Nice place but leave plenty of travelling time getting into central London

Hotel is situated in a lovely part of North London, easy to get to by car. Lovely little front garden to eat your breakfast on, car parking on the premises. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed the stay and the negative comments I have made below mainly reflect the area and not the hotel itself.

Personally, I found the beds to be too hard, I really didn't sleep well at all, but that may be just my preference. Room was tiny, as was the bathroom which got claustrophobic quickly. Travelling wasn't straightforward - buses are great and easy but tube stop is a good 15 minute walk away and do bear in mind that because its North London, you have to travel quite a long way down the line for any changeovers if you want to travel east to west or vice versa. Either that or get the overground which is time consuming. It took me 2 hours to get from Muswell Hill to Tottenham.

OK but could be better

My bed was too small and the room was cramped. The whole place could do with some refurbishment. But it's a place that I have stayed in a few times and keep coming back to. Figure that!

Lovely spot off Muswell hill broadway

Really handy and lots of character - I didn’t mind the old fashioned interior.

Walls are quite thin. Could hear a couple making out loudly during the night … was not pleased

A well-located, great value, overnight stop!

Very helpful, friendly staff arranged for convenient parking. Family room was clean, included coffee/tea making facilities and had a fridge. The location was great. Very close to Alexandra Palace and to bus and tube services to the city.

Though the photographs showed a dining room at the hotel, breakfast wasn't 'in house' but in a small, convenient cafe where the £11 'Full English' was very good and the coffee superb.

Highly unlikely to stay again. Very expensive for what it is.

24 hour desk for very late arrival. Close to where needed to be

Shabby, very out of date decor, furnishings etc. Climbed to top of building with heavy suitcase. Didn’t feel comfort on my own.

Ideal location, perfect for a short stay if you need to be in this area of London for Alexandra Palace or Tottenham stad

It was close to the venue we were visiting. Near shops, and bus routes.

The decor needs updating, very old fashioned but comfortable.

Adequate, but I will not likely return.

Room was acceptable but coffee/cookies were not renewed each day. Lots of facilities nearby. Bus, tube transport good.

Sign in the shower said beware, very hot water. NOT. Barely made it to warm. Early morning, late night, mid-afternoon made no difference.

Clean and well situated, but limited facilities

The property is well located near to Muswell Hill shops and restaurants. There was only one person on reception but he was helpful. The shower worked well.

The room was an attic room with very restricted headroom. The sprung mattress was not very comfortable. There was no information about breakfast. We are both tall and it was a cramped experience.

Perfect Location for Alexandra Palace

Good size room with good wifi. Room and bathroom were both very clean.

Very loud guests partying in the next room at 4am although this was not the fault of the hotel itself!

Ok Stay

Convenient location for Alexander Palace. Helpful staff.

Hotel was on a busy road. It was very loud and creaky you could hear everyone walking to and from their rooms. I could hear the people in the room next to me over my TV.

Clean, comfortable, good value. Would definitely stay again.

Good location and value for money. The room was clean and comfy with a lovely view (top floor). It had everything I needed for my stay (towels were provided, etc) and the bed was comfortable.

No breakfast facilities on site. There is a cafe. nearby which I didn’t get a chance to try.

disappointed no food served at hotel you could get food delivered as they would order it in for you however no place to eat it as dining room was not in use

It could have been better

The bed sizes of the bed matched what l expected but the room size was small than what was on the website of the hotel and THAT'S DISAPPOINTING.

Quiet comfy hotel in a great location

great location, very nice staff, super clean, well equipped rooms that are comfortable. the hotel is nice and quiet for a good nights rest.
