Lovely stay - highly recommend!

Host Mara is very friendly and inviting. It's a beautiful quaint property! Love the beautiful gardens and patio with covered grape trellis. The rooms were comfortable. We stopped at Tommy grocery store and picked up few things to cook a nice breakfast before our hike at Plitvice. It's close to the park. Mara also recommended a fabulous restaurant - we loved it so much we went there twice.

The second bedroom has no A/C...we worked around it by keeping all the doors open so that the A/C in the main bedroom could cool the other room.

Perfect for families

The hostess is very friendly, and helpful. The room we took was very clean with all basic amenities. The location is perfect, 8 minutes drive to entrance 1 of the park. The neck yard was great for the kids to run in the wild and play. There is a grocery about 1.8km from the apartment, and restaurants are 1-5 min drive

Clean, comfortable, exceptional!

Everything! The host was delightful. The apartment was the cleanest I've been to. The beds were comfortable and fitted 5 adults comfortably. The air-conditioning worked. There was enough space. The location was fine, though a bit of a walk from the local shop if it's storming! The breakfast at 10euro each was good value and yummy. Mara even brought us beer and OJ one afternoon. Probably the best airbnb style we have stayed in Europe so far. Highly recommend!

best place for Plitvice Lakes, clean, big, the kids loved the huge room

great place near Plitvice Lakes National Park (10 minutes) and Rastoke (15 minutes) super clean, very big apartment. big screen TV with Netflix Mara (the host) even gave us juice and beers when we came. we even did laundry :-)

Perfecto, highly recommend!

Leonarda was a great and superb host. The check in was seamless and she ensured that our stay was pleasant. On top of that, she offered us a ride to the restaurant for dinner and gave us complementary drinks. If you're visiting Plitvice, this is where you should stay! We can't wait to visit Plitvice again.

Location was approximately 10 minutes drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park. If you're not driving, it could be a hassle. Other than that, everything was great.

A great family stay near Plitvice

We had an amazing stay. This appartment is located near (5 minutes by car) Plitvice national park, but is sufficiently far to avoid the crowds and/or noise. It is very spacious, comfortable and clean. The layout was enough for 4 adults and 2 children, the beds were comfortable, heating is available and working great (even in very cold weather). Ample parking space available at no extra cost. Various shopping options nearby. Last but certainly not least - the owners are simply amazing, warm and welcoming hosts. Thanks for a great experience, see you soon!

I cannot think of a single thing. The only point that comes to mind is a suggestion. If you are coming by car, you can freely explore the amazing surroundings. If not, let the owners know, I am sure they can suggest something. If arriving in spring or summer (or any other period, for that matter), don't forget there is so much more in this area apart from Plitvice, and all of it is nearby. Google is your friend but you will have amazing hosts, so that is what I suggest you start with.

The owner is a really nice and helpful.

The room was clean and the owner was friendly, but the owner forgot to turn on the heater at night and wifi went off at night. Could have been better.

Very clean comfortable house, nice! Host was excellent and made breakfast for our kids, definitely recommended for family trip! The house has everything that's needed. Host was friendly and very helpful, short drive from Plitvice lake and other attractions.

The apartment could easily and comfortably house 5 people for an extended stay.

Our hostess was open and welcoming. She made us a wonderful breakfast and encouraged us to pack the leftovers for a lunch to take with us on our trip to Plitvice National Park. During breakfast she taught us some of the history of the area.

Felt welcome here, nice location

Owners were extremely friendly and helpful! They live in the same building (separate entrance), so always nearby. We mainly liked the location: short distance to Plitvice, and close to the bus station. We did everything by public transport, except for Plitvice lakes, we took a taxi for 15-20 euros, in order to get there early (first bus only at 9am). Location is good for mountainbiking too. A lot of things to do in the neighbourhood, you can easily spend several days. There's a (very small) market at walking distance, and you have several restaurant options too. The apartment is spacious, and everything was very clean.

Not a lot to mention: table in the kitchen is not that big, and the bed was ok but not top.

The house was adorable, and in such a beautiful setting! My kids loved the little swing set. The host was so kind and hospitable. Beds were comfy!

We left too early in the morning to get to enjoy breakfast. So if you plan to get to Plitvice Lakes when it opens at 7, just know you’ll probably miss breakfast! (But we just bought some fruit from the nearby market to have for breakfast and it was fine!)

Clean and beautiful place, 15 minutes from plitvice lakes, amazing breakfast.

We rented the private apartment which was very clean and has nice furniture. House Leonarda is very close to the plitvice lakes. The breakfast is amazing. Everyday hostess Mara makes this for you for an additional price. I've never had so much food for breakfast. Also, Mara is amazing. She is very kind and tried everything she can to give you the best possible stay. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone. Thank you Mara for an amazing time!

Wonderful and peacful place to stay and rest, but not for larger groups of grownups

Location is wonderful. Nature all over the place. If you are looking for place to rest, search no more. It has everything.

However if you plan larger groups that intend to stay awake longer in the night and have some louder conversations, play some music - look for another property. Host lives in same house and one apartment is on 2nd floor of the house which shares same hallway as host's home. You can unintentionally enter their bath or badroom.
