But if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, be mindful that you could have to carry it up 4 flights of stairs (depending on where your room is).

Location great value for money not so great . Very noisy and no outside street lighting

Breakfast was ok . Location was great

Very noisy , could hear people and phone alarms in next rooms . Not double glazed so lots of street noise . No outside street lighting so was very dark outside front of hotel . Website states food available. Not the case . Breakfast only . Seated area on first floor contained boxes of toilets . Lighting in room bad . Main bedroom area only had bedside lighting .

Location. Friendly & welcoming staff

The rooms. The interior decor very basic, wallpaper peeling off the walls, smoke detector hanging, first bathroom bathtub peeling, shower curtain not clean, the lighting dim. We had a leak in our first room and the staff swiftly moved us one floor down where the room was far better then the 1st. Cleaner tidier bedroom and bathroom. No damp. We did on the last night have an issue with heating but again staff swiftly responded and sorted it out. My personal view is..... Maybe if I'd booked direct with the establishment I'd been offered a much better room. But! On the bright side the bed very comfortable and the towels crisp white and soft. I'm sure after the big reno it will look amazing and cozy. If I'm ever again in that part of the country I'd stay there again.

Booked sea view room. The view from the window was amazing. The staff seemed lovely

Property very tired. Bed not so comfy but clean. Breakfast was ok. Some of the ingredients not so good but edible. The builders were in doing the windows which did not effect or stay at all. Hopefully the work extends to the rooms.

The staff was so lovely and hopefully once all the work is done it will be loads better.

The breakfast was average wasn’t all that must of a choice.The hotel a very rundown hotel that needs a lot of work.You can tell they’re trying to cut corners where they can and wasn’t much option and food was on a budget.

The hotel location is a fantastic spot in Tenby views from the hotel was fantastic and not far to walk to the town centre. The hotel is so rundown it’s very dirty inside and needs a lot of work.

The hotel was being refurbished, it was a dirty uncomfortable mess, it should not have been open for business. There was shards of broken glass on my bedroom carpet. The lock on the bedroom door was not effective.

Disappointed about the hotel quality.

Location very good. Hotel needs total renovation, I've been told that it takes 2 years to complete the refurbishment. Breakfast was basic. Receptionist friendly.

The photos about the hotel bedrooms are not really what we experienced.

Cheap [For Tenby] But not very cheerful!

The hotel is extremely run down. The building is hidden beneath a wall of scaffolding that gives you an impression of what to expect inside. The rooms are shabby and the climb to our room was up several flights of stairs. Quite a daunting trek with one's luggage in tow! The room was very basic but did include a kettle and tea/coffee making materials. The bed was comfortable and the view from the window was amazing. But to enjoy it you need to open the window as the glass id filthy.

The whole building needs an upgrade! It is terribly run down.

Hotel met veel potentie maar nu is ver onder de maat.

De locatie is een absolute topplek. Het hotel heeft waanzinnig veel potentie. Het wordt de komende 2 jaar verbouwd. Het kan dan een voortreffelijk hotel worden.

Ondanks het feit dat het hotel in andere handen is gekomen en het verbouwd wordt, kan het niet zo zijn dat men het nu volledig laat lopen. Het is gewoon nergens schoon. De spinnenwebben hangen tegen het plafond. Alles is wat smoezelig. Dat maakt dat je het niet erg comfortabel vindt.

Short family stay

Very clean inside, room and facilities were spotless. Bed was very comfy. Room was huge. View was amazing. Free breakfast was plentiful. Made to feel very welcome. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Free WiFi.

Great views from breakfast, the hot breakfast was small but was plenty and tasted nice. There was also a continental selection to choose from. Amazing views from our bedroom. Yes the building is dated and can definitely do with some work but you can see some changes have been made already. Great location to stay for the night and great value for money.

The pillows on the bed were very flat (although bedding was very clean). Windows are thin and seagulls very loud.

Views from hotel were breathtaking.

Absolutely loved the views! Stunning. Could have sat in the window for hours! The mattress was very comfortable and clean.

The first room we were given right on the top floor was not a nice room. We complained and was then given another room. Very old fashioned and needs modernisation.

Cheap hotel, no airs and graces.Clean and friendly that's all that matters to me.

The building shabby on the outside. Needs updating on the inside. But clean,friendly staff, breakfast cooked fresh on request..

The shower was worked off the bath taps so difficult tio judge temperature.Dangerous for children to use.

Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, location was superb

The building overall was shabby, our bedroom window seemed to be held in by additional external timbers and the window sill was rotten. The room floor sloped alarmingly. The lift was out of order and a designated fire escape at the bottom of the stairs was blocked by furniture in the bar area. After paying in full when booked, we were then charged an additional £20 for our small terrier.

Fortunately we only stayed for one night.

The hotel was close to amenities in Tenby. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel desperately needs refurbishing. Exterior paint flaking and railings rusty. Interior is dilapidated and what had been refurbished wasn't done to a good standard.

The view of the beach and it was central to shops/pubs and restaurants.

The walls ,windows and doors are falling apart the lift was out of order furniture needs updating we only seen 2 members of staff through out our stay this property really needs a revamp

the walls were full of cracks the rooms were slanted and there was no access to a lift and the breakfast was disgusting it tasted like a microwave breakfast I can buy from a supermarket will not be staying here again in a rush
