Exceptional

The chekin was done online so we could arrive later in the night.Cristina is very kind and helpfull, she also helped us with transfer from the airport. In the Room there was a present waiting for us and Also cold water in the fridge. The apartments are very Well locatet almost every attraction od the hystorical part is accessible in 5-10 mins. Palermo and the people there are awesome. We highly recommend to Visit the city and book a Room in this place

The Host was incredibly kind and helpful. Very nice new buildung, clear instructions also for a late check in. Well organised check out, clean rooms, nice view from the small balcony. Everything was perfect!

I stayed in the rooftop apartment-great terrace overlooking the rooftops of Palermo, great location, quiet at night, fully stocked kitchen implements, friendly and helpful host (provided a great list of everything I needed to enjoy Palermo)very secure (private lift opening into the apartment was very cool), details of self check in process sent with accompanying video clips, lovely linen, great bed, air con in living room and bedroom…. very comfortable

Fantastic location (2-3min walk to Quattro Canti and Fontana Pretoria) Clean and quiet place. Good contact with owners.

Very small shower. I don’t know why is so small in that large bathroom🤷‍♂️

Heaven in the centre of Palermo

These apartments are exceptional in not just their location but the helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the fittings and the comfort in the apartment. When you add this to the quietness of the surrounding area it means they're an absolutely first class. However far from being off the beaten track ,three minutes means you are in the midst of all that Palermo has to offer. The staff supply by messenging information restaurants, major attractions, markets ,in fact everything to make a stay first class.

Only one little thing, the kitchenware is so nice and there are no non stick accessories to not scratch the frypans.

Warm welcome to light and spacious apartment in the old town. Close to centre.

Met at the door by friendly and welcoming host. Expected to just drop our bags as arrived early, but apartment was ready....which was fantastic as overnight train from Rome had left us in need of shower! Old quarter location, not quiet, but not noisy either.... All the facilities you’d expect for a modern apartment in an historic building. Lift to all floors if needed, but stairs fine as well. Balconies opened into street for fresh air, and city atmosphere. Short walk to main streets for food and sight seeing. Street cafes great. Walking distance of train station.

The only minus point was size of shower cubicle....less than generous, which was a shame as plenty of space to fit a bigger one.

The accommodation was in the centre of the city centre, with all amenities within walking distance. Easy access to the train station close to where the airport bus arrived

Very convenient Appartment in a great location

we were in the 4th floor (penthouse Appartment), it is big with a nice terrace, direct access through the elevator. the host was very helpful with his indications and extra help to register our car in the ZTL area. There is free parking available in the square next to the apartment (it is busy but we always found a spot), walking distance to main attractions in the city center

The apartment was not clean at the time of the arrival.

The hosts were really nice, great and fast communication via WhatsApp, they also awaited us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, cozy, and clean. By car it is very close to the city center.

It was a little bit difficult to find the house because we arrived at night.

Very helpful staff! Got great tips to where to eat and what to do in Palermo. They were flexible and helpful when it came to check-in and check-out times (our plane left very early in the morning)

Super worthy! Comfortable, great location and friendly staff!

Great spacious and clean apartment with excellent location (historic center) close to restaurants, bars, supermarket, etc. Air conditioner both in the room and living room. Martina was super friendly and helped with everything. I needed a later check out and was absolutely no problem, she was very kind letting me stay.

Everything was great for the price.

Great apartment with amazing host, close to the city center!

The owner Cristina, and the employees Martina and Salam are truly wonderful, they were constantly making sure that we were comfortable! They helped us out with the car situation (you need to register your car's license plate to move around Palermo, and they took care of that for us). The room was super clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the kitchen/living room area had everything necessary for our stay. The apartments are about 2-3 minute walk from the main via in the Old Town Center.

This has nothing to do with the apartment or the hosts - just a heads up: The opposite side of the apartment (walking away from the center) was in a sketchy area, and we weren't super comfortable leaving the car overnight. On that side of the apartments the roads are full of trash, unfortunately. But if you want to limit your visit to the center, you basically only need to go through these streets upon arrival.

In the best location with the best service.

The apartment is spacious enough for 4 of us. Sofa bed is comfy and big enough for 2 adults. Kitchenette is small but we didn’t need to cook, so it’s ok. The best is the host/manageress Cristina! She speaks excellent English, and is always there to help especially when we have the language barrier communicating with the drivers. She helped us arrange a private transfer to and from airport and also to and from Tripani even a week after we have checked out AND when she was supposed to be on sick leave! All and all our trip went smoothly many thanks to her. I highly recommend Ponticello.
